I was so happy with my purchase that I bought one for the wife shortly after getting mine. I did have one problem with it after I was unlucky and it fell on the floor. The USB seems to be a little weak, so I would create statick sound when joining parties on Xbox, but that was usually fixed by unplugging and replugging the controller.I did upgrade the cable from the original to the cable from an Xbox Elite controller, and while that was a tighter fit the first time, it was a better cable. (Also does not have that big bulge right next to the micro USB.)After about two years of use I did see a problem with the joysticks scraping into the plastic of the shell and mainly on the left joystick,so now it’s not super smooth, but rather a little jagged. Metal joysticks would solve that problem. As I did swap mine from an Elite controller! Worth the upgrade! Even if the left stick now can get a little stuck when going full right (there is a small platic standoff for the shell the elite joystic hits, but it’s not much of a problem. Makes for some funny moments in Destiny or while drifting in Forza.)Aside from the few custom things done to the controller, I can not praise PDP enough for installing the audio controller in the D-Pad! Oh my Lord it’s good! My wife is still using her MasterChief controller and her stereo adapter is dying, and trying to find a new one in Norway, nope, discontinued. That is really the only downside to this controller. While I love the lights (and after the update it got ever better with the disco stick mode) I could live without it, if it became wireless.Summary.Pros: +Build quality is better than Microsoft’s (feels more like the quality of a 360 controller)+the integrated audio controller!!!+love the lights+decent USB cable length+6 extra buttons underneath.Cons: -USB cable should be a copy of the Elite controller (fits and works better than the one it came with)-plastic joystics that over time will dig into the shell and slug the controller down (had to use silicon spray until I swapped them for the metal magnet Elite Joysticks)-no trigger adjustment (like on the Elite Controller)-no chatpad option (some like to text)-not wireless, only cable.-4 extra button to many underneath.-button wheels underneath can be difficult to operate at times.Writing this after a few thousand hours in Destiny 1 & 2.

PDP/Afterglow makes a lot of neat products, this controller included. The lights on the interior are a nice touch, but I do (as in I own one of these and actively use it) have a few problems with it. They could be the "New controller" standard issues, but here they are:1. The left joystick's click. The joysticks themselves have given me no problems with dead zones as it stands, but I have noticed that my left joystick doesn't like to click properly. Occasionally, while playing Destiny 2, i've noticed that my sprint cuts out after some interestingly short amounts of time. Sure Titans are pretty slow, but not THAT slow.2. The right trigger's sensitivity. My right trigger is... what's the word...a bit TOO sensitive. It takes the slightest impulse to set it off. That's good, right? If you wanted hairline triggers? Yes and no, for one reason: The trigger is so sensitive that more-often-than-not, it will be set off by nothing. This isn't a major issue, clicking the trigger twice usually (and so far always) solves the problem.3. The A button gets a bit sticky. I'm pretty sure this is one of those "New controller" things that gets worked out of the system after continuous use, but I thought I should mention it here, considering that other users have had problems with other buttons. All in all, I admire this controller. While it may have some factory defects, it really is a dependable controller. The cord has zero problems with my baseline One, the controller rumble is really nice, the LED lights in it are spectacular, and the fact that the triggers are so responsive is beyond nice (even though mine has complications with that).4 out of 5 stars, would recommend to a friend. I'm sure the problems with mine are just factory defects, and the non-defective controllers are great. Worth the price too!

Absolutely incredible!!! Everyone in my family loves this afterglow controller, I need to get more as it’s usually an argument over who gets to use which. The packaging alone is extremely cool, I’ll add two photos from different angles of the same front part of the box to show, but it changes colors depending on where you’re looking. The controller lights up to a bunch of different colors and you can actually set it to what level you want, say it’s on red you can set it a little lower and have a bright pink or higher and get an orange. All about the color scale. Colors are super bright and even that can be changed depending on preferance. And for the basics, it works amazingly well. The quality is great! It does not feel cheap in the slightest, seems to be made with good heavy materials. Buttons and triggers work nicely and taking everything into account I would give it 5stars easily. Really like it! I opened the packaged And was quite surprised with the controller. It is definitely a good looking controller. The kids were excited to try it out. It’s comparable in size, texture, and layout. So really what this controller offers that differentiates itself from other controllers is the ability to light up. The light option itself is a really cool feature, that will dress up your gaming experience. Plus you can change the color of the lights with the app. The controller has pretty decent response time, maybe not for the hardcore gamer, but for the averageJoe this controller is right for the job.The microphone did squeak quite frequently so we opted not to use it.Overall the looks, feel and technology is worth buying this contoller. Those positives definitely out weigh the negatives. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this about 2 months ago and after about a week of use (with the controller never experiencing and potentially damaging falls or anything) I noticed that the left trigger wasn’t going in all the way and when I would tilt my controller backwards, it would go back to normal. After about a month, it happened again and I shook the controller and I could hear something moving around inside the controller and I saw a small piece of plastic inside the controller, so I took it apart and took the piece of plastic out and checked the controller for anywhere the plastic could have come from and I found no damage. The controller hasn’t had either of the triggers lock up. Other than that, the left stick squeaks a little bit.

