Anker have become my 'go to' usb cable supplier for charging and data, mainly due to the solid build quality. You might see from my past review that I've gone through trying several different brands of usb lead over the years and they invariable all fail either by poor manufacturing or poor performance, such as splitting at the strain relief and failing to charge consistently. Anker, while great, aren't invulnerable to the rare issue too, but they seem to have them significantly less often in my experience. With these cables I purchased the twin pack in January and by June one of them was giving me grief with unreliable connectivity - how Anker responded really demonstrated what 5 star service should be.

I went through a phase of buying loads of different brand cables to find the most reliable. Most cables either join very weakly and stop charging after a few weeks, or charge very slowly (harder to find ones that support 2A+ charging).These cables are where I ended up. Well Anker's in general. They support charging speeds up to and including Quick Charge, which is something I found the vast majority of these cables don't.They have robust connections too. Don't get me wrong, eventually these will succumb to the "only charges if precariously set at a specific angle" problem that's inevitable, but these last much longer than most.

I've tested these with a passthrough power meter and found that they reliably carry 1.98 amps while charging up my Galaxy S7 Edge. They're as advertised, they will actually charge your devices quickly given a sufficiently good quality charger. The build on them is great. They're wrapped in a nylon weave, they resist tangling well and have a velcro wrapper to keep them tidy when coiled. They're not shorting you on the length either, 6' means 6'. The connectors on both ends are good quality too, nice rigid fit in the USB port and the micro USB end engages with a positive click and the connection is good regardless of the angle of the cable. I'm very glad I decided to do a tiny bit of research on good brands for actually good quality USB cables.

I remember reading when I bought these that the blurb said that they will charge your 'phone faster. Well, I thought, that'snever going to happen - so I bought them because they were the right length and looked good.How wrong I was. Big apologies to Anker. These things charge my 'phone about 5 times faster than the original cable they replaced. This is good at home, but a complete revelation in the car. I use my 'phone for navigation, so the screen is on quite high, GPS is active along with bluetooth and with my previous cable, leaving it plugged in all the time, I'd still be below 15% upon working a full day. Now, I leave it unplugged, drop down below 20% and in the 90 mins or so it takes to get home,

I bought these cables to replace the Samsung cable that came with a Tab S 10.5 tablet. The original cable had lasted about 2 years before the micro plug started to get hot and it took a long time to charge the tablet. On taking the plug apart, the wire inside the cable was connected to the plug with a stamped barb that pierced the wire insulation and embedded itself into the twisted cable wire. Overtime with continuous flexing, it looked like the barb lost good contact with the twisted wire to give poor contact.The Anker cable looks much more sturdy compared to the Samsung cable and the cable is well embedded in the plugs. I am hoping this will avoid the type of failure in the Samsung cable.

I have tried numerous micro USB cables over the years of having smartphones, and always been disappointed even with the stupidly expensive Samsung cables.These cables feel absolutely solid - nice thick braiding to protect the wiring, solid connectors that make a super satisfying and very firm click when inserted into your usb ports. They don't wobble, or fall out of the port, or even make you wonder if it's in properly - you just know the cable isn't going anywhere until you're ready to remove it.Seriously impressed with these. I've never tried Anker before.. and the positive reviews didn't let me down!Why would you ever pay more than twice this price for a substandard cable you'd find on the

You can see my original review below and the day after I posted it I received a mail from Anker customer service who wished to put the problem right. Two days later I received a free replacement cable! There will always be occasional faulty products but it's how a company deals with it that makes the difference and it seems Anker is getting it right. I will have no hesitation in ordering products from them again in the future. This charging cable in particular I purchased for my cousin. He has purchased many many charger cables as genuine as they have been, they have been rubbish, hardly lasted him 6 months. To be honest I have no idea why has been through so many cables. So I recommended these bad boy Anker cables to him, the man has not look that ever since. You can tell just by looking at and feeling the cable and this is a quality product, to top it all off you get 18 months warranty with these products that's much better than any genuine Samsung or Apple accessory out there. I am usually a massive fan of anker products and tend to buy my cables and power banks from them because they usually are of a great quality, however with this item I was let down. Within 2 or 3 days of using one of the cables the micro usb end is bent which means I either have to keep bending it the other way if I want my phone to charge or not use it at all. The actual braided cable part itself is very good quality but the gold end for the phone has completely let it down. Now I'm down to one cable which is one I'm supposed to take to work and generally on the go with me.Edited: so after contacting ankers customer support And telling my issue with the cable, I received an upgrade of the cable at no extra cost.

I bought this for my Lenovo Android Tablet as I wanted a longer cable and a friend recommended it. I used to have to wait ages for my tablet to trickle charge overnight with the supplied cable short (full disclosure the tablet was bought second hand). So I thought I needed a longer cable to get the tablet to charge while I was using it. With this cable I can now be watching Netflix and the tablet is still charging up while in heavy use. With the old cable it wouldn't even keep it from going down using a usb extension while internet browsing.I work in IT so see lots of different quality cables these seem really good sturdy cables for normal use.

I read some of the reviews and noticed some people said their connectors were all bending in their phones really easy, but I decided to chance it. After a few weeks of having then I was so impressed I had to order 2 more 2 6ft cables, so I have 6 in total and they all work perfectly, I have two downstairs, two upstairs and two for the garden.The 6ft length is awesome, I can use the same cable in my bed and at my desk, and there very strong, I dropped the cable a couple times while my phone was plugged in and the connector didn't bend at all, they must have listened to the customer feedback and improved their design and materials.The included Velcro strip is awesome for when you don't need a

This is the second of these cables I have ordered. The first was almost 18 months ago and has finally given up due to the clips to gold the micro usb in to the phone have no strength yet, meaning the cable won't stay in the socket. However if a cable lasts almost 18 months, I'm very happy with that! Hence ordering again.The cable is thick and high quality meaning a fast and reliable charge, and I love the braided durability. This also means it doesn't tangle or end up getting into knots which is great! I have bought from Anker before and never been disappointed but this product did that. It's a good length cable that looks good and performs well whilst it lasts. I bought this item on the 6th July 2017, it is now the 27th October 2017 and they have both fully failed, that's only 4 months.EDIT: 02/11/2017, After posting the previous comment where the headphones broke Anker personally emailed me to help sort the issues I was having, they offered to send me out two new cables which they did and they arrived very quickly. These new cables are far better and feel a lot more sturdy. They told me that my previous cables must have had a defect so they took note of the product number.I am very happy

Only had it for an hour so far (will update this if anything changes) but it seems really good so far. Normally I get braided chargers from the pound shop but I thought I'd try this and I noticed it was far, far better quality almost instantly. Feels good quality, looks nice and charges miles faster than the cheaper ones. I can tell it's going to last a while, definitely would reccommend seen as it's really affordable too (£6.99 for two 2m cables when I'm writing this).UPDATE: one of the chargers had a very loose connection and would keep falling out at the slightest movement of the device but I contacted Anker's customer service and they swiftly replaced it for me.

Well i bought this cable a few months ago as i wanted a really durable cable and wanted it to last for a long time. Now i had bought a lightning cable from anker before and it has been working fine till today. So i thought only good cable will be from anker. The cable was amazing when i got it. It felt very good quality. Basically after a few months they both stopped working. TheY looked fine and inserted fine into the phone or device but did not work. So then I contacted anker and they were able to send me new ones in a few days. Soo i would recommend everyone to buy this cable coz its very good quality but if u do have any issues, dont worry just contact anker and they will send u another one.
