This was ordered for Holly the Wonderdog, our nine year old Jack Russell Terrier. She is a bit of a nervous passenger, and doesn’t like traveling in a car unless she’s safely snuggled into a comforting crate or carrier. We did have a plastic carrier before, but it has seen better days and is starting to fall to bits. Although it has served us well, I wont be mourning it, as it was a nightmare to store, as it didn’t fold down. This is the polar opposite. It’s neat, slick, and very tough! It arrives flat packed in a box, and the only assembly required is to simply fold it out and clip the bars in. Simple.Inside there’s a nice plush mat for your pooch to sit on. Because it’s mesh on three sides, there is plenty ventilation, and plenty room for your pet to look out. There is a storage pocket on the roof, and a further removable storage pouch on the end. There are three ‘doors’, which are all zipper operated, a small one on the roof, one at the end, and one on the side – these have velcro straps/tabs for stowing them in an open position (handy if you’re using this as a ‘travel bed’ for your pet, or if you want to leave it open for them to explore and get used to before using it.The material is a thick, strong canvas, and the mesh is a very tough woven mesh. This will obviously not stand up to too much scratching, but should withstand a lot.At just over £20 for the small one, this is a great price for a very good quality product. Clearly the larger ones are more expensive, but that’s natural. My dog loves it – she’s been sitting in it quite comfortably since it arrived.Holly is a JRT, and she’s probably about the largest dog I’d put in there – so anything smaller would be fine, but you’re not going to have much room for anything bigger.Great purchase, and very happy with it.

Got the large 70x52x52 - fits golf mk7 and clio (see pic), though clio boot is deep so bit difficult to get dog in, but possible- that's the cars fault though, side zip allows alternative access than that shown in clio pic. Mk 7 golf is perfect for it, as would any boot where the floor is level with opening. It's for a Brittany (same size as spaniel) - she finds it comfortable. Had similar thing when she was younger and the dogs impatience destroyed it pretty quick - this one looks robust enough but the dog is now 12 and doesn't paw to get out.Best thing about these is the mesh netting keeps the hairs from floating around too much.I like the folding action, can store it in hotpress when not using.Although these things, regardless of brand, are called 'carrier's' - I wouldn't wanna try loading dog into it then put in boot -that would strain the product and yourself, my dog is 17kg and although I think it would prob hold I reckon she would strain the zips and stiching so I don't wanna try it.Best too put a protective sheet over boot lip and let the dog go in itself or lift dog up into crate, in her younger days she had no probs hoping into a crate like this.Almost two years on and still love this - my dog is old and needs lifted into boot so doesn't paw at it - hence why it is still in great condition. It has done an excellent job at keeping car clean. Folding action has allowed me to store it in boot under false shelf with the spare wheel. Super handy for leaving the car at rugby club or local bar and walking dog to collect car next day etc.

I bought this for transporting two kittens for which there is ample space to do this. It is a nice thick material and looks good in its full black colour. The addition of the pockets was an excellent idea; they are so useful. I can keep medication safe for the journey home or fit my purse in so I don't need to carry a handbag with me.The poles for securing it in the open position are easy to use and it keeps the carrier rigid. It folds down easily and is an ideal size for storing almost flat. That is the reason for choosing this carrier as I have such limited space for storage.I like this so much I have bought a second one to use when the kittens are large enough to need separate carriers for transporting together. The second one cream and black and looks great too.The only concern I have, which is why the review dropped to 4 stars, is the mesh door and windows seem a bit flimsy. I am worried about them chewing or clawing their way through it. The mesh is not as thick and strong as I expected it to be given how important it is. They have been transported together in it twice now and have not damaged the mesh so far. It is a worry, though, I must admit. But I needed a collapsible carrier and this was the best available.

The carrier arrived this morning, and I was going to give it five stars because the metal structure seemed sturdy, it is very roomy for one cat ( the medium size,) and could maybe take two smallish cats, and, most importantly, Tuffy went inside it straight away. However, on closer examination it is not as sturdy as I first thought as the floor under the fleece is the same soft material as the rest of the carrier. I was expecting some reinforcement- maybe a thin board or plastic tray. Oh dear. It seems very possible that the fabric could stretch and sag. Even pressing my fingers into the fabric creates a sensation and appesrance that it is stretching so I wouldn't risk the carrier for a cat that was determined to scratch its way out.I am amazed that this is being sold in larger sizes for even heavier animals. I think it eould make a nice pet pen in a caravan, or if you are going to carry it only a few yards, or if your pet is not likely to claw the fabric. Sadly, I will have to award only three stars, and will probably send it backUPDATE. By end of this afternoon all three cats are dozing together in the garden in the open carrier. They love it as a den. Upgrade to 4 stars! It's a keeper!!

