So I found the instructions very hard to work out but I got there in the end and is well worth it.A lot of these reviews of the item being 'damaged' are actually not...There are little tags on the bottom half of the crate, they are meant to come off!you then attach the big clips to the bottom half and hold down the top half in the right position and clip the clip on to attach both pieces together.then for the handle just persevere with angles and pressure.the gate... there are 4 little weird shaped triangle things attached to each other like a star, take them off. put them at the top and bottom of where the gate goes (you will see the holes)have them so the bit with the cut out part is going to be facing opposite each other as the weird shaped gaps/hole in this attachment is where the gate slips in.then when you put the gate through these gaps, you might think how will this stay on? like I did, but you can turn the triangle shaped screw thing to lock the gate in place, you will see a little guide of this where the triangle is.and there's some loops if you want to attach a strap.Hope this helps! sorry If I made it sound more complicated but just want to reassure most buyers that their carrier is not broken if the weird tags come off, that's meant to happen x

I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before buying this carrier. As far as I can tell there is very little difference between any of them apart from price and number of doors. Ultimately, I opted for this one because it had provision for seat belt restraint.I was a little apprehensive because it was one of the cheaper ones but, I have to say, it's of excellent quality for the price. I needed 2 for my 2 kittens but cautiously ordered the one to check it out. I have now ordered another one!Strong and sturdy and I love the green colour! It only has the one door but I have used boxes in the past that had a top loading option and I found trying to put a cat in through the top when he doesn't want to go in it,to be virtually impossible without getting scrammed. I am also wary of top loaders as a door with carrying handle attached that takes the full weight of a loaded box doesn't seem very safe to me.This box is perfect for my kittens. I have left the box open for them to explore and they freely go inside it of their own volition.I would have no hesitation in recommending this cat carrier and if I could have given it 6 stars, I would have!

I needed a cat carrier to replace an old damaged one, but didn't want to spend too much and this was around the cheapest I could find.To be honest there's really not a lot wrong with it. When you unpack it, it feels cheap - but then it is cheap., but the quality becomes more apparent once you've fitted it together. It isn't difficult to do, just fitting the latches and handle on, but it can be very tricky getting them into place. I like this, I don't want a handle that fits easily, that just makes it easy to come off, I want to feel happy it's going to stay in place. The same for the side clips I need to feel reassured that the carrier isn't going to fall apart as soon as I've put a cat inside.I've used it a couple of times to visit the vet,and no problem at all. The carrier has also survived a fall from its storage spot on top of a wardrobe, and being knocked downstairs by a clumsy puppy (it was empty), all with no cracks or splits. One of the side clips came off, that's all.On the whole, a cheap pet carrier but certainly value for money!

Bought this for our new kitten not only as her carry case but also as her bed.Carry Case:Its really simple to put together initally and then a great product to use every day. The swinging door gives you easy access while the clips around the side mean you can whip the top off if your cat decides they don't want to come out at the vets. It feels really secure when carrying and the handle means you can easily strap your pet into the car. It also has a clip at the centre top front and centre top back to attatch a shoulder strap if you wantedBed:So we have the top and the door removed and have lined it with a fleecey blanket for a bed. She loves it. She happily sleeps in there, and the facts its also her bed makes it so much easier getting her in it when its coverted to a carry case.

Well, it found favour instantly with the kitten! It was a bit of a struggle to assemble (my husband soaked the handle in very hot water to make it more flexible, which worked nicely. I was impressed because I probably wouldn't have though of it myself). We had a similar one already but it had been used to carry chickens and got left outside, which made the door fastenings rather brittle eventually, though it's still useful for the hens. But we decided the new kitten needed one all to himself, and one with a door that wasn't held on my gaffer tape - wasn't going to be long before he worked his way out.Anyway, I'm very pleased with this one, which looks fine for a small to medium-sized cat (which means he'll probably turn out to be a monster!).

Used to carry two chickens home 40miles from purchase. They seemed content and arrived safely. However, the door ‘can’ be hinged open, but having not used it before the ‘obvious’ thing to do is undo all four catches to remove the door. WRONG!! It’s then an utter pain to put it back on, especially with two occupants who don’t want to be in there. The answer is to open a top catch and it’s adjacent bottom catch which leaves the other two closed and acting as a hinge. ‘That’s the way to do it!’I won’t need another one, but would recommend this one as a well priced carrier that does the job. It could carry several puppies or guinea pigs etc two small dogs or cats or one large cat.Nothing so large as a medium size dog though.

