Beautiful good quality case. Having read previous reviews, I was a bit concerned as some warned about fake versions. I think a lot of different cases for different model phones have been reviewed here and these warnings might not go for all cases. The case I review here is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 S-view case in gold. It is quite clearly a genuine product, with model & brand marked on both sides of the case. The back part fits perfectly in the back of the phone (replaces the existing battery cover) and holds the case perfectly in place. The material feels really nice and soft and has a lovely sheen to it. I would say the colour is pinkish gold - I think it looks great and smart,but it may be a bit girly for some. I actually wanted the gold version of the phone, but as it was about £60 more than the black version, I bought the black version. This case pretty much solves that problem for me. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well the front flip cover stays put on the screen. What others have said is true: the case does not have, and would benefit from, a magnet to hold it shut. However, I find with a light press on the front of the cover when closing it, it kind of sucks to the screen and stays there fine. The material is very supple, so the front cover folds away easily to the back when using the phone. I personally take care when placing it in a bag to wedge it in between flat things/a pocket, if you don't do that, it's possible that the case would flip open again with potential to scratch the screen. So if you prefer to be a bit rough or careless with your stuff, this case might not suit you. I think it's great how the phone responds to opening/closing the front cover by displaying the time & some info (you can customise this in the phone settings) and when you flip it open, it launches the default 'wake-up' screen as it would if you pressed the side button. I love this great quality case and I like how it protects the screen from scratching without needing a stick-on screen protector which I always think takes away some of the beauty of the super amoled screen. I personally don't have/use the cordless charging device, so I don't know whether that works with this case but I have found the battery to be more than good enough to last through a full day, so I just charge the phone via cord at night.

After a succession of faulty knock-off's from various local phone accessory merchants that all had to be returned due being faulty or just badly made, I decided to take the plunge and purchase this one in lovely teal. Although some of the reviews were very negative and stated that these are not genuine cases I decided that there were enough positive reviews to justify a £7 risk. I was being charged more than that from aforementioned dodgy outlets.Imagine my surprise when this lovely, well packaged case arrived. The box looks genuine with Samsung markings and codes on the side and upon closer inspection it immediately stood out as the best quality case I have ever purchased. It feels lovely and soft in the hand,the flip works perfectly and even the chip on the inside to activate the flip functions works well.It fitted perfectly and In the 2 weeks since I've had it I have never had to remove it to reset the chip or reactivate the functions.I don't know whether this is a genuine item or not and I don't care. This works as good as I imagine the real one to work at 1/6 of the price.It looks cool, works well and everyone who sees my phone thinks it's the latest note 4. Very pleased indeed.Also, I fitted the Spigen magnetic clip that is also excellent. Adds just the right amount of weight for it to self close and holds it firm enough when on its back.Excellent combo for £15. Looks and feels premium.

After deciding "not a chance" when I saw the £45 price tag for this in Phones4U, I looked here on Amazon and found the same thing here for less than a quarter of the price!It is the official product (assuming it still is now), and works brilliantly and is a great cover for my S4.It works fine, and makes life easier when you get a phone call, being able to answer the calls without having to open the cover. It pretty much does what it says on the tin, all the features that is explained.NOTE: (This is a positive). You take the back off your S4, then replace it with this case as it is one piece, so it won't come off if you're flinging it about or drop it,as well as this it reduces the thickness that is added to the phone (as in it doesn't just add to the thickness of the phone, it uses the phones design to its advantage compared to other cases which you just add the phone cover plain over the top of the phone). To be fair, you barely notice the difference in your pocket when you've put the cover on.

I really like this case - it is great addition to the S5 phone - having the windowed screen allows visible information even when the phone is protected. I have a screen protector as well, and even with that the touch operation through the window is easy. Opening the case and folding it back does not make it too bulky but the case needs to be placed upside-down to restore the close feature - I have solved this with the Spigen magnet set for the S-View case which is simple but worthwhile.The only issue as mentioned by others is after powering up the S5 prompts you to verify the case has been placed on the S5 securely as it becomes the phones rear cover - fitted in place of the removable backcover - this is a pain as I often need to power it off with flights and areas where phones are not allowed - but only takes a couple of seconds to confirm this x2.So 4 1/2 stars from me - not an option from Amazon - so I do 'love it' but not as yet 5/5 - after a longer test I may update this review.

Bought a black version of the case. Had a look at additional pictures here on Amazon to compare the case packaging to the one delivered to me. All looked genuine, though slightly different to the one pictured. Case of a good quality. The flip part is inbuilt in to a new rear cover. My phone is the I9192, so I ll be missing a DUOS sign on the rear snap on cover. Fits perfectly fine. Dropped the phone on to the table once and flip cover stopped closing perfectly. But later realized that rear cover came of a little bit taking the flip cover out of line. Snapped rear cover back on properly and everything once again fits perfectly. When closing flip bit the screen changes to the one shown in the original picture.it is possible to answer the phone call through the window in the flip part. Just slide your finger as you usually would to receive the call. I can not believe how many people receiving fake cases. I have bought mine from Amazon direct. Very happy with the case.

With this case my smart phone becomes almost as well protected as an old flip open phone. I have cracked three smart phone screens previously even with tempered glass protectors. I think that this case is going to make my S4 more durable. Galaxy S4 have enough power for me, and replaceable batteries so I want to use this phone for a while. I may get some tempered glass on there too. I wish there were more software controllability of what I can do in the small window.I wish that there were more software support for the case, so that we could customise that which is displayed in the window, and control what happens when the case is open and closed. I would like to be able to take photos with the case closed (e.g.by saying "shoot") but that does not seem to be possible because shutting the case turns the phone off. There are a couple of third party apps but one has ads and the other doesn't control case shutting functionality.

