I have used several heavier more expensive 'luggable' tripods for years but was looking for a much smaller, lighter tripod which was easier to carry on my wildlife photography trips. This one fits the bill exactly and is a real bargain so I have not been disappointed over the last few years. To start with it easily fits in the bottom of my camera kitbag (a large converted fishing shoulder bag with cameras, etc. carried protected in velvet pouches) whereas the larger tripods had to be carried separately with a shoulder strap. The plastic section locks hold it securely without slipping which is where one of my more expensive ones falls down.I have fitted a small ball head mount to the top so that I can adjust with a single screw although this can be easily removed for 'stitched' panorama shots. It is no good for close to the ground flower shots and I have 'mini' tripods to handle these having messed around with reversible centre post tripods previously. As mentioned elsewhere the lowest section is thin but seems a reasonable strong profile. I don't use the lowest section however as there is a I,mmore robust extendable centre post if you occasionally need more height. I have also found that if you extend just one leg this tripod makes a sturdy monopod which I sometimes use for butterflies and dragonflies - one of the reasons for the ball head.As it is designed & intended to be 'lightweight' in construction allowance has to be made for this (rules it out for extremely heavy cameras and lenses - I sold all of these years ago). All in all it is one of the most useful items I have - so much so I bought a spare. Excellent value for money!

First impressions on unboxing - what a lovely little tripod. Receiving a video camera for Christmas it wasn't long before I considered a tripod. Key considerations - lightweight for ease of portability, low cost as I'm new to the world of videography and wanted a gentle introduction. £10 seems a real bargain. The video camera (or indeed a camera) fit to the tripod securely via a standard 1/4" threaded socket found on the bottom of the majority of cameras. There's a small spirit level to ensure the camera is level, something that is important if operating outside on uneven ground. There's a handle to allow pan and scan, so useful if you were following a sporting event for example. How easily this works is up to you - you can either screw down to lock in a fixed position or leave loose to allow easy tracking. The tripod itself folds down to a very small size for ease of carrying, via a supplied shoulder bag, or extends to 3.5 foot tall - easy to see through the viewfinder without much crouching required. The legs are telescopic, in four sections which easily lock or unlock via clips at each level. It's fair to say that the bottom ones are a little on the spindly side but should be ok if treated with care. The spread of the legs gives a firm base, though the lightness might be an issue if it's windy and you intend to leave the camera running on its own. At this price point there's certainly no complaints, you get a lot for your money.

Firstly I should say that I bought this for my sister's birthday. Her requirements for a "perfect tripod" was that it needed to be light and compact but extends to a good height. After browsing the depths of Amazon for something that would fit the bill, I found and ordered this item. After she opened it I had a good look and play around with it.First impression was that it was VERY light. Even though the description says it weighs 660g, the weight mentioned on the box is significantly less. I did not get the opportunity to verify it's weight as I have a distinct lack of scales... The pan head worked smoothly and the spirit level was easy to see even with a camera mounted (it would have been nice to have a 2-axis one though).Leg deployment was as easy as pulling up the "clip", pulling down the legs and pushing the clip back in. However, the legs almost feel flexible which brings up the question of the tripods durability. The height to which it extends to is impressive and certainly a winner with my happy sister. It also seems stable with a camera on top. As a bonus, it comes with a drawstring bag to carry it around in, but you could easily fit it into a rucksack.Overall, a good and fully functional tripod but to me it feels a bit too light and flimsy (hence only 4 stars). You get what you pays for, I suppose! If you're looking for something light and compact then this is for you.