This is the second pet carrier I have bought I just love them they're made to a good quality there safe and secure.I have two rabbits who use these boxes and the product is very good for them although only really used for vet trips and a play /hiding box it does work out a good option. With four fastening devices on the front of the door this makes this front opening carrier sturdy to use you can also flip up the side locks and the whole lid will lift off to take the animal out that way if needed. The product also has a sturdy plastic carrying handle Which during installation I found very hard to place into the holes you need some force to do this ,other than that a good pet carrier I'd highlyrecommend this product .

Although this carrier is advertised mainly as a carrier for cats, small dogs and maybe small rodents. I purchased this carrier for my sons Yellow Bearded Dragon. It's ideal for holding the Bearded Dragon while the vivarium is being cleaned as it's very spacious and not claustrophobic for the animal. Also, as the Bearded Dragon grows, as they do very quickly, there's enough space for it to move around freely. If on the move, I've placed a warm towel in the bottom and covered the top also with a cover for transportation as it also has a top handle.Very easy item to put together as everything clips into place quickly.I would recommend this item for use with all types of small animals includingreptiles.

This arrived today on time. Package and contents complete and no damage. I bought the 48cm size for my adult cat who is 5kg to replace old tatty carrier. It looks much the same sort of design as old one but the clips don’t look very strong. Needed my reading glasses for the instructions which are just a few small pictures. It mostly requires common sense to put it together but the clips need you to press down firmly so if you have arthritis or similar condition you may need someone else to help. Especially with the handle. I tried it with the cat in it and so far so good it has held her weight. Seems fairly durable at the moment. Not bad for £12.

Bought this for our bunny and he looks right at home in there. There is plenty of room for him to stretch out and get comfortable, along with a few toys when being taken to the vets etc.For the money this is the best pet carrier i have seen, especially one of this size. It arrives in a few pieces and takes just a couple of minutes to put together, just attach the clips, handle and door and you're good to go. The plastic is plenty strong enough, its easy to clean, and the plain colours are perfect for keeping our bunny calm.I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive pet carrier that does the job perfectly.

This wasn’t straightforward to put together because thought I’d broken something when the plastic snapped off before I put on the clips to clip the top and bottom together. Then I realised that you’re meant to snap the plastic flaps off before you put the clips on! I’m not sure why they are left on, just to be taken off, but once that was done it was easy to assemble. The door can come off entirely by twisting all of the black screws to open. You can also twist open the top and the bottom screws on one side, which creates a hinge so the door can open and shut. This is a good sturdy cat carrier.

After reading several reviews on this product I was a bit worried about purchasing. But for £12 what if I only use it once.Expected delivery date 30th December- 6th January. Date delivered 29th December. AMAZING!!There's slight first time assembly which is as easy as pie, until I got to the handle which requires a bit of strength or patience.Very sturdy was worried when some reviews said it was small, my oldest cat who is a med/ large cat can lay down quite comfortably and turns around with no problem. So pleased I've ordered another xx

Got this to carry our kitten into vets... Our kitten hates being locked up and in past have used simple carriers and ended up with a very distressed kitten so stopped using them however this isn't a great option when going into a vet hospital and lots of dogs around that could try and attack the kitten..Purchased this item and the kitten upon seeing it started to play with it and even allowed us to lock him into it and still continued to be happy.Hopefully this means when we need to transport him to the vet or anywhere else he will be calmer

Very good - and the fully removable door *without* having to disassemble the rest of the carrier is a nice feature. The clips on the side (5 of: 2x2 on sides + 1 on the rear) are easy to clip / unclip and remain attached to the bottom shell / tray (my carrier had pegs and clips that detach completely and I'm starting to loose them in the general course of Life). The door detaches very easily and neatly which gives a bigger opening for entry / exit.It is as sturdy as needed for carrying Bunnies to vets / transporting in cars.

We had a harder time getting the cats out of these than getting them into them. We put a cheap blanket inside and they were happy to stroll right in. Our cats are 3.25kg and 3.75kg and they have plenty of room to move around. The carrier is also lightweight and so easy to carry with a cat inside. The doors are really easy to open and close, and the top can be removed safely if you need to extract a stubborn cat.Assembly was fairly simple although you have to push quite hard sometimes to get the side clips to lock in.
