If you are a serious photographer, you will need a serious tripod, big and heavy. If (like me) you occasionally want to take group shots of family and friends, perhaps while dining, with either your phone camera or something a little heavier - then this seems perfect.I'd stress that I've only looked at and played with it as yet, not used it in a 'real' setting. Here's what I found: I can understand other reviewers commenting the legs didn't lock, were fiddly, or it was unstable. The instruction label on the legs and the instruction leaflet appear to be WRONG!On mine, the legs lock by turning to the LEFT not to the right as per the instuctions. (left to lock) When this is practiced, the unit is amazingly stable for something of it's height and light weigh.Perfect if you're frustrated by waving selfie sticks around, and just want somewhere to rest your phone for group shots by remote control. (and without getting half your arm in the shot)As with all phone mounts of this type, beware the clamp isn't so positioned as to press on the phone on/off button when assembling, and reboot your phone!I also tried it with a Fuji HS20 bridge camera (780g), and within say, 25 degrees or so of an upright position - it worked absolutely fine. (that's probably more than needed to frame an ordinary shot)The nearer you increase it to 45 degrees, of course you get slippage caused by the camera weight. What would you expect, the spigot is only 14mm in diameter.Naturally a lightweight phone has no such problem.Note that the camera screw plate is moveable to 90 / 180 degrees (landscape/portrait) you simply have to push it in against spring pressure whilst turning plate up/down.The Bluetooth connected to my Android 7 phone without problem (BT-4), though another quirk here - the bluetooth button doesn't have an ON position marked, so you have to work it out. With the 'camera graphic' on the press button pointed upward - move the slider to the LEFT. A tiny green LED flashes and then disappears. The unit is on. (I presume you should turn off after use to conserve the battery) Slide right to turn off. With the legs fully retracted, it's hard to imagine a more stable, yet also lightweight and portable, table top tripod giving a platform height of 27 cm. (you can use one or more leg extension to gain extra height too) That purpose alone could be worth the money. But it goes further, and with the legs extended offers a perfect height for dining and seated shots. And - unlike what appears to be the only other mid height lightweight option available that has a very small stand spread - is unlikely to get knocked flying when the dog wags his tail against it!It's by no means 'rigid' when the legs are extended, but unless it was engineered by NASA with their choice of expensive materials, how could it be?It is, after all, just over £20, compact and very portable, and as far as i can see, does the 'in between' job it was intended to do. (in between a selfie stick and a heavyweight tripod)Presumably you could also use it as a makeshift selfie stick by extending and holding the legs, and using the button.Happy snapping!

I'm a fairly established photographer and I still pick up cheap light-weight tripods whenever I need to because they're fantastic for travelling when the standard 55"+ tripods are too big for the accepted for overhead luggage sizes for air travel. So I ordered the tripod-set option of this because it was the perfect length between compact and functional as 40" is enough to go over most protective railings and walls. It has all standard tripod features- landscape and portrait are available via the pivot handle which also tightens to lock, the standard 1/4-20 thread is on a small quick release plate and can be pre-loaded, it also has 360 degree spin on the head and there's even a little circular spirit level for studio work and the likes. The phone cradle is also cool and I haven't used the bluetooth trigger but that's always a nice little extra if you're shooting on your phone or have a bluetooth compatible DSLR.The only drawbacks I can find is that it has the age-old annoyance of being unstable and easy to topple to one side when loaded super low to the ground in portrait mode, although it does stand upright with my heavy full frame DSLR loaded so it does better than most small tripods. And the legs can get stuck when collapsing sometimes so it's not as instantly collapsible as I expected but it's a minor issue when you consider just how many features this thing has packed into a 40 inch body that weighs less than my phone.

I have recently decided on embarking on being a content creator and this tripod has been a God send. I work during the day so taking pictures with this has been really helpful as I do not have a photographer. I use the tripod with my iPhone 7 (attachment included in purchase] and my Sony a5000 camera. Both have worked perfectly.ProsIt’s small enough to fit in my bag, work draw or hold in my hand comfortably.Easy to setupSturdyThe remote is a huge bonus. (Connected easily)Legs can be locked at a “short” height therefore can be use on a table topTravels wellConsThe height could be better but that could be to me being 5”11 so I have to be creative with angles/positioningThe neck could have extended too.Similar to how the legs retract would’ve of been great. In conclusion this is been a great addition, I have workarounds so the cons aren’t so important. I’ve just put the legs closer together so it higher; weather permitting. Would recommend and very happy with my purchase.

I thought the principle of this little tripod was superb so ordered it and haven't been disappointed. It feels much more sturdy than most of the cheaper tripods plus has the bonus of being able to support a camera or a phone with the included adapters. It also had a remote control included but I haven't tested this with my phone as yet but it should permit you to take photos when you mount your phone on the tripod and not have the typical phone shake. One snag is that my phone is very unlikely to fit due to its size. I'm probably not going to use it for a phone but if I do I'll have to look at finding a larger adapter for a tripod. This is the only negative I found with the included bag that takes the whole package doing the job pretty well.Happy to recommend as from brief use I couldn't find anything wrong with it and it did exactly what I needed.

I dithered over this lighter model or the heavier newer version but am very happy with the lighter. It is much better made than I expected, the legs locking well and are stable. I want it for an iPhone, but it would easily cope with a small camera. Points to note: The legs click lock each when fully extended so can't be locked at an intermediate length for levelling. The "head" is all plastic but quite robust. I have unscrewed the phone holder, and removed one of the two springs to reduce pressure on a Max size iPhone - a simple procedure. For travel where the light weight and small size is important this is superb. The bluetooth shutter release works very well, (and has an on/off switch)so all in all this is quite brilliant.