Well what can I say - it light , it was cheap , its compact, its very light, its very cheap, HOWEVER having had a few tripods in my time - some of them sturdy enough to use to Jack up a truck ( I exaggerate but you get my drift) ... THIS ONE is quite sturdily made and holds my camcorder steady it even has a bubble level and pans and tilts and locks and all in all is a great tripod - it feels like it weighs NOTHING and yet is a steady tripod when you use it. When its packed away it is also just over a foot long 31cm- so its the same length as a SUBWAY sandwich and comes in its own bagThis is a superb tripod for days out , holidays , rucksack, large carry bags, the beach , walks ,hobbies - BECAUSE YOU WILL TAKE THIS ONE WITH YOU AND USE IT ALL THE TIME BECAUSE ITS SO LIGHT. BUY ONEPS I'm not a plugger I have nothing to do with the company I just wanted to write this review because theyve done a great job of making a light tripod that is light enough but firm enough to be very useful and got it to pack away small. If it was £29.95 it would be worth it for the usability size and weight but its a BARGAIN PRICE

This is a cheap tripod, and it's one purpose: hold your camera still. It does this very well. It's also very sturdy relative to it's size, not enough to be left unattended outdoors unless you add extra weight to the central pole or legs.Anyone looking for more advanced functions, this obviously is not the choice for you.Pros:Size and weight: Folded up, this tripod is around 40cm long, and will fit easily into your backpack.Removable head: The head is removable, and you can add oil or silicone to the head mount for smooth horizontal pans. This is a feature more expensive tripods miss.Cons:Mine has a slight issue with the platform that the camera is attached to.When tightening the screw that fixes the platform in a level position, it tilts the platform, and the camera. I have to compensate for this by shortening one of the legs. Might not be a design problem, just a my unit, but it's an annoying issue nontheless.Length: It's not too tall, coming up to about 110cm. This, however, is clearly stated and shouldn't be a surprise to anybody. For this price, it's fine, will do the job.

Going to write an honest review on this as I'm sure a lot of people interested are wondering if this is any good.Well for a start it was a quick delivery but that's not on the products end, that's Amazons...It is very light, not sure exactly how light but very! :)I use this for my digital camera (I would never trust an SLR with this...)and it has worked perfectly so far. you can adjust the top bit where the camera stands up, down and tilt it around which is very useful (particularly when you are filming something. To extend it, you must un clip 4 pegs on the legs and pull them down (Like on a crutch). I personally found this annoying as the pegs are made out of plastic and can easily snap off. That being said, you can simply slot them back in...So overall, for a camera which is around up to £150 and is small i would trust, but anything bigger than that is not worth taking the risk. Oh and it comes in a travel bag for taking it aroundPlease comment if you need me to specify anything, i would be happy to help. Cheers :)

Good value tripod, served me well for 1-2 years until one of the legs broke. The legs are quite slim & don't feel as sturdy as other tripods (which is why it has lost a star). The tripod does however stand very tall when extended fully & takes excellent photos.Other pros, lightweight, collapses in to a very small (what I consider handbag size). Durable- used in all terrains wet, dry, rocky, beach & dine lots of travel miles. Only after heavy use did this tripod break. One of the clips stopped working & the leg wouldn't fully extend. Based on the use of the tripod id say this was more wear & tear than a reflection on the product.Overall I was really pleased with this tripod. I used it reliably with my DSKR,and only upgraded to a heavier duty one because it got so much use. These are a great option for travelling though, they fit in hand luggage & come in a little bag, ideal.

This tripod is quite small and very light but still offers sufficient height and sturdiness for basic photography. I'm 165cm tall and it reaches slightly above my belly and it is still fine holding the Nikon D40 with 18-55mm lens. You have to bend or stand on your knees to see from the viewfinder. More than 900 grams camera cannot be handled well especially for night photography. You may compensate this by fully retracting the feet to its basic length which gives much more strength. You can easily attach your camera to the head and it allows you to move the camera towards all direction as the professional tripod does. Portrait or vertical shoot cannot be very up right and firm for DSLR,but for pocket cameras I'm sure it will be better. If you do not use tripod frequently and avoid heavy stuffs then this beautiful Konig Traveller Tripod is the right choice.

