I ordered the microphone to use not with a Wii U, but with my PS3.More specifically, for the Japanese Karaoke app Joysound Plus.Plus points:Easy to use - Just turn on the mic setting after connecting the USB. Has an on/off button.The cord is extremely long, about 2-3m.Voice is true to life and clear.Minus points:There is a slight delay (~half a second) between speaking and what is played.It is a bit annoying to the ear, but looking at the app (the karaoke app has a live scoring and voice identification function), I can see it is registering it as I speak/sing, but just plays it slightly later so it might be an app problem.Packaging:The original package is protective enough. I have both a Wii U and a switch and playing kareoke games as helped me cope with lonliness and bordem during lockdown and actually improved my singing. At first I was just using it on my old Wii U and then later got a Switch and thought I'd try it and it worked! was so pleased.

Bought specifically to use as a wired mic for Rock Band 4 on the Xbox one, works with no issues whatsoever, great quality mic with a really long lead as well. recommended.

I bought this microphone based on a few reviews which said it worked on the Nintendo Switch. It works perfectly. I can't fault it at all. 10/10.

Good quality microphone for the price. Works great with karaoke u. Cable is about 5 meters long so is more than adequate.

bought this as a present for my son, it only works with wii u compatable singing games, won't work with wii singing games

Compatible with most karaoke games, good sound and nice materials. Still looks brand new after almost a year.

Working ok, you can see on screen that you sing but you cannot hear any sound from the mic itself.

Perfect for Rockband 4. My wireless ps3 mics didn't work so I replaced them with these wired.
