I bought this to use on a recent trip to Portugal and it did the job very well despite how light and compact it is. The tripod has a surprising level of strength despite my initial concerns when I first saw it. However, it held my Nikon D800, 24-70mm lens and my heavy Nikon 14-24mm lens very securely. It also fitted in the base hidden compartment of my vanguard VEO camera bag with a good few inches to spare either end. The twist grips on the legs are much stronger than the clip legs versions too. I definitely recommend this great little travel tripod, after 2 weeks travelling around Portugal it is still like new and ready for my next adventure!

An excellent, compact, lightweight tripod designed with the traveller in mind. Small and light enough to fit in a suitcase. At 32cm closed also fits nicely into expandable side pockets of even a small rucksack. Enough height when extended for most landscape shots and even collapses down to a nice low height for those close to the ground shots. Well built and sturdy.

Excellent quality, compact so good for travelling [can easily fit in a backpack and not take up too much space]. Lightweight as well so its not difficult to carry or handle.

I really like this tripod, good for travelling and hiking. However, it’s not very steady when all legs are open on a windy day.