I purchased this product back in 2012. It is still holding up and it still just as fantastic as it was 3 years ago.Starting with the packaging, the tripod arrived in a cardboard box with a small plastic bag that encased the tripod itself. The bag allows the tripod to be stored and provides minimal protection, but keeps it nice and tidy. The tripod itself is excellent for the cost. It extends to a pretty good height and is very stable when done so. It is very easy to extend, and can be done so by just undoing a few clips and pulling the legs out. A camera can then be screwed into the top. Once the camera is on, the handle can be twisted along with a screw to manipulate the cameras direction.Once on the spirit levels can be used to ensure the camera is level.Overall,a very nice product, good design and very functional.

The 'Konig Traveller Tripod' when it arrived, was packaged very well and was delivered 4 days before the estimated delivery date, which was great. I would definitely recommend this product to anybody that would like a small and compact but very useful tripod for their camera, it also comes with a carry case. It is very sturdy - for example, with my camera being a Canon SLR, it's quite heavy, so I was worried it would be too heavy for such a lightweight tripod, but in fact it holds the camera very well and I trust the tripod not to fall over. It has a dial on it which is really useful when trying to get the camera even and straight when taking a still image. Overall,I am very pleased with the product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any photographer needing a lightweight, easy to carry tripod.

Purchased this on a whim as I wanted a tripod to do some time lapse photography. I read the reviews and decided that this would do the trick. Ive used it on a couple of occasions now and it does everything I need. Its small enough at its least extended that it fits on a windowsill and plenty tall enough at its most extended to do what I want. Of course if you need to look down the viewfinder you're going to need to crouch somewhat but if that's your intention you will want a larger one. I was happy to simply use the screen to set up my shots. It has a handle to maneuver the camera and level to ensure your image is perfectly lined up.It folds away nice and compact and comes with a carry bag.It fit perfectly in my back pack and in my motorcycle top box.

I was looking for a tripod for my projector, but I didn't want something big and bulky... my search criteria was "quality, quantity and portability"... I wanted a quality item, that could hold a reasonable quantity (weight) and something that was ultra portable.Throughout the years I learned that if you seek, you shall find :). After going through various other tripods, I put my money on this... and I have to say... it has not let me down. My projector is an "Optoma ML500" and weighs around 1.2 KGs. This tripod holds it well! The grip is solid and at any height (you can adjust the height of the tripod to your liking), the projector remains firmly stable. This item is GREAT value for money...and should not be underestimated.

I recently bought a compact system camera for my Europe trip and I wanted a lightweight tripod to go with with and this one is perfect. First It's only £8, which seems like too little for the product you get. It's very well made and looks sturdy but is very light about half a kilo and its around 40 cm when folded and easily fits an an average-sized backpack. All the knobs and flaps on the tripod and sturdy and shouldn't break too easily and it covers all axes of movement (tilt up/down 180 degrees, rotate 360 degrees, and tilt right 90 degrees (for portraits)), It comes with a handy carry pouch so you can hand it off your bag if you want, like me.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tripod they can travel with.

I can't understand how they do this at the price - it was £7.50 when I bought it end November 2014, reduced from £9 (current price January 2015). Lightweight but steady, built in level, hotshoe, fast to deploy and compact when folded. Perfect for occasional use or when light weight is important (as in "Traveller Tripod"). Not very solid when fully extended due to thin, flexible final extension legs but as I don't use it fully extended that isn't an issue for me. I've used it intensively for several weeks and no problems with it at all. Don't expect it to be as solid as a heavy, expensive tripod and you won't be disappointed, because in every other respect it's brilliant.

It's actually better than I expected having read the reviews. Perfect for my med-size Canon SX200 compact and Kodak Zi8 video. Weighs virtually nothing, looks and seems a quality build. Not used yet, so just going on what my eyes tell me. Hope it works as well in practice. In its un-extended form it's perfect for mounting on table tops, etc, for macro work or family group shots. I expect to have this with me quite a lot. The height is a little low compared to normal tripods, but if the legs are not set at full width, it's seems OK for me without too much bending down...and I'm 6ft. Oh...and the screw on mine is metal, not plastic as another reviewer mentioned.
