Design: I enjoy using this trimmer. The built in adjustable stubble length trimmer makes life so much easier, not having to faff about removing fiddly plastic clips/extensions is a big win in my opinion. The materials used feel premium and sturdy, it doesn't feel cheap and plastic. It also feels like it would survive a bit of a battering about when in my washbag travelling around from place to place. The feel of the rubber type material feels comfortable when using and the overall shape of the product is shaped well to help (rather than hinder) the awkward angles that you find yourself getting into when shaving your face. It also looks professional and premium.Ease of use:I particularly enjoyed using the product as it made shaving much quicker and more efficient than any other trimmers that I have used; however it does still occasionally miss a few hairs mid trim. This said, I'm sure this is more down to me trimming at a much shorter stubble length. At longer stubble lengths it does not have this problem. One area this trimmer does really struggle in my experience of use is when not using the adjustable length clip and trying to use a close shave trim to get any straggling hairs or shape my beard, it doesn't do an adequate job of this, I instead have to revert to using my Oneblade to finish the job. This said, the ease with which it completes the overall trim makes switching razors a minor drawback rather than a big one. Functionality: Charging the trimmer was no issue at all. However, I would much prefer if it was possible to charge it via micro usb or at leats via USB, as this would make it much much more travel friendly and allow it to be charged virtually anywhere without the need for carrying additional power cables/accessories. I particularly like that the blades are self sharpening as this saves me a small fortune in the replacement blades that with other shaves need to be bought every few months. Overall, I would recommend this trimmer, but only for those who shave at a much longer stubble length than I do myself. Only a few small quibbles with the product as I have mentioned above however it has still been enough of a success with me that it has found itself being used in my shaving routine. Generally I can't be bothered leaving reviews but I'm so happy with this trimmer that I can't help it. I went through various trimmers to replace my Remmington for travelling.First I got that Wahl under £10 which turned to be total garbage so I returned it. Then I bought the Phillips trimmer with USB and at the same time I decided to buy this one for home usage to replace my beloved Remington since I was looking for something with more precision.What can I say. The Phillips USB trimmer turned out better than the Wahl trimmer but it still felt like a cheap imitation and it took longer to trim since it wasn't powerful enough (the tradeoff with USB trimmers). Then I tested this trimmer and what can I say,it pretty much has it all. The battery lasted me for 1 month with 15 beard trimmings and a few occasional body trimmings. On top of that it's super light and you don't need to carry a bunch of heads with you since the one it has is adjustable. For me that means that this is the best trimmer for travelling.From now on I use solely this trimmer both for home and when travelling. When travelling I simply charge it before I leave and it lasts me for the whole duration of the trip.Pros:- Very light. Compared to a Remington it's like feather.- Amazing battery life, 1+ month.- Good quality and ergonomic.- Very precise when trimming and powerful.- Single head that is adjustable so you don't have to fiddle with replacing them for gradual length.Cons:Seriously none. It's just that good.

I have been using this trimmer for almost 2 weeks now and I have to say I'm very impressed.It works well and i loved the fact it only takes an hour to charge.It has with 20 length setting so it was good for me as i have by beard at different lengths each week and the ease of selecting what length you want is easily done by the rotary switch.The cut it gives you is smooth, with no pulling of hair and a great finish. The trimmer is light and easy to handle whilst shaving. It has a grip on the trimmer that is fantastic as your hands or fingers don't slip when using the product allowing to to maintain a firm grip.Although it took me a couple days to get use to it but that would be the same with any new trimmer you buy.A feature of this product I liked is that you can use it corded or cordless.This is especially handy if you have forgotten to charge it! I am guilty of forgetting to charge things so having this feature is a life saver for me, especially when I need a quick shave in the morning before work!Overall I really like this trimmer and it is a lot better than other products I have used previously and I would really recommend this to anyone looking for a a new trimmer! I got this beard trimmer as my old Philips was getting a little worn and I can’t believe the difference. For the last 5 years I’ve kept my facial hair at a stubble length after a minor op which left me with a scar on left cheek, which the stubble hides well. My fiancé would always say that kissing me was hit and miss as random hairs would stab her and I was life a yard brush. HoweverApartently my facial hair is now velvety and it’s a pleasure to kiss me. The shave is very quick, I’ve not had any problems with the trimmer clogging up and the blades are super sharp. The trimmer is well made as you’d expect from Philips but it is very light which would be the only thing I’m not keen on I liked the heavier weight of my old trimmer.Charging is quick, I’ve had a trimmer that charges via usb before and it took ages to charge this charges with a regular plug/adapter and it’s really quick. Cleaning is easy and the adjustable guide is great as there are no heads to loose. I’ve even shaved my head with this trimmer and gotten a great result even thou it’s not really designed for it. The shaver came in a nicely designed box, highlighting its key feature; the 10 length settings. This could be improved by also indicating it uses a wheel to easily change the lengths.The shaver feels nice in the hand, a good weight, not too heavy but heavy enough not to feel cheaply made.The shaver charged effectively and I have used it a number of times without needing to charge it again, indicating a good battery life.The shaver worked very well, the blades did not tug at the hairs and so the blades must have been sharp. The head of the shaver moved over my face without scrapping, and moved easily over the angle of my jaw.However, the position of the trimmer head made the region of the upper lip,just under the nostrils impossible to reach. I ended up removing the attachment and having to very carefully trim this area. This product is absolute amazing. There are so many good points about it, shaving for my partner has now become a quick thing unlike it was previously. It almost takes one swoop and all beard is trimmed/shaved, it is the most precise beard trimmer I have found for him. My partner has different lengths throughout his beard and the wheel to change lengths is so smooth, no more changing attachments on the head for different lengths making the whole process so fast. As well as it being easy to change lengths there is also very precise measurements down to 0.5mm.It has 60mins of use, but to be honest you wouldn’t even need the full 60mins as there is no fiddly bits with changing heads etc.If needs be there is a little light on it to indicate battery life. Overall I would highly recommend this product my partner absolutely loves it now I won’t need to be searching for a new and better one repeatedly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I've been through quite a few beard trimmers and can honestly say this is one of the best I have used. Firstly, the battery life is exceptional. As someone who typically has to have a full shave every day it can easily last 2+ weeks before needing a charge; great for people on the go or if you've forgotten your charger away from home!The grader slots easily into the trimmer, providing an even shave at whatever chosen grade. Without the grader the trimmer provides a good, clean stubble look. The design of the shaver looks fantastic and the grader slide feels sturdy whilst negating all the annoying pieces and constant replacement of different graders.The only downside to this beard trimmer I've found is that the grader itself feels slightly flimsy,but overall works well. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking to achieve an even beard hassle-free!

My partner has been testing this product out with fantastic results. He has tried so many different razors and shavers to keep his facial hair in trim. Well this beard trimmer has 20 settings for the length! 10 with the attachment and 10 without, and sports a metal blade which is fantastic. It can be used with or without the cord but we’ve found that the charge keeps for a long time so have used cordless all the time. It is easy to clean as it comes with a little brush to get rid of the hairs. It also comes with a pouch which will be very handy for travelling. My partner varies his facial hair styles depending on his mood, but this product handles them all - tash, beard, stubble and sideburns.Like my title says - simple and effective.
