Brilliant headset, amazing sound quality for movies and games via the PS3, simple enough to get working with Skype under Windows 8 and Linux as well via a Bluetooth USB dongle (no special drivers required). The headset is also a breeze to setup with your mobile phone to use for calls and for listening to music wirelessly with your phone, although the quality of sound for music is not particular great. Bluetooth pairing also works nicely with the PS Vita allowing you to use the headset wirelessly for listening to games and for in-game chats on the Vita - for this to work correctly, you need to tell the Vita to prioritise the Bluetooth microphone in the Settings.I keep the "dock" next to my PS3 and my wireless router and have found no distortion or odd sound effects as others have mentioned, though my WiFi network is also running via N at 5Ghz and things like my PS3 are hooked up directly to Ethernet. The dock is a little on the large side, considering its just a base unit and a stand for the headset but it does look nice. The build quality of the headset is better than I expected with sturdy components. The headset is slightly on the heavy side but it is still incredibly comfy, though it can get a little bit uncomfortable after wearing for several hours (if your into all-day gaming sessions you might prefer a wired headset that's lighter). The buttons on the ear-cups can be a little confusing sometimes as the volume for Bluetooth is also next to the button for muting and the Bluetooth action button I usually end up muting myself by mistake, but the headset does produce different beeps depending on the button you push. When paired with an Android mobile phone, the Bluetooth action button can be held for a second and provides a way to activate voice commands from the headset without touching your phone. The downside, is that to charge the headset you need to connect via USB, which is handy for gaming and charging at the same time but when your not using the headset, its a shame it can't automatically charge when placed on the stand (similar to Sennheiser wireless headphones). The other let down is the Call of Duty branding plastered all over the headset and the "dock", I would prefer a plainer product for the price rather than something that's providing advertisement but this is a minor flaw, they are definitely the best wireless headset you will find on the market.

A further update to the Turtle Beach wireless line that's included the X41, PX3, XP500 and Delta so far. In terms of sound quality and comfort this is a pretty worthy upgrade: the sounds are clearer than previously and there's less problems with interference. What's annoying, though, is how many of the classic problems have NOT been fixed. The Xbox Bluetooth chat device STILL does not support the Chatpad or other Xbox add-ons, in spite of the only issue being the shape of the connector surround. And unlike the previous versions, the Tango does NOT come with the wired chat cable, meaning that you're out of luck unless you have a cable from an XP500 or Delta (which will fit into the Tango, even though the documentation doesn't mention it as an option). The other neat new feature is the rechargeable battery, but annoyingly it does not simply recharge when it is hung on the base unit: you have to plug a USB cable into the headset to recharge it, which has to have a separate USB connection to the one that is already powering the base unit. The charging light is on the bottom, so it can't easily be seen while the headset is hanging on the base; and when the headset starts charging, it switches on, cannot be switched off while the cable is still connected, and does not switch off when it is disconnected. So if you just leave the USB cable plugged into your media center power source and plug in the headphones whenever you're not using them, you have to remember to turn them off manually whenever you turn the media center off or they'll be left on and running down their batteries. These are only relatively minor niggles compared to the quality of the headset, though, so if you don't already have a headset of this type it's an excellent purchase, but as an upgrade from an XP500 or Delta it's only moderately good and could have been so much better.

I have a 5.1 surround sound system at home. Once you start playing games at a better sound quality it's quite difficult to use TV speakers and shaking the house late at night was starting to make me enemies. The best solution was to go for a set of headsets.I'm far from a genius when it comes to gaming headsets (knew of Turtle Beach, thats about it) though took some time looking in. I narrowed down to Turtle Beach (Tangos or XP500) and cut a long story short went for the newer version - the Tangos. The fact that Call of Duty was stamped on it had no leeway on my decision, though it does look nice.REVIEW:Quick set up - only problem was took longer than anticipated to pair, roughly 1 minute (though took the same time said in manual so no qualms there)Extremely comfortable, been using them since early December and have not yet found any discomfort.Sound quality is brilliant.Chat wise - XBA Wireless Chat Adapter works fine, no drop outs. Microphone is great, also removableNO INTERFERENCE. Read reviews on other sites stating that putting the transmitter too close to your router causes major interference. I have mine roughly 1 meter apart and nothing so far.Multi-Use - With its Bluetooth I've been able to connect the headset to my laptop which has been extremely useful. It's surprising how much content online uses Dolby 5.1.Battery life its very good. Not sure about the longevity of the battery as I've only used it for 2 months though an overnight charge lasts me weeks.Overall definitely worth getting, though the price seems to have shot up. Definitely worth ≤£200.

Bought these as a Christmas present, they have been a fantastic buy for a tough to buy for 17 year old, they took a little bit of time to setup but once done the only problems seem to be charge related. Setup instructions are sparse a search on the internet soon sorted this out.No problems experienced with interference from our duel band wireless router or other devices using the same frequency's.Set to charge from the a TV USB socket means there always charged and as long as you power of the TV when not in use the head phones turn themselves off as well, the little annoyance is the fact the head phones turn themselves on every time they charge (this really should be sorted, with a software update if possible)and the first few charges didn't last very long at all (1hr-ish), a little note to tell customers about this would have eased any worries, 2 months on and a 4 hour session is no problem.

I love this headset sound quality is excellent clear and crisp, there are 8 settings to choses from from deeper sounds to a setting so you can hear enemy footsteps clearer, also another 8 settings just designed for the chat have chat quiet or loud even a couple of fun settings to change your voice. They are a really comfy lightweight headset, the only downside i can find is they battery life does not seem to last very long and i am constantly plugging in the wire to charge it.Overall id recommend this headset to anyone, well worth the price tag.

The best headphones I ever bought. I have gone through a few headphones for gaming over the years and this ones are the best once so far. Only down thing is that I needed to buy a HDMI Audio Adapter to my xbox 360 to make it work. My Call of Duty 2 Special Edition Xbox 360 don't have a optical connection for the sound.

We bought these for our son, so we do not have to listen to his games 24/7. They are perfect, you turn tv volume down and he can here everything in the headphones, he even has a microphone so he can chat to his mates while playing!!!Quiet in the house again!
