After my other gaming headset died on my abruptly one Friday evening, I had to buy a replacement at short notice and (although I didn't buy it through Amazon - I actually bought it in Tesco for a couple of quid more) this is the model I found. It was the only one available but I was desperate (i.e. impatient) so I took a risk. I've been very pleasantly surprised to discover that it is a very good headset. It's useable with a PS3 and a PC (which is what I use it for). It comes with a USB plug and the red and white adapters that some TVs require for a Playstation. Sound quality through the earphones is very good, although it volume doesn't go up as loud as some models.However sound volume should be sufficient for gaming requirements.The earphones are covered with soft foam and are very comfortable (even when wearing glasses) for extended play periods. The microphone is attached via a fully articulated metal flexi-pipe (which is adjusted rather like a thick, metal pipe-cleaner) so it's fully adjustable and the sound quality of the microphone is very good for other players to hear you clearly. It was actually better than my previous HD gaming headset. The earphones each swivel independently so they can be turned to fit your head and the head-band is also adjustable. The volume controls (there are two, one for ear volume and one for microphone level) are actually on the left hand side earpiece, which may be a bit disconcerting at first for anyone who's used to volume being controlled by a little box on the cable. This means you can't see which control you're using - you have to use trial and error at first - but you will get used to it quickly. There is also a microphone mute switch on the same earpiece.Anyone using the headphones for a PC should also be aware that you may need to fasten up the red and white PS3 adapter plugs since, if they come into contact with each other or if either touches anything, it causes a feedback buzz through the earpiece - not overly loud, just deep and annoying. This is easily fixed providing you fasten them securely.The overall impression, when wearing, is of a very good quality headset. I am very glad that I took the risk and bought it and would definitely recommend it to other gamers.

I've previously been using a small PS3 Bluetooth ear dongle, but I decided to get this headset so that I could play online without creating loads of noise when my baby was asleep.First impressions are really good, they were easy to set up on my PS3, the sound quality is good and the ability to adjust the volume of both sound and speech is handy. Plus these don't need to be recharged every 5 seconds like the Bluetooth one didThe earphones fit nicely, and are really comfortable. Quality so far in terms of sounds is very good.I've never owned a very expensive pair of gaming headphones, so I can't compare these with high end headphones, but for what I needed (playing GTA 5 online)they do the job just fine.The only down side for me is the length of wire is pretty crazy, it must be 3 meters long in total, god know who would sit that far away from their console!!!These apparently also work with a PC, however I have not tried and cannot confirm whether they do or notIf you are looking for comfortable earphones on a budget, these will do the trick

I found that this headset was easy to install, is surprisingly comfortable causing me no issues even when worn for a long time (sometimes 8+ hours), the wire is plenty long enough so you don't feel constricted or have to be too close to the TV, the sound quality is really good and it obviously doesn't need charging all the time which is great. The only problem I have with it is the mic, I have it set to level 5 which is as high as I can have it and people still struggle to hear me sometimes and if I move the mic too close to my mouth you get all the muffles and breathing sounds which isn't something people want to constantly listen to so I move it away to avoid that and just find myself having to speak a bit louder than normal.However, I still think this headset is great even with the mic issue, it's worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to pay for the more expensive headsets.

I'm really satisfied with this product, being everything I needed as an online player. The sound is cristal clear, have left right effects (not sourround though, but almost) the adjustable mic is helpful, and all together is a very comfy piece of gear (even when not playing, you can turn the ears down so they rest over your shoulders), and at the same time is quite solid for the price, meaning that is not going to crumble into pieces when you extract it from the box, like other products in the same price rate. Wires could be a mess since they are quite long, but I find that a pro more than a con.After searching the internet and the local retailers for a headset that didn't cost me a limb,I can say the Ear Force PLa is the best for weekend players who doesn't want to invest more than 30 quid but still want to get a top notch gaming gear. At that price is just unbeatable.

Bought brand new, the item is made of plastic and you get two phone cable and one USB for power. The USB plugs into the ps3 to obtain power and the red and white phonos goes into the matching sockets of the TV, then you get your ps3 AV cable and plug that on top of the phonos, then go into accessories settings in the ps3 menus to set your turtle beach headset chat, and set the multi audio out on or off. OR use just plug them in straight to the AV cables. You must have AV cable and set these as the sound output in the ps3 menu.The sound quality is very good but chat is not perfect I even tried loud settings even. You can set game and chat volume seperately on the side of the headset.There is soft cheap looking sponges on the headset plastic is head and cheap, still it functions well if you game at night as to not disturb people.

These pair of headphones are pretty good, i have had these pair of headphones for more than a year and a half and the wires are only starting to rip but its still working fine!The mic quality is very clear and so is the audio, you can adjust the headset size so both kids and adults can use it, you can also adjust the game and chat volume, everything is so simple and easy and the unbelievable amount of times its lasted me just amazes me!However the only problem is i can't keep them on for too long before having them to remove the headset as my ears start hurting and it starts feeling uncomfortable.My final thoughts are they are definitely worthy of buying as they last tremendously long and theyhave a good quality adjustable mic and also that the audio is very clear which makes it very easy for me to hear!

