This is a very good sounding comfortable headset.~[Overall product]~The build quality is very common amongst turtle beach headsets, with a plastic construction but also durable, its a light weight set of earphones with a detachable microphone, leather ear cups and a bit of padding along the top of the headband. The headband is fully adjustable so it can cater to your dome size making it comfortable for everyone. The cable isn't very long but its more than enough for what it will be used for. In the upper mid section of the cable lies a little mute button and volume slider.~[Sound Quality]~The sound quality is brilliant for the price with heavy bass and a wide soundscape making it perfect for most if not all games.The sound quality for chat sounds very crisp and clear as does the microphone itself. You could use these for listening to music or watching movies, I would recommend this as the sound quality is very diverse which is good because its not all about bass heavy explosions but also character dialogue and music so this would be good for anything but specifically great for gaming.~[feel]~The earphones are very comfortable for extended gaming sessions, the ear cups are large which allows them to sit comfortably over your ears. The ear cups are made with leather which does get quite warm after a period of extended use but this is to be expected. here is also a small piece of soft foam on the headband for extra cushioning but I would honestly say that it doesn't really make much of a difference as the headset is very light so you don't really feel the head band at all. The headset is fully adjustable so if you have a larger head or a smaller one you will not be left out.~[Overall opinion]~Overall I would recommend this headset to anyone that needs a good headset for chat and game sounds in the one pair especially if they don't want to break the bank in a higher end headset. They are relatively durable and have great sound quality for the price so I really cant fault them.

I actually bought these for my son, but have ended up using them just as much (if not more) as him.I was expecting much for the price, but they are actually really good quality headphones. Their main purpose is to chat with other players while playing online. I do play online games, but only rarely, so I've not personally used them for that purpose. However, my son is very happy with them and rates them highly.They plug into the dualshock controller and once plugged in, they take seconds to set up (just need to adjust the microphone levels in the PS4 settings, but it comes with a guide if you've not done this before)I play a lot of single player games and watch films on the ps4,but can't really have the volume up when others are sleeping in the house. These headphones have been amazing to use for that purpose. Just simply unplug the microphone and you have a pair of Bluetooth headphones. Well sort of. You still need to have the headphones plugged into the dualshock, but they work perfectly if you just want to use them for headphones for the PS4.Beside the headphones and mic, there is also a volume control and mute switch connected to the wire, so you can adjust the volume and mute the mic when you don't want the people you're gaming with to hear (can save embarrassing/awkward moments!)They are not the best quality headphones money can buy, nor are they the greatest gaming headset on the market, but for the price you can not go wrong.

I’ve had a few Turtle Beach gaming headphones and have always thought them to be very good, this is the first set that have been under £30.First impressions are they look really good, great looking box, and nice looking headphonesThere light weight, they do have a bit of a plastic feel to them, which the previous Turtle Beach didn’t, guess that reflects the price.They sat nicely on my head, nice and comfortable, well padded band.You have a microphone on the side, which is very well made, and a good length cable.The come with a 3.5mm plug, which fits nicely in tot he PS4 controllerConnected to the PS4, the Sound quality is very good, okay, I’ve had better but not at this price, the mix of Treble,Bass and mid is excellent, I played COD and they were more than capable of giving a very good gaming experience, explosions were good, the atmosphere was captured pretty well with these, I did think speech was excellent, worked well without the mic having to bit sat on you lip.Remembering that these are by Turtle Beach and there under £30, I think there very good, If you can stretch the budget by a considerable amount then there are better, but you’d be hard pushed to find anything at this price that are as good in my opinionThese are a good quality set of headphones, build is good, but not as solid as some I have tried, nicely presented in a good presented box, ideal If giving as a gift.