Got 2 of these now, great space savers for storage, very spacious, lightweight & comfy for cat (i have large for big boy maine coon and medium for fat cat moggy) Put blanket over if the vets are full of dogs. Will help to minimise / de-stress poor cats lol.* UPDATE* OCT 2020.I cant recall when I ordered but nearly 2 years ago....* customer service is exceptional, very responding and professional. I had a minor fault with 1 of the 2 carriers I ordered but I have had it a while. The company replaced and in record speed. I cannot recommend them more highly. My big boy, Maine Coon was very, very poorly at my local vet then Royal Veterinary College, so this cage also doubled up as a bed which they still (got 3 cats)choose to sleep in still. It is very portable for the car, strong, very easily cleaned as removable liner, less stressful as it is airy, it has pockets for vet paperwork, even RVC vets commented. My boy is nearly 9 kg so he could lie flat out, very relaxed but sit upright too. If like me your animals are your babies (I have 3 kids + 3 cats!) then I think this is a brilliant choice. Xx

Would give 5 stars if better zips and stronger mesh.. however fantastic value for money. Our dog is a jug and was a good size for her, smaller then her usual crate but use this for car journeys, going on holiday and having her at work. She is a dog who has been crated since 12 weeks (now a year old) so is happiest in a crate at night, this said the first time she went in she could have easily torn through it straight away and did put her claws into mesh but was told no so we spent the first week or so with her able to go in and out as she pleased and trialled her in it which worked for us and she's happy in it now. I would recommend using with a quiet dog who is used to crates or not going to try and get out because with a bit of effort I think they'd break out easily.I have been careful with zips from seeing complaints about them in reviews before I got this but they're fine as long as you're not rough with them. Overall would definitely recommend as a temporary crate or for a placid dog (or a very lively one like we have who is comfortable crated). Great value for money! :)

Pleased to say I am delighted with this carrier. It is solid in construction, and looks heavier than it actually is. The assembly is a single step that takes some 10 seconds. A lot of thought has gone into the design:-- lightweight metal tube framing (no plastic), and no sharp edges found.-Sturdy loops for car seat belt anchoring- 3 points of entry - side, front and top c/w velcro tabs to hold accesses open and metal clasps to hold sturdy zips shut. The mesh screens are tough and should stand up to most clawing attempts.- sand coloured material is tough and good looking as are the carry handles- 2 storage bags in matching material one fixed to the top, the other, detachable,in clips on the back panel.A faux sheepskin snuggle mat is included.I bought this item for a puppy through to adult dog travelling in the car. Overall the carrier is good quality and looks it!Disadvantage? No none - but I may fit a thin plywood or hardboard base later as the dogs weight increases (strong hint to manufacturer!)Yes it is expensive but does represent good quality.

Bought this for the back seat of our car to transport our terrier mix. She’s about the size of a smallish Jack Russel. Really impressed by the quality and how sturdy the box is, although unless you’re really tall with long arms I wouldn’t try carrying it around with a pup inside, despite the handles anything this size is going to be a bit cumbersome. We followed the suggested size and ordered the 60cm length. Should have paid more attention in school as it’s actually huge, takes up the majority of a back seat in a Ford Kuga (quite a big car!) and our pup is a bit lost in it. My suggestion for anyone buying this is to not be dumb like me and take a tape measure out before buying it as opposed to assuming the sizing table is accurate. Can’t fault the quality, delivery time or the look of the item though. Definitely looks like it costs a lot more and the little bag and pocket to store bowls, food, bags etc is genius! Will be buying the 50cm length one and donating this to my dad who has a much bigger pup.

Delivery was a slow, but the product itself is very good. This is a review of the largest model (70x52x52). It's very sturdy when assembled and folds flat enough to hide behind a door. It has a couple of extra pouches for what-nots and a good fleecy carpet which is plastic backed. Not sure if that is machine washable, probably not but that isn't an issue for me.I'm using it for a single cat (long story) and size wise you could probably fit four cats in or 12 if you stack them. It's really spacious and wide. I'm fabricating some privacy covers which is something I'd have liked to have seen offered as an option. No idea if dogs need that in the way cats do.The mesh looks slightly tougher than the mesh on a previous fabric cat carrier. That mesh was strong enough although the cat did make a few small holes, so I'm optimistic about this mesh.It feels high quality, the clips to hold it folded for example are a nice touch.