I have had these headphones for around 3 to 4 years! First of all I bought it at tesco for my ps3 and didn't use them that much. However, when I started using them on my computer, they worked very well! Whether it be for playing games, watching videos or even using the microphone with the headset to record commentary, it does all of those very well (especially the microphone). It does sit comfortably on my head in most cases and I can play games on my computer for hours without fidgeting with the headset!Overall the sound quality is quite good, the microphone is also quite good although it picks up a bit too much noise (breathing, background noises etc.) and for the £20 price, it is a bargain!I am still using this headset after 3 to 4 years...!

I gave these headphones 5 star because they have high sound quality and a nice microphone, they are very comfortable.The mic can shape into any design, which is very handy! Using the headphones for a long period of time (2+ hours) will start to hurt your ears, So just take breaks regularly and you'll have no problem! They feature an option to adjust the voices of other players and adjust the level of sound from the game which is awesome! :DThe cons are that you have the have an extra cable, not included, if you want the game sound through your headset, luckily I had one from my capture card, but it isn't very expensive anyways.Overall, perfect headset for people with not alot of cash and still gets the job done to a high standard!:)

The sound quality is so freaking amazing!You can hear every little thing. For instance on GTA; you can hear the gears changing so clearly and footsteps and what direction they're coming from (which helps a lot in these sort of games)Only problem is... The wires are too much hassle. (Otherwise it would've been 5 stars)I knew this headset had wires, and I saw a couple reviews saying that it annoyed them, but I thought it can't be that bad...Ugh! No matter how neat and tidy I tie them up and put them in a safe place where it's touching nothing. It's like they just get in a fight and get knotted so bad.And they're long!! Which is good for wherever the seating arrangement is.But bad cause it's more wire to get knotted up.

Before buying this headset I had a cheap bluetooth one that you hook on you ear. It was uncomfortable, ran out of charge quickly, and the sound quality was awful.This headset is a huge step up from that. Great, immersive sound with nice bass boost, long and durable wire, sturdy design, comfortable on the ears, all without having to break the bank!Cons: Headset can get a little warm after extended play (but I expected that). Instructions are RUBBISH!!! I had to figure out how to play the game sound through the headset myself, but it wasn't too hard!All in all, if you like playing online with your friends and want a better gaming experience without forking out too much,these are a great buy that won't disappoint.

I had a pair of PX21's that were treated with the utmost care, but the mic failed. This was down to the the stiff, rigid wire that split (broke), where it connect's to the earpiece, and weakened over a short time.So I got a quick, cheap replacement with these PLa's. They still have the great Turtle Beach sound quality, and look like they will end up lasting longer than the much more expensive PX21's. The 15 foot wire is more flexible and durable, and has better reinforcement where it connects to the earpiece. Also, all volume controls are discretely placed on the left earpiece, with no separate weighty volume control pulling on the wire.I would definitely recommend this great budget headset,top bargain!!

This is a must Buy. Why you may ask, Well its cheaper than the other brands of Turtle Beach but feels like it out performs the more expensive headsets. Very easy set-up and the sound quality is crystal clear allowing a truly in-game feel.PRO's- Light, comfy, loud, clear easy set up, EXTREMELY long cable and fantastic quality for price.CON's- Ears heat up over long sessions and can begin to hurt but after about 2 hours everyone needs a break. Personally I was disappointed that the ear speakers weren't in a cupped design (like the P11) but it is fine in reality.Really have enjoyed using this headset and with a £25 price tag and less than 24 hour delivery (this may vary) its well worth it.

Fantastic product it works as described in the box, it looks fantastic, you don't have to recharge the battery due to it being a USB headphones!! Yehooo, I know having a USB headphones is annoying however you don't have to consistently charge it! The sound of the games are nice, however I have not yet to tried to talk to my friends on the mic.THe design on the mic looks cool and provides above average quality sound for the price its selling for.However the bad, I think is, it's a little bit uncomfortable to wear for a long time and the mic is very flimsy however for the price its worth it and the fantastic sound quality it provides for its price, I think it's worth picking up!

At £25 i was hesitant at buying these headphones but after i used my friends i can now say they are money well spent.The sound is highly accurate and allows you to sneak up on people or hear players coming around corners giving you an advantage online.When speaking to friends you can increase the chat volume or decrease either decrease the chat volume so they are muted or increase the chat volume to max with game volume to minimum and you can just hear the players chat only, either way you can fix it to suit your needs.Overall a great buy that i would recommend to anyone who plays online and wishes to have a nice but not bank breaking experience.

Ive heard alot of good things about Turtle Beach headphones and for Christmas I was given a £25 gift card, i decided to give them a go to see what they were like - WOW, it has totally changed my gaming experience, if your a hardcore gamer these are a MUST BUY! the option to adjust the music volume or chat volume is a great feature but what really got me was the sound quality, you can completely immerse yourself into a game, I really do recommend these and for £25 is a bargain when you consider some single ear bluetooth ear pieces are over £20. - give them a go and then send me a thank you note, you wont be disappointed.