I ordered these as the title page states (Xbox One/PS4/Mac/PC). When I received the headset I was a little disconcerted as they had Xbox One splattered all over them – we have a PS4. However once unpacking them I could see that there was a standard 3.5mm audio jack on the lead so I thought they would probably work with the PS4, and they did.My son tested these with FIFA 16 playing on his own vs the PS4 and also as part of an online game. He was pleased with the results. The microphone just needs to be plugged in and our PS4 recognised the headset when it was connected to the audio port of the Dual Shock controller. He didn’t experience any lag whilst using these online and the PS4 and FIFA 16 recognised in-game voice commands “attack”,etc without any issue.I’m not a gamer or anything but I did have a go and my more mature ears thought they were a little harsh and tinny, but I’m used to more expensive headphones and listen exclusively to music, so that would be the reason. My son certainly wasn’t concerned about the quality of the sound.So, although they have green flashes to obviously compliment the Xbox One they worked perfectly on our PS4. I note that there is a “blue” version for the PS4 so if you’re that bothered what the colour scheme is.Good value for the money, I would say.

So I got this headset yesterday, not from Amazon but from Argos. Starting off with the comfort, he comfort of this headset is amazing as the ear cups cover your whole ears and they are very nicely cushioned with a leathery like material on them. I was wearing these for about 3 hours of gaming and these are just so comfortable. So next, the sound quality, the sound quality of these is very good and high quality and you can hear the footsteps of nearby enemies up to medium range enemies (Black Ops 3). So next is the microphone, so I really like the microphone on this headset as it is removable and according to my friends, my voice is very clear with it.The only problem with the microphone is that it feels stiff when trying to bend it into position and my voice doesn't echo back so I can't hear myself talking which can be annoying as I am used to my voice echoing and I never know if the mic is working or not at times. Another reason that makes this headset good as the fact that you can use it for multiple platforms such as PC, Xbox One, PS4, mobile or tablet and PS Vita. Overall I would rate this headset a 4/5.

The colour scheme is quite deceptive as it compliments the XBox. No worries though. They will work as advertised on other platforms. If you want a different colour (blue), they are also available with a lightly different model number - Ear Force Recon 50P.Our intended use will be on a PS4 & PC.Plugging them into the PS4 controller, they were recognised immediately.The headset feels nice and comfortable in use - My kids using them for quite some time without issue. They don't feel as cheap as some others in this category.They are very good sound quality for a headset in this price range, and the microphone is very good, crisp & clear for in game chatting.Whilst they are not a match audibly for my Sennheiser headphones (which I didn't expect them to be at a third of the price), they do offer very good performance at a reasonable price point.Quite pleased with these and the kids give them the thumbs up seal of approval.

For the price, this is probably the best all round headset available. It's not amazing sound quality but for the price I wasn't expecting that. If you are looking for absolutely amazing sound quality, I would have a look at a more expensive headset because it just doesn't exist at this price range.There is one thing I must mention that I know caught me out and someone else I know who also brought this same headset. The way it works is through a mic and speaker 3.5mm jack slot. This slot is only on the latest Xbox One controller. Luckily for me, I'd pre ordered the Elite controller which has the slot. However, if you don't have the slot, it's either a new controller,the official adaptor which is available on Amazon for £17.99 or a new headset.It does also work on the PS4 and I haven't tested it on PC or Mac as I don't have the splitter cable but I have no reason to suspect it won't work on them as well.Apart from the problem with the audio jack which is this headset's main flaw as it's advertised for the Xbox One, this headset is a great all rounder and I would recommend it to anyone.

Very good value for money. I bought these for PC gaming, so I can't speak for how they perform with console gaming.The mic can be unplugged and is un-intrusive, and I have been told the quality is quite crisp and overall better than the macbook pro inbuilt microphone I used prior to purchasing them.Headphones are lightweight and quite comfortable to wear, some headphones I have worn in the past do feel heavy on the head and get uncomfortable to wear over time - these do not.Ear cups do a solid job at keeping outside noise out, especially at this kind of pricing.Sound quality is also solid, good for the price but it isn't going to blow you away like a more expensive headset.My main problem with this headset so far is the wires.Wire is fairly short, about 3 feet from jack to earphones. The other issue is that the wires do split into each earphones fairly high up- lower split would have been nicer, and only one wire up to the head could have been even nicer.Overall, an excellent budget headset, but if you are a PC gamer you may find yourself needing to invest in 3.5mm extension cable.

