Perfect! Right out of the package they fit as expected. These are my first pair and I expect some growing pains as my feet adjust to the shoes, but so far I love them. I do have arthritis in my feet so I’m curious as to how the shoes will support. So with that said, so far so good. Delivery, size, fit, looks, comfort (so far), all 5 out of 5 stars... will update as I continue to use the shoes...A 10K, a 5K and a half marathon later, I can say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes. For trail running and mud runs these shoes have been the best. I didn’t slip at all and the grip is amazing on the tread. Even with caked mud I was still able to continue with plenty of grip. And running/wading through water,

Having always bought Salomon for trail and hiking shoes, I know to half-size up as they fit slightly small. Salomon generally are a good brand for daintier, slimmer feet. They are not known for being wide-fitting shoes.I got my first pair of Speedcrosses in 2015/16, and had about two years of use from them, however, the soles do wear flat quite quickly I have found - this current pair (the ones bought here) managed less than 6 months (probably only 250 miles walked?) before the tread was worn on the outer ball. As such an aggressively treaded shoe, you generally will find tread wears unequally in the areas you are heaviest (i.e. heel or toe walker).

I got these to take up running. The trainer's I had been using got gunked up really quickly, and there's a steep down nearby that gets slimy after rain, so I needed something with a little more bite.These are narrower than I usually get, but actually, surprisingly comfy. I have as concerned that they seemed quite stiff and inflwxiblex but it really hasn't been a problem.The bottoms are grippy as anything, but don't make it heavy going. They're excellent for the chalk hill I n ed to go down on my runs, and excellent on the soft wood chip part of the run too. Basically, I don't notice them at all.The laces take some getting used to. I also usually tuck the booble under the lace bar closest the toe,

I ordered a US 8. The company sent me an 8 1/2. I didn't realize it until after I had hiked in them. The 8 1/2 is slightly large on me. The 8 would have been perfect. (I normally wear an 8.) I'm disappointed I didn't catch the mistake in time to return them.The grip is great. I never slip.Since the shoe is a bit big, I do slide inside the shoes. If I pull the laces tight enough to hold my foot in place, it pinches across the top of my foot.The tread is great. You can't feel pointy rocks beneath your feet.So far the waterproof is great.The color is a bit more olive gray than what the online pictures looks like. The shoes don't match anything I wear, but who cares for outside.Easy to clean.Great shoe for walking,

I am so pleased with these shoes! They fit perfect for the size I always wear. There is plenty of room in the toes. I wear regular width. I have caluses on my soles (they look like warts but are not and hurt hard dress shoes) and have Raynaud's (my feet get vasospasms which stops circulation,they get pale and numb/painful with a chill or the cold). I was concerned that these shoes might be too hard and not solid enough to keep cold air out. No problem in either case. They were waterproof when I ran dirt trails with slushy snow in many areas. Although the outer solehas the blunt soccer shoe-like cleats for ice and snow, the good instep was supportive and comfortable. Worth every penny.

This is a fantastic shoe! I needed a waterproof, hiking/running shoe that was not big and clunky. This shoe is nicely snug and narrow enough for my feet. I'm a size 7.5 so I have average sized feet. I ordered an 8 in this as that is my best running shoe size. This shoe is very flexible, it is not stiff. The bottom tread was excellent for the traction I needed on wet trails. Gortex is perfect waterproof coverage. I did not have to "break" the shoe in. (no blisters!) I used them to hike around Ireland where it's wet and muddy and lots of steep terrain. I recommend this shoe for those types of outings!

I bought a size larger as I was playing sport in them and the feet get very hot and can swell a little plus I have quite wide feet. They fitted perfectly.Right away they were so comfortable, no breaking in needed. I got to test them out in thick wet grass for an entire day and by the end my feet remained completely dry, such a pleasure. Its definitely worth getting the ones with the lining to protect from water.more costly than I usually pay but my friends couldn't recommend the highly enough so I took the plunge and am so glad I did.If you are debating, just go for it.

I was a little apprehensive about ordering from this site given some of the reviews on postage and returns, however I was very pleasantly surprised. I believe the shoes were shipped from Spain, and although the estimated arrival date changed to a week later after I purchased these shoes, they actually ended up arriving earlier (by 5 days). The shoes are so comfortable and I'm really looking forward to testing them out during my Scottish Highlands trip next week. I would order from this website again as the price and size options were better than anywhere else I looked.

Saw these shoes at REI for way more than I was willing to spend. Once I bought them on amazon I only wore them 3x before doing the Marquette Ultra marathon. They seemed more durable and sturdy than the Hokas. They were perfectfor me! Great tread, durable, and flexible when running. I have a narrow foot so I had plenty of room in the toe box. The easy lace up was a good feature, but I noticed when tightly strung they would slightly loosen up over time. Beyond wearing good socks during the race I had no blisters or issues with my feet related to the shoes.

This shoe is perfect for beginners and avid hikers. The comfort is ridiculously comfortable and extremely lightweight. I did a 5 mile hike on Castle Rock and not once did I twist my ankle or slipped on the trail uphill. Going downhill, my toes were always comfortable. My toes did not slip forward going downhill. Because of the GORE-TEX, the grip is intense and waterproof. It is great to have waterproof shoes, you never know where your hike might take you. And you don't have to stop and tie your laces. It comes with a quick fit lacing system.

Good fit, true to size with enough room for foot swelling throughout the day. Perfect for a trail hike. The blue is a little more sea foam green, but still pretty. They will likely be covered in dirt soon anyhow.Great traction and comfortable on their first mile “test walk” of trails. This is a high quality shoe that I’m sure we will get more of. We own his and hers for me and my husband and have looked at many other brands that just don’t compare to the quality and comfort.

This is my fifth pair of Salomon Speedcross shoes, and once again, they do not disappoint. I've been hooked on the shoes and the lace system since 2005 and will never go back to tying shoelaces. These shoes slip on and off with ease, allowing me to go in and out of the house with convenience. They are well-made and comfortable. I highly recommend these shoes.I normally wear a women's size 8, but I find Salomon runs large, so a 7.5 fits me perfectly.

I actually ended up having to get a different size. But return was easy and I will tell you it is so worth it. I’ve use these shoes for a tough matter and for a treacherous mountain hike so far. I’ve done the hike in the course in the past and have been in so much pain from my hip, not with these shoes. So great for hiking. I don’t like them to walk on the concrete or Paved roads. But literally everything else.

Really delighted with these. Bought a half size up after reading reviews and when I first tried them on I thought they might be too small but when I run in them they are snug but very comfortable. I run through muddy woods, fields and country lanes. They are waterproof, they grip well and they are bouncy enough so my knees don’t hurt when road running. The perfect winter running shoe.

Good price for these from this seller. This is my second pair of Speedcross which I use for walking and running. These are so comfortable for running and walking and really grippy in wet and muddy trail conditions but also on wet leaf-covered pavement. Gore text keeps feet dry but non-GtX also effective in rain and puddles. Will buy another pair when these wear out. Fab trainers