Good controller. Obviously feels like an xbox one controller.Doesn't feel cheap at all.Good customisability of the light colour and intensity of rumble when using the windows 10 app.Even better, when plugged into either an xbox one, or linux based system. Keeps the settings locally on controller. thus not having to change the controller settings accross multiple systems. Can all be done from one windows 10 pc.I do not own an XBO, thus can not make a judgment on the xbox version of the customisabilty app. But I assume it much the same.Overall good controller, good price.Only caveat is, the controller does plug in to the computer/Xbox One as well as the controller itself (USB Microconnection).

So easy to change the colors and customize it for my kids. When my son uses it he loves setting it to Blue, and when my daughter uses it she likes how it can fade in and out of all of the color settings. I prefer to turn the lighting off and just see the cool components of the controller. I also liked how you can download the app and make all the necessary adjustments to the controller (run diagnostics, set audio, remap buttons, etc.) Another great feature on this controller is on the fly audio adjustments using the d-pad and function button right on the controller. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and given its popularity in my household might need to buy a second one soon.

I brought this controller a couple years ago and it survived my rage and sweat which is surprising for me. This controller has help me win countless games and being able to mute party chat on a 1 2 basis is a life saver when you need to sound hoard Ohhhhh I forgot it also amplifies sound!!!! sadly tho my controllers life is coming to an end soon my analog sticks are worn down and a piece finally broke inside :( but It’s still playable and I can still clutch 1v5 just get annoying when it has a mind of its own which happens to every great controller when they get old... so I’m backkk and I will be getting another one soon hopefully:) thank you Afterglow.

Hello guys. I bought this controller 2 months ago, after read so Manny comments before buying I was kind of afraid to buy it cause comments are 50/50% divided. All I can say is, quality even better than xbox one original controller, very responsive, plugged in the USB to my computer. Immediately recognized as an original Xbox controller. Cable attaches perfectly into the control and stays there fixed. Buttons feel good, and holding the control is great. Lights are easy to control where you can chose multiple ones and the intensity of them. 0 problems with the controlar. Couldn't be more happy.

I bought the controller about a year ago and have enjoyed using it sense, the thumbsticks and bumbers feel smoother then the original Xbox One controller. The integrated audio controls are nice and not having to worry about my battery dying is a big plues. The only problem I have is that after about 7 months of use the controller end of the cable became loose and would sometimes need to be wiggled to connect. Now the end is complety loose and if I move the controller while playing it disconnects, it also leaves some of the buttons non functional. The A button and RB,RT don't work.

Decent controller for the price feels very similar to an official Xbox Controller from Microsoft. Asp love the look of the LEDs on the inside of the controller and how the controller is see-through. With the app which is available for Xbox and Windows, you can customise everything from the lights to the vibrations and have multiple presets. If you are looking for a cheap alternative to an official Xbox Controller or like the look of this controller with the see through look and LED lights on the inside, I would highly recommend this.

We have two "regular" controllers that came with our Xbox console. This one is really fun since you can change colors from blue to red, etc. It just gives another dimension when playing, esp when playing games at night or in the dark, because then you can see the cool colors on the controller really well. It's not that bright that it's distracting or anything. The functionality is exactly the same as the Xbox controllers that we already have, so there were no problems there. Really neat, an official Xbox one controller with 4 different led light modes /colours/combination of colours (7 main plus in between/merging colours) and ability to dim, mode button, ability to personalise settings through Pdp app, mute and volume button for headset when connected (via Jack). The casing is hard plastic and completely clear, which I was unsure of (thinking it would feel ‘cheap’) but having used it have found it to be a really good, nice looking, comfortable to use controller. The price is really good too.

I ordered this as I broke my analog stick on my first controller. This works perfectly however I frequently have to turn it on and off if I need to use a headset as once I plug it in I get no noise. However this is fixed just by taking the wire out and popping it back in. The wire is approx 3 metres long and is very durable. Think I’ve dropped this controller 3 times and it still works so very good value for money and I recommend it to anyone that wants to buy an inexpensive new xbox controller.

Bought this controller as my original xbox controller’s analog had broken. This is a far cheaper and better replacement. Plugs directly into any usb port on the xbox and connects instantly. An app that can be downloaded for free in the xbox store allows you to customise the controllers sensitivity, deadzone settings etc allowing you more control over your handset. I use for gaming and find since being able to modify my controller settings my gameplay has improved slightly. Would highly recommend