Actually very surprised with this. I am moving and need a carrier so my cat didn't try and climb all over the place when driving, while it's funny and kind of cute to begin with the constant risk to myself and other motorists ruins any enjoyment pretty quick. Had read the reviews and, as I didn't immediately see any comments that warranted caution, went ahead and ordered. It came really quick and was incredibly simple to erect. The structure it's sturdy and clamps together with simple 'snap back connectors' between poles. Most sides have zipped mesh windows that can be rolled up. The material seems strong and well put together. The carrier also features multiple pockets that are a niceaddition.Subject to my actual move I'm very happy and would definitely recommend if I were to ever have a conversation with another about moving a cat and the merits of having a suitable carrier.

I would start off by saying if you have a puppy or a dog that likes to bite, chew or scratch anything like this I would not buy it. Its pretty sturdy but it would not hold up to consistent abuse of that variety.Pros - Good quality, comes with accessory bag, has two different doors and the roof opens. The poles are nice and sturdy.Cons - Not good for biters, bed that comes with is very flimsy and cheap I had to replace with a better option. Wish the door opened at both ends due to positioning of the crate in my house but thats me being really picky. The small option is definitely better for cats or really small breeds like chihuahuas or teacup yorkies. I thought as my dog was a chihuahua mix (5.6kg)she would fit but she's a bit too tall especially after I added the new bed to make it comfy. Overall great quality cage and even better I got a use one so it was even cheaper.

Whilst this product is actually a dog carrier I bought it for my beautiful cat who will be undertaking a journey of about eight hours all being well. Knowing that I didn’t want her cramping up whilst travelling and yet not being able to have her to respond to commands like a well trained dog, I desired space and comfort for her to make the journey as stress less as possible. The item is beautifully constructed, exactly as described and looks good. I think the price was very fair and I am delighted to recommend this product to any pet owner who like me will be travelling for many miles. I am very pleased that I bought this seller’s product and I honestly can’t find anything to fault on first inspection.I also have no reason to doubt that it will travel well, stand up to the use it will be given and offer comfort and space to my beloved fur baby Molly. Thank you seller.

When I bought this item, I spent a while trying to decide which size to get so I thought I would leave a review saying that for 2 cats, the M size is definitely big enough.I have 2 big male cats, with a combined weight of about 9.5kg (so they are nearly 5kg each) and they had plenty of room in the carrier to both lie down comfortably. Even though the carrier was actually a bit too big really, I wouldn’t have got a size down as I’d rather there be plenty of room. The carrier felt sturdy and I wasn’t worried that it would come apart at all when I was carrying my boys. I could also unzip one of the sides ever so slightly to put my hand into the carrier to give treats and stroke my cats to reassure them (as no pet likes a trip to the vets!)I would definitely recommend this carrier.I can see it being used for years to come.

I bought this to use as a travel crate. Very easy to set up and fit in the back of the car. We travelled from the Isle of Man to the UK to collect our puppy. Our puppy used it on the ferry home (in the cabin) and then in the car. She slept in it for the first few nights before we got her a metal crate. I just felt that she could chew through the fabric (which she never has)Hubby and I have swapped it between our cars regularly, with ease as it is light to carry. It is in use everyday. We live near the sea and drive down to the beach daily so it gets full of sand.Poppy is nearly 6 months old now so has just about outgrown it.After a good wash, I’m going to donate it as it is excellent condition, still, with many years of use left. All in all, I would highly recommend this fabric crate.

As described, very good product, bought for a cat to have more space to move around on long trips.Mesh window isn't very strong, my cat is unlikely to attack it so it's ok for me, but a determined cat or dog could break free quite easily. It would depend on their personality, I definitely wouldn't want my cat running round the car though if it escaped.Well built apart from that and easy to fold flat.It is quite heavy (but I bought the very largest version). although a small thing, a version with the same floor area but less height would be have been ideal for my cat (the excess height is not needed). The largest version only just fits in my car (which is a large car) on the back seats.Ideally a longer, but less wide product would have been more suitable.