However, I ordered this flip cover after observing that the price was nice! I was delighted to receive this exactly how it was described and more besides. Furthermore, and extremely important for the comfort of the user, the cover closes well even after having been open for a long period of time. When it is closed, this cover offers many options. The time, date and year are shown clearly and by swiping the bottom-right-hand circle, the options one has are marvellous. You can take a pic, use the action memo, and play your song list.I would like to add that the quality of the cover is of the best quality, too!I chose the teal cover which I love, but there are a spectrum of colours for every taste. So yes, this product has lived up to my expectations. Bravo Samsung!

Very rarely write reviews, more of a reader of them. Read mostly low scoring reviews of this case and was very nearly put off buying one, particularly as is it very expensive for what it is.As to the complaints of it not shutting correctly when fitted, I have to say I had exactly that problem. Turns out it didn't close because the back hadn't clicked into place all round, which would result in front not closing. Once that was done, then lo and behold, the case closed exactly as it should do, with just the time/notifications visible.Would it offer full protection if it was dropped, well maybe not but it does offer some protection, and is very slimline so doesn't add to the bulk,as some cases do.I like the look of it, it does exactly what I want it to. The only thing that could be improved would be the cost...around the £30 mark is too expensive. Knock a tenner off that price and it would be an easier pill to swallow.

If you're not familiar with the Samsung S View cases, they fit onto the back of the phone and replace the standard back cover so it's a snug fit and also reduces the bulk of the case a little bit. Being a genuine Samsung product the quality and finish is excellent right down to the metallic surrounds around the cut-outs for the camera and LED light on the back.The additional benefit of it being a Samsung designed case is that the phone is aware when the cover is closed or opened so the screen will sleep/wake accordingly. Also, the display readjusts when the cover is closed so all your notifications and alerts will appear in the case's window.Lastly,you can swipe through the window of the front cover in order to answer calls etc so all-in-all it beats third-party cases hands down.Yes, it's white in colour but it you don't mind your phone standing out a bit this is a great price for an excellent product.

S-View Case for Galaxy Note 4 (Mint Green) £12.68 @ Store [email protected], this case is excellent value for money, since its RRP is £39.99Having seen tons of Youtube video searching for the best case for my Note 4, I have decieded to get this S-View Case Cover. Although there are some critical reviews, they have not put me off getting this lovely case.This case is sold by store1986 and fullfilled by Amazon. The package looks genuine with Samsung markings, at closer inspection the case itself feels lovely and soft in the hand. The flip works perfectly and even the chip on the inside to activate the flip functions works well.The best bit about this case I can access vital phone functions without opening the case,openning the Camera app using the S-View is very fast.It does have the premium feels and looks Fitting the case is very easy.I really love it, perfect comapnion for my Note 4.

Had this case for over 8 months now and it still looks brand new. I use the spigen magnetic lock to keep the case closed. This is the best case I've bought for my phone and I've not bought another one since which is very unusual for me as I like to change cases often.As far as I am aware this IS a GENUINE SAMSUNG product and well packaged as such too!!I'm on my phone nearly all the time playing games, etc. and there is not one sign of any wear or tear to either bit of my case which is very robust and sturdy. The back snaps on and off easily with no problem. I love the protection and peace of mind it gives me knowing my phone is safe if I drop or bang it, which I do a lot!I bought this cover for the easy viewing window which makes it 100% better than a normal flip case. (The window is easily wiped if dirty or full of prints so it's not a problem at all.)

Don't accept those cheaper imitation s-view cases that do not activate the 'special' functions - this item is the genuine product (and for less money than bricks and mortar stores are charging for the standard Samsung Folio case!).Not really a massive amount you can say about a case, but - allows you to view text messages, view missed calls / answer calls, has a mini camera mode for those times you need to take a really quick snap (no video mode that I can see), can access the stock music player (although nothing like Neutron or PowerAmp), view the weather (although surely looking up at the sky can complete that task!), and your step count if you use the S-Health app - oh,and - can even allow you do make action memos with the S-Pen, all with the case closed...If you have a Note 3, and a Galaxy Gear like me, then - this completes the set :)

Having used the S-View case on my S4 for the last year or so i thought i would try the same on the new S5.While similar in principle this new case has a bigger screen to display more information. I personally would have preferred if it was the same size screen as the S4 case as it was not a problem to open it for the extra information as and when i wanted it.The biggest change though is the move to using connectors next to the battery instead of a magnet in the cover. This means that it is not able to work with all wireless charging solutions as some of these cover the required connector with no pass through.Additionally the use of these connectors means that while some cheap covers appear to be the same they do not have the necessary connectors in place and dont work.Definitely a case of getting what you pay for.

Im reviewing the original product made by Samsung. Loads of fakes been sold here so please take this review only regarding the original. I got mine from a high street retailer they asked 50 pounds, but as always, I haggled. I told the Amazon price and they matched it!The Sview is so cool, I can answer calls without opening the case. I can see weather clock number of messages etc in the window (made of hard plastic). Opening and closing it automatically switches the screen off and on. You can also take square size photos and control music through S View window.Looks stylish... not the most cheapest, but worth to protect my precious phone!I use it with a explosion proof tempered glass screen protector bought here on Amazon UK.

I got this case free with my S4 when I upgraded. According to my phone provider (Vodaphone) this case is worth £45. Well, to be honest I'd be a little peeved if I'd paid that much but the price that Amazon are charging (currently under a tenner) is more than fair.The case has a good design as it replaces the - somewhat flimsy - original back cover of the S4 and then wraps round the front - like a book cover. It seems sturdy enough and the window for showing the time, etc is great.As with other reviews the case didn't close properly, but I just put the phone face down for the night and it's now fine. Can't really see what all the hysteria is about. It's a nice case, fits perfectly and is cheap.What more do people want?
