So I do a lot of hillwalking in the Highlands [Munros] and my old boots have completely lost their sole and waterproofing. Having bought Berghaus for my last 3 pairs of boots, they all failed within a couple of months at being watertight. Seen these North Face boots and bought on a whimm and with reading a few reviews on here. What can I say, as soon as they came, out of the box, put them on with a normal pait of socks and took of on a quick 8 mile hillwalk to see how they were. Fitting was perfect for my size, no rubbing, blisters, etc, just pure comfort. Plenty enough room in them at the toes so as not to hurt your nails on the way down where other boots can hurt and also plenty room in these North Face ones as easy accomodate "thick /

Had these Boots now for about a year. But because I have previously bought a cheaper brand 3 times and I never lasted long before failing so I thought I would pay a little bit more and for a better known name. I originally paid £110 for mine and whilst probably a little bit steep they are already superior quality to Boots I have had in the past. Very comfortable straight out of the box and they also look extremely smart. Several mentions of poor waterproof capability however I find them more than adequate. I am an avid hiker in all terrain and extreme weathers and haven't suffered an issue with these Boots. I have trudged through heavy rain with 50 mph winds and stepped straight into puddles 3 inches deep.

I bought these after reading many online reviews, I had some Berghaus boots that I had owned for 10 years but they had finally gone on their last walk. The look of these is good, they have a nice style to them, they are more narrow than my Berghaus boots and at first this caused a little bit of discomfort, but I persevered and now they feel as they should, not too stiff, but sturdy enough that your ankles feel protected. They have great grip, I've covered all sorts of wet slippery surfaces and they have kept me upright. They are certainly waterproof, believe me hiking in the UK they have to be . They clean up well and still look as good as new.

First time i've purchased hiking boots , I looked at several brands and eventually settled on these. I went on the Fan Dance Challenge 29th Feb 2020 , storm Jorge met us head on ! These boots needed no breaking in but I did remove the thin insole and in its place use a thicker foam sole. The boots had very good grip and appeared to be water proof , comfortable and light weight . 6 hours of Brecon Beacons and I can say these boots proved to be excellent.

These arrived within two days and wasn't expected for at least 5... The boots are so comfortable and a great design.... I looked at loads of boots before purchasing and glad I did... Best boots I've ever had... By a million miles.... Let's hope I get that out of them ?UPDATE.... After using these for a couple of weeks now have found they are really slippery under foot.... Both on wet and frosty ground.... Just an issue which some would like to know

Arrived today on time first thing I noticed was the weight of the parcel I thought they had sent slippers they were that light, tried them on perfect fit, light and good ankle support and it was like walking on air, so I told my wife I would try them out and went to the pub, they were that fast I got an extra pint in. On a serious note they are the best boots I have ever owned and I have tried lots, they are not cheap but well worth every penny.

Size as expected, plenty of toe room, very lightweight.Vibram soles are fab: grippy, light and cushy, like standing on clouds!Needs a little more arch support, which is not really a big deal as it’s easy to find good half insoles with decent arch support around.Great ankle support for pronation.Fits wider feet perfectly.Will report back after wearing in rain etc.So far very pleased with the looks, quality and comfort.

Had these boots now for 2 and half weeks. Since then I've taken them out a three day hike through the Wicklow mountains, over rugged and sometimes wet terrain. As well as this I took them on a hiking holiday in La Palma. They've been extremely comfortable and from what I've experienced so far waterproof. I'll try keep this updated.

So far they have been great. Really light weight with a good grippy sole. Been out in all weathers and terrain and they are extremely waterproof.Had these boots for 12months now. Been up lots of uk mountains and hills and regular dog walks but both boots have started to leak in. Got 12 months out of them.

Purchased these for my husband & he loves them! He has gone through many a pair of walking boots but buy cheap pay twice as they say! Spending that little extra is well worth it. He tells me they are very comfortable and is very pleased with them.

Went off to the peak district for a weekend, they kept my feet dry in long wet grass and puddles. Didn't find any streams to test them out tho. Walked about 20 miles on all terrains. Didn't get any blisters or rubbing. Would recommend.

I wore these for hiking ben Nevis recently on a very wet and windy day. They kept the water out well and were very comfy without the need to "break them in". I can't fault them. I'm ex Army, and know a good boot when I wear one!

best boots ever, very happy with the quality and fit, been snowboarding took them in deep snow, rain etc and couldn’t ask for a better product. 150% recommended. Thank you NorthFace, you never let me down.

Nice style and features, but does run small. I’m a 8.5/9 normally, and as with most items of clothing it can be hit me miss getting it right. My feet just fit these in an 8.5 with normal socks.

These boots are lightweight, comfortable and very sturdy without restricting movement. Only worn them once on a short hike but 1st impression is they are well worth the money paid ?
