I purchased Wii Speak to coincide with the release of The Conduit. It is excellent to finally be able to chat with my friends from all over the world whilst playing with them. Additionally it has also been handy to use the wii speak conference room which is becomes a channel on your menu. With this you can chat with any one of your friends who has wii speak. Whilst not revolutionary in it's function this does essentially mean I can have free phone call chats with friends in other countries, which has saved me money.For those two reasons (The Conduit with friends and free phone like calls to friends who are far away)

I bought this for my daughter to use with Wii Animal Crossing. She uses it to interact with her friends when on-line. She likes it very much and it saves all the hassle of typing messages via the virtual keyboard to each other. It is a very small unit and sits nicely on top of the Wii sensor bar at the top of the televeison. It is very easy to set up with the on-line guide and my daughter was using it within minutes of getting her friend's Wii friend code. The Wii speak is very sensitive and it is easy to hear what other people are saying in the other property - so when my daughter is using it I have to be conscious of what I am saying, and how loud I'm saying it! Works great! was expecting audio quality to be terrible from various online sources but I was pleasantly surprised, and didn't notice the device picking up my speakers at all! I wish more games supported it, but that's the fault of Nintendo and Third Party Developers, not the product itself.

Its good for chatting.You can use it on game (eg. Animal Crossing Lets Go to the city).If you have added someone to your wii address book you need to download "The wii speak channel" so that you can send voice messages between each other.

i got this for my daughter so she could chat with her frien from school on the wii, works perfectly and she is one happy little girl a great buy, thankyou

Used to communicate between Wii's. But since the online services for Wii and Nintendo DS are history I don't think it will work anymore.

This is a must if you own a Wii! Cheap and effective for free communication between consoles. No cons as far as I'm aware of.

Received on time and considering it was unboxed (which I knew) it came undamaged... I am going to be testing it soon.

The grandchildren loved this gadget. They used it to talk to there friends and it kept them content and animated.