Really impressed by this. Wanted to have it for a holiday in the wilds where no one would be about to take a photo of the entire family for us.I wouldn't trust it with anything heavier than my phone but for the phone it's ideal.Bluetooth doofer works great and from a canny distance and the connector for the phone is reassuringly stable.Great at its shortest on a table or at its tallest from a distance. One down side is if the tripod is on wonky ground, you can only straighten it from one side meaning you sometimes have to take out phone and turn it around so the correct adjustment can be made.Folds down small and carry case is nice too.On the cheap side but does feel like it'll do what I wantfor a while at least.

I have always used an SLR and large tripods. Over the years the weight seemed to put pressure on my spine.Fast forward and the damage has been severe and I’m left with chronic pain in my back. That’s why I’m nowusing light equipment. If I shoot TIFF on my iPhone 7, the quality is just fine. This unit is great for the price.Anyone complaining about the quality...at this price...is just weird! I like it and I’m looking forward to creatingmy beautiful long exposure photography again. The shutter switch works with one app I have but only ‘turnsthe volume’ up on camera pro! It’s clearly not possible to make a device that will work with each app.I’m justhappy to have a system that is compact and light.

I was looking for a lightweight tripod that can be used especially when I travel. Then I found this travel tripod which was on my looking price tag as well as perfect for my needs, It is really compact built but strong enough for hold my mirrorless camera (Sony a6300) & also I can use it with my mobile phone. Packaging came with a Bluetooth shutter remote for mobile phone, quick release plate, Mobile phone holder, carry case and a GoPro mount which is handy to have. My Samsung S7 edge perfectly fits with this. Thanks to the ball head it can be rotated easily in both up & down and full 360 rotation. I would say this is a perfect tool for travel photography.

I am very impressed with this little tripod. Regretfully it can't hold the weight of my dslr but I didn't expect it to. This tripod fits in my bag or even my internal coat poket with no problems and can hold my phone (iphone 6 plus) or my mirrorless compact Sony with no problem. If your a fan of instagram or couples shots and want something better then a selfi stick this is for you. I often put my phone on it and use my selfi remote for holiday pics with my girlfriend. My next holiday will evolve using this with a Cannon G7x mark II. But I am confident it will perform fine.Note: for my dslr I have a full size tripod but only carry it when I have to.

Not a penny wasted on this product!! I used this product with my Sony RX100iii. I love how lightweight it is and that it can fit in my bag. Although, I have to say that when you try to stretch it to it’s full length it does get a bit flimsy. I understand the stability is compromised because they want to make the product travel-friendly. I have also noticed that when I try to put it back to it original size the legs get stuck sometimes and it can get a bit tricky because I didn’t want to put much force, afraid that I might break one of it’s legs. But hey, it still does the job and I eventually found a technique that works when I close the tripod!

On first impressions I like this tripod. For the money I paid, it's a good product. It has a little bit of weight to it but not too heavy if you want to carry it around with you. It's of a good size once collapsed and can easily fit inside a rucksack/ larger bag. The shorter you stand the tripod the sturdier it is, gets a little flimsy once fully extended but not too the point that I think it would fall over. The Bluetooth dongle connected to my phone (Google Pixel) straight away and works like a charm. Overall so far I am happy with this tripod and I'm looking forward to using it whilst out and about.

I thought the idea was very good. It holds itself quite well but is a little on the flimsy side, which is a trade off for protability. I took it for a spin on a trip and it was very usefu. The bluetooth hob included is small and easy to hide. I kept it hidden in my jacket pocket or placed t my hand behind other subjects in my photo and wala it looks like someone took your photo, but properly framed and without the blurry images. It held my S7 edge well but I had to remove my flip case. If you have a phone case that only covers the back it will fit this product. Overall good for the price.

The tripod is great as an easy to carry item. It telescopes down to a small size for carrying in a bag, etc. The telescopic legs material strength wise seem a bit stronger than say a radio antenna. The stand camera mounting can rotate 360 degrees and also pivot up and down along the vertical axis. The only fault I would say is that you cannot adjust the horizontal axis from the camera mounting to have a level horizon on the picture. The only way to achieve that is to adjust the tripod leg angle to adjust the whole stand. The Bluetooth remote works fine with the iPhone 7. Overall 4 stars.

Absolutely AWESOME! Bought this specifically for our trip to Paris, and boy did it not let us down. We had looks of envy from people with selfie sticks, who weren't able to just quite capture the shot they wanted. I really could not rave about this product anymore, other to say that it was so easy to use, carry around the whole of Paris, with the final pictures so wonderful. This really completed our holiday, I could not imagine being on a holiday without it now! Cannot wait to take it to Spain and Brussels in a few weeks to see what we can capture, a must buy for anyone!

This Camera Tripod is worth while. I bought it for my daughters Phone, when she make films, shorts and fotos for fun, but its actually worth every penny ! Its well constructed, comes with a pouch and a phone adapter. The legs are made with extra locking by using steel balls locking each leg segment into place. The springs pushing at the balls seems very sturdy and hard, as the balls are not easily pushed inside when you are to shorten them again.I think its great , if you are looking for this kind of a product, and I would happily, recommend it for just anyone.
