I got addicted to buying DAB radios for some reason (like the way they sound, work, feel even smell) and have a Revo SuperSignal which was alot more expensive than this radio and also a Roberts Record R, Argos cheapie with ipod dock, Little pocket Bush and a tiny little Sony and this radio looks and sounds amazing for the price! I bought the yellow one which is a nice mustard colour like the pictures. It obviously isn't as clear as the Revo but it has more bass sound when using the classical preset (the radio vibrates in your hand like a Bose Bluetooth speaker does which is rather impressive) and the same features for alot less money and unlike the Revo 4 alkaline or rechargeable AAs can be stuffed in to listen anywhere!

Item arrived in around 24 hours and is perfect as I wanted a radio for travel that can handle bluetooth and can run on batteries. The great features include:-Reasonable quality mono speaker with decent bass for its size-Preset EQ to tailor the sound to your preferences-DAB & FM-3.5mm Line in-Bluetooth to playback music from phones/tablets etc.-Sleep and Alarm function-Battery operation 4xAA (not included) or mains adaptor (included)-3.5mm headphone socket-adjustable backlight-When on stand-by the backlight goes very dim so that it does not light the bedroom but the clock is readable-Self setting of its time-Unlike many DAB radios on the market the volume control can be adjusted for very low

I brought this for my dad for Christmas and he Love's it. The quality of this little radio is AMAZING the sound is crystal clear it's as if the band is in the room. He's wanted a yellow radio for a while now so when thinking of where I'd seen one before, I remembered roaming around amazon when looking for a purple radio for my sister. When my dad's listening to his favorite radio station the music is so clear, the newsreader's are also very clear. The radio is very easy to use and I didn't have to even set the date and time, the radio did it all on it's own. I love it so much that I have purchased one for myself in the Emma Bridgewater blue daisy design,

Bought this for my wife at Christmas to go in the kitchen. She loves it and it looks great.Very easy to use, good sound and clear display. Easy to sync with my iphone and use bluetooth which was a feature we were looking for. Found this to be the great value for us as wanted a small retro look radio with the bluetooth speaker capability, and this ticket all the boxes without being too expensive. Would recommend.If had to give a negative, would be nice if it had a couple of specific memory buttons to store standard FM stations as have to tune back in every time I switch back to FM (listen to football on a Saturday :-) )EDIT - regarding the memory buttons - just to make clear there is a favorites list you can scroll through and store up to 30 channels on FM and DAB.

This was purchased as a birthday present for my husband. It took me a while to pick the right colour, and I'm so glad I went with mustard. It looks much more expensive than it was. Great purchase. Bought this for my daughter for uni. She LOVES it! That's what a dad likes to hear - that they have researched and found a great product which their daughter not only approves of, but loves! She has programmed a ton of her fave radio stations and is super happy. She also surprised me recently because she said she connected via bluetooth from her laptop, and now she can hear good sound with some guts and bass when she is watching movies on her laptop! Win!

You cannot believe your ears when you turn on this little beauty. What a full rich sound! Great reception. All the extra features - and a dimmed display when switched off - are evidence of how much thought has gone into this radio. British built as well - definitely a product to be proud of! I'm already planning to buy another! I plumped for mustard - the faux leather is a lovely touch. All in all - a huge success - and I'm very fussy about my radios!

Love this little powerful speaker. My only gripe is a small hiss at lower volumes. Very surprised with the quality of the sound. Digital radio cuts out for milliseconds every now and then. Only use batteries as an occasion as it absolutely eats them. Overall, I am very happy with this radio and would recommend it to others. I have connected it to my ipod and phone by blue tooth which I love. The connection stays strong and the sound is warm.

I dont do a lot of reviews but really liked this product. Its got everything. USB to charge any phone. Bluetooth. Good sound. Sleep buttons. Etc. And it looks stylish. The yellow covers looks soft and retro. Quality product. Really amazing price. I have a Sony dab radio with iPod connector. The Sony has a bigger bass sound but this radio is very nearly as good. Carry strap nice too

A lovely radio. I'm not sure if I'm just having a few niggles with sound quality or it's because I live out in the sticks, but it's certainly clearer in some rooms than others. That being said, I love the fact I can connect via Bluetooth and it's a beautiful piece of design which looks stunning. I would recommend, but am wary there's probably something a little better out there.

The VQ Retro Mini arrived with us yesterday. Was so easy to set up, just plugged in and it set the time and date automatically and tuned picking up loads of stations. Also I absolutely love the colour (I have a bit of a mustard obsession in the house!). We got it the double as an alarm clock but I now am eyeing up another for the kitchen! Would definitely recommend.

Having taken my time on making my choice (on what was to be my first Dab radio), I now know that it was time well spent. This little gem packs a punch for its price and I like a good quality sound - I haven't even needed to fiddle with equaliser ! Easy to sync with my iPhone to listen to my music via Bluetooth.Refreshing to find a UK company too

Fantastic product! Really looks the part (there was a lot of deliberation over the colour, as the options are really good). Set up really quickly out of the box and I'm really happy with the sound quality. I mostly use it for the Bluetooth connection, which so far has been seamless. Thoroughly recommended!

Really great all round radio and the auxiliary and Bluetooth very handy too. Already tried 2 other cheaper options which really disappointed so I decided after much research to try this one and I haven't been disappointed. Great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Love this radio! Comes in a fantastic choice of colours I have the mustard yellow which is lovely. The sound quality is fantastic and I love that it so easily pairs via blue tooth to mine or my husbands phones .
