I bought these for what appeared to be specific properties yielding excellent traction for multiple surfaces. Upon opening the box, you can already feel how sturdy they are before you even put them on. They feel indestructible, actually. The bottom contours perform exactly as hoped, meaning that when we're playing disc golf, they don't slide around on a concrete tee pad or grass or dirt surfaces. I got a pair for my girlfriend (5X women's professional world disc golf champion) as well as for myself, and she loved hers just as much as I dug mine. I was weary about buying a shoe online that I've never tried on, but was very pleased when these came in the mail. I am very picky about shoes and how they fit, I have very narrow feet and like a good solid arch support. These shoes fit like a glove with no excess room side to side but plenty of room in the forefoot to avoid toe cramping. The arch support is above par, It was enough to prevent me from pronating but not too much to cause cramps in the arches of my feet. I can't comment on durability as I've only had the shoes 1 week and have only hiked 9 miles in them, but so far I am very pleased.

these hikers are wonderful! and who gives a 100% money back guarantee if you get blisters?! Salewa that's who! they fit true to size, are so stylish (so many hikers are hideous) and they are crazy comfortable. i highly recommend them and wore them on a hike/ruck yesterday without a problem! will def be buying more of their shoes as the needs arise!

I purchased this shoe in my normal size 9. I was very disappointed when I received it and found it to be large in the heel area. After ordering the shoe in size 8 1/2 I am very pleased with how the shoe fits and feels. Very sturdy, somewhat stiff bottom( which is what I need for Mountain biking) but fairly comfortable to walk in .

This is the best shoe on the market for anyone who needs a good supportive shoe. In addition, if they are too wide, Salewa provides extra inserts to be placed into the shoe. The inserts come in a white box inside the box with the shoes. Cannot be happier with these shoes as I need good arch support and heel support.

Great hiking shoes! Got them for a trip to Alaska and they didn't disappoint. I've had them now for a little more than a year. They've been waterproof for me, though I haven't taken them in any super extreme conditions. I'm really, really happy with these sturdy, comfortable hiking shoes.

great quality and comfort, have hiked about 30 miles in them so far (not all at once!) over rocks and roots and hills and ditches and my feet haven't even felt it. fit true to size. very happy with this transaction-quick and careful shipping as well.

Great service,great walking shoe,very sturdy and stylish. The fit is tight however and little room for expansion of the foot especially when hot. I don’t think there’ll be room for thick walking socks!!

I am on my 2nd pair of Salewa hiking boots and I am really satisfied. They are comfortable, resistant and the flu is excellent. The delivery for Quebec was a month, which is really reasonable.

Love these shoes, good price. They are a little heavy, but they are built exceptionally well. Very comfortable. This is my second pair.
