I need this as an upgrade of my old Transcend USB 2.0 card reader fora serious Raspberry Pi Project, where I need to extract entire microSD OS images.Hence I need a fast, reliable card-reader. This does the job and I love the fact thatit has the cable which is convenient. I mean unlike other card readers (including my old one)which looks like USB flash drive, they are quite large and awkward sometimes to use ifsomething is populated next to the USB port.Of course I need this to quickly extract video clips shot in my NIKON camera for myYoutube Channel: The Linux ChannelGo to YouTube & see it by yourself!(Have uploaded the thumbnail poster)Video:21a Unboxing & Performance Tests | USB 3.1 multicard

I have purchased this 6 month ago, regularly using, working nice, fast transfer of JPEG’s and raw photos on windows and Mac, first time I have done recovery of cr2 file, when I have formatted the card on camera 2 times, and found that I have not copied the files on computer, it’s awesome, and the recovery is very simple and free of cost.Thank you for saving my life(and money too), as this was an event shoot, and I didn’t have any back up of the photos. I was so much tensed, before final recovery.

Good product, especially if you are using high end SD/CF cards which are expensive - much safer and more reliable than cheaper unbranded Chinese knockoffs. The modular design is also nice, much more rugged and you can replace the cable if it goes bad. The speed is good too, and it works with Windows out of the box with no extra drivers required.Overall, a very good buy.

works great !!! really a good product to have and with a 3year warranty you cant go wrongUpdate: uhsII CARD buyers stay away from it as this just sucks in copying from uhsii cards so at current scenario investing in a better uhsII card reader would be better so ended buying Sony MRW-S1 and it works great on all cards

It was good decision to buy this product.The main advantage of this mic is, its stereo recorder and also have .wav file options with different bandwidth according to your requirements ❤️Love the product and recommend to buy.One time investment.

A great buy. I'm using it to transfer HiResolution DSLR Images to my PC. The speed is just awesome. Don't have to connect the camera directly anymore. The build quality of this device is also good. No need to search anymore card readers. this is the best.I just wished it had USB C type connectivity.

Love this card reader i am getting amazing speeds with thisMine sd card support approx 90mbps reading speed and i am getting 87 mbps speed with this card reader and 60 mbps write speedAnd this speed is constant no fluctuations ♥️♥️

I purchased this because due to windows 10 update my camera CF card won't read directly from camera with software. Had to use it through this reader. It served it's purpose. Works as described. Satisfied with purhcase.

Item is costly, but working perfectly getting good speed and good build quality.Use high speed memory card for best performance like SanDisk extreme pro.Speed is better than 2.0 readers, but still it's costly.

I like this product because the transfer rate is amazing bought it for a friend the only difference to the first generation is it is missing one slot for Sony memory cards which l don't think exist anymore

We have tried numerous card readers in the past. I have one of these that has been working nicely (trust wood) for years. When we needed a second, this was the only one I would trust.

This is the best card reader which I have ever bought .Tho its a little bit expensive but it transfers really fast and it's quite durable.