Although I didn't buy these direct from Amazon... Yet. I bought this instead in store from GAME for a cool £25 and I won't lie atall the sound is fantastic for its price and beautiful and it's design is incredibly comfy as well as ergonomically sound (the puns) as shown in the photo they are tilted for the ears design. Not only this but the best part is the fact that it can double as regular headphones. Iv been on the hunt after Christmas for a nice pair to buy for myself and thought "hm would this be compatible with my iPad" (as older designs haven't worked) and lone behold it does and the sounds are rich and bassey.For what it's worth this is a VERY good product that has saved me a lot and I plan on buying a second pair just to use for college alone and their sound department. I would highly recommend this product and considering it's working with my Apple product I'd guess it works with anything. Love It!!

These are primarily for games consoles line the PS4 or Xbox One, as these plug into the controller and the lead is fairly short. They will fit all PS4 controllers and the revised XBone controller. The earlier version will need an adapter.These are a very comfortable fit, they go over your ears completely rather than fitting on top, making a long gaming session more enjoyable and comfy. The sound is clear and crisp, with explosions loud and voices clear. There is a controller on the lead to adjust volume and to turn off the mic with the flick of a switch. The microphone is detachable, which is a first for all the gaming headphones I have used.Team mates commented that voice communication was clear,so they do the job they are intended for, and for the price they are with the money. You may get better ones for more money, but these are more than adequate for me.

Great sound quality and comfort for the price. I didn't want to spend a massive amount on a headset that would just be worn when i play one game. So opting for the turtle beach brand this was a well priced, and still high quality product. The Mic detaches easily and is put in place easily with no movement or issues. the headset plugs directly into my PS4 controller using the mini jack port, and the inline mute and volume controls work perfectly.There is a tiny bit of interference that can be heard if you really stretch your hearing but only when charging the controller at the same time as using it, and really it was only noticeable during quiet periods of the game,which don't happen often!all in all a great price for a great headset

I love this headset, it is very comfortable to wear for extended periods, adjusts well, and has good sound quality. The ear pieces are very comfortable, and the microphone has a good quality sound for other players. The microphone is also detachable which is great, as you can use it for sound without mic function, as well as being fully malleable, so you can hold it close or far, as you see fit. It attaches to a 3.5mm jack, with a nice quality thick cable, and has an extra mute and volume control on the wire.The only downside as far as I can see, is that I would personally have liked a bit more padding on the top of the headset - there is a small amount of very thin padding,but it's not as much as I would have hoped.

These headphones are very good quality for the price, highly recommended. They are better quality then the Microsoft official headset, which i find more expensive surprisingly. They are very comfortable, and generally much better made, durable if you are taking them on and off allot, something the Microsoft Xbox head set, seems to crack and break overtime being cheap plastic.The sound is very good, a little quiet to start with until you turn up the volume balance between game and chat, but that is all. You will need an adapter to get these to work with older xbox one pads. The headset is also stops sound outside of the ear peace, so you can focus without distraction,for me is very good with background noise.

Good quality headset for the price, I've been using it for my PS4, my laptop and my phone for quite a while now and I love it.The sound is good, I have used it for games and voice chat as well as music and they might not be the greatest in the world but they're certainly great for their price range. The microphone is good for picking up my voice clearly and even picks up a bit of the background noise in my house, but that's because I talk pretty quietly and have to have the detection set pretty sensitive. The foam pads are really comfortable and soft, not like some that I find push on my ears uncomfortably or squash my ears into my glasses which is pretty painful after a few hours!
