I bought my boots based strictly on the reviews. Never had Salewas before. I was a bit concerned the first time I put them on as they were rubbing slightly around the ankles. But after 15 min of walking in the woods, I forgot I had boots on, let alone the brand new ones. These boots are light but still feel like you have support in the foot and ankle, they grip well too. I wear street size 10 and ordered size 10. After replacing the sole with my own and putting on a hiking sock, I still had a bit of a wiggle room in the toe box. My foot is medium to slightly wide. If you have a really wide foot, I am not sure if these boots are right for you, as they don't have much room across.

I have a wide foot and broke my right big toe years ago, so most of boots wont fit or hurt on that toe area. This boots were perfect fit for me, they have plenty of space. I am 7.5 on regular shoe and 8 in running shoes and hiking boots but with this style 7.5 was just fine, no need to go up. They are very cute also! insole is little stiff, but not that bad

Salewa Boots are just flat out amazing. If you're on the fence about trying them, go ahead and give em a shot. They will quickly turn into your go-to boot. I firmly believe that you should never go cheap on your feet. Salewa makes a more than sufficient boot for the price point.

Comfortable right out of the box. Went up a half size because I wear thick wool socks when I hike. Excellent support in the footbed and ankle all throughout my hikes. No rubbing or tight spots. Fantastic boot.

Light and very well made boots. I bought them for my little girl who immediately found them comfortable and aesthetically appealing. The pomoca sole is excellent

They are of very good quality and excellent for hiking in the mountains, I will buy other boots from this brand, but from another model.
