While cloud services like Dropbox and OneDrive are great for making your documents mobile, there are still times when a USB drive can be handy to share files with others. Since I'll be enrolling as a student (again) soon, a good hardy drive is an obvious purchase. And I'll confess, I do really like this product a lot. It's light, bright, transfers files as fast as you'll ever need and, significantly, has an end cap. But is it perfect? I'm really not so sure. This JetFlash has the same design flaw as the previous generation, in that the circuit board is protected ONLY by the silicone housing. There is nothing else between the two. I cannot understand why Transcend have taken this route, because it makes the drive susceptible to being bent with considerable ease. Circuit boards aren't supposed to bend...There is some consolation in the shock absorption of the device, but then I would assume that most USB drives would survive being dropped from various heights. So far, the drive has remained intact and works perfectly, but the lack of internal protection is concerning when you take the stick out and about.

It holds so many films without failing thus far. The only thing i'd add is that it should have had a easily attached cover - either a sliding one or detachable but still stuck to the appendage type instead of the on-off cap cover - which I've since lost. Anyway, enough negativity... It's robust, sturdy, doesn't have an internal flashing light indicating the drive has been found, no password needed - just insert and go. I don't need to passcode my flash drives as they only contain films - innocuous ones mind! Ha! Another reason I chose this was because Transcend fared in the top 3 of flash drives for 2013 so we'll see how long this lasts... update on it's performance later on in the year.

I've never been a big fan of Transcend's USBs - they always feel like they are on the verge of snapping in two. But this one bucks the trend. It feels a bit more durable than other Transcend USBs and it also is easy to grip. This is a very handy product to carry around - USB 3.0 means good transfer speeds (if the connecting device is compliant), and 64GB memory means sufficient storage space for work or media files.Only concern, the cap feels like it might come off at any point. If this doesn't concern you too much, go for this product. The USB itself is well worth the price.

Like the rest of Transcend's usb thumbdrives, this is fast, good quality and feels well built. My only complaint is that, like their older rubberized thumbdrives, the cap doesn't feel likely to stay in place: it slides off very easily and will, I suspect, one day get irretrievably lost. I would rather see a cap that is more securely tethered to the device. But that's arguably a minor concern...

Arrived via Amazon France to southern Finland. Wanted mainly to back up my music, but had some space left over for Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoints and pictures, but no videos. It took less than 10 minutes to just transfer the whole E-drive, via a USB 2.0 on the hard drive, around 23GB. Feels sturdy. 6.5 cm long with the cap on, 6cm ex-cap. Does... says... tin.

I'm very happy with my purchase. The product arrived quickly and was very well wrapped. It works perfectly well and is very quick to be recognised by my laptop and by my computer at work. The files I want to open or copy are read / transfered way quicker than any USB stick I had previously owned. Good buy!

A good price for 32 GB of storage to back up important files or move them about. I have put my important files on mine and then pop it in the safe. Just overwrite and add to periodically....just in case.

an excellent product. only one design flaw. the cap has no attachment to the body so i have already lost it and now it is not such a rugged product and the usb input is exposed.

Not much to say except that it works very well. Transcend are my go to supplier for USB flash memory and this was bought to replace smaller capacity USB 2.0 devices.
