I have bought this controller for one purpose only. That is to play gta5 on the pc.I didn't know what to expect, so I unboxed it, plugged it in and opened up the game. All I can say is that it's pure magic. No setting up whatsoever. The right front button (where your index finger sits) acts as a perfect variable throttle. You can go as slow as you like or put your foot down. No more on and off.The left front button acts in the same way, but operates your brakes and reverse. The left joystick takes care of your steering (again variable). The right joystick does your head movements. All the other buttons do other jobs but I have not looked into that yet.It has completely transformed the game.No moreawkward keyboard driving and sore wrists.I was so impressed that I tried it on the Isle of man TT game and it operates in exactly the same way.I still use the keyboard and mouse for first person operating, but this joypad has fulfilled every criteria in the driving department. The quality seems absolutely great to me.I can't see there being an issue with things breaking on it.There and again, I am the better side of a 50 year old man, so the controller ? won't get much abuse anyway.Overall it has fulfilled everything that I wanted it to do.I was looking for a review on if it had anologue controls for acceleration etc and could not find one.So I have wrote this to hopefully help others. For the price you really can't go wrong.Worthwhile purchase. As I have just left this review, the price of the item has pretty much doubled overnight. I got it for £14.

First of all, I want to let you know that I use this for my Windows 10 PC, not Xbox, so I can't review any of the party hotkeys, audio jack,...This controller is pretty great for it's price. I've been using one for a month now, and it took some getting used to coming from an original Xbox One controller, especially the texture on the thumb sticks. Other than that, it's pretty similar to the original Xbox Controller. In the first couple of weeks, I did have a problem with the controller. It has these adhesive rubbers inside of the case, behind the triggers, and one of them got behind my right trigger, blocking it from going to it's standard position, but after opening it up,it put the rubber back to it's place and haven't had any problem with that particular issue. It comes with a long enough cable in my opinion, it's not too heavy, it doesn't feel cheap at all, but I would have loved to see some grip in the back, the texture feels too smooth and when your hands get sweaty, it can get annoying. There's a ton of colour options too, so that's a big plus. Other than that, I can't say anything bad about it. The PDP Hub for Windows 10 is great, I had to turn down the vibration a lot because I thought that was quite heavy. I didn't have to install any drivers myself, just plug it in and start playing, I can only recommend this controller to anyone not wanting to spend double on the original!

I am a fussy sim driver, not enough space for a wheel, so use a controller, but it has to be the *right* one. And boy did I kiss a few frogs before I found this prince among them. Here's what I look for in a controller for racing sims. The stick for steering inputs has to be incredibly sensitive so that, on a long straight (think the start finish straight at the Nurbergring), you can gently align your car to the best racing line to attack or defend a corner, rather than wrenching your car left or right which the majority of controllers do, alas. The PDP controller gets this exactly right, and I appreciate its precision. The PDP also has sensitive shoulder keys, which is where I personally assign the drs and look-back funstions, and other controllers have frequently not registered my gentle, intuitive side-of-finger nudge to engage the shoulder-button/drs inputs, but PDS does. Also, the trigger buttons have to be smooth and analogue and these are.One flaw I might add is that the PDS shoulder button did start sticking a tad, after heavy braking, but I found that a small (and I mean really really small) drop of my bicycle "dry lubricant" fixed it. If there were half stars awarded, I'd have probably docked half a star for that. But for this demanding sim racer (and that's all I use the controller for), PDP is the diamond amongst the broken glass.

Firstly I can't comment on the headphone port or how it works on a computer as I brought it solely to have a second controller. The controller in first impressions is surprisingly well built for the price*, sturdy and the buttons and triggers feel great when playing, it definitely benefits from staying as close as possible to the original Xbox one controller design. I also love the colour which is very unique and unlike any controller I've had. Perhaps the only disadvantage for me is that the vibration is really quite strong which leaves my hands tingling after playing for a while. All in all a great controller for anyone who wants a cheap, spare controller or looking to replace their current one and doesn't mind it being wired.Which due to the price literally being double for a first party wireless controller, I would say that this controller is great value.*I've currently had the controller for less than a day so I can't comment on the longevity of the controller. If it happens to break or stop working within the month I'll be sure to update this review

I wanted a 2nd controller for my Xbox for the odd occasion 1 of my nephews is round and we play something in co-op (after my previous controller was dropped and broke the trigger button!).The controller works perfectly out of the box with the Xbox (I haven't tried it on PC yet) and for the price is a reasonably decent controller. The quality does feel a bit cheaper than an official controller (You get what you pay for!) but I think that says more about the quality of the official controllers than the lack of quality with this one as there is nothing wrong with this. The cable detaches for easy storage but the controller isn't wireless so does need to be connected to 1 of the 3 usb ports on the console.(Also means that if you break/stretch/lose the cable you can use any replacement usb cable)Although I probably wouldn't use it as my primary controller I'm very happy with it as a 2nd controller.

Bought controller for xbox. It works well but not quite responsive as original Xbox controller. If u have a PDP afterglow headset u can use controller to turn volume up and down instead of going into the menu which was excellent as I have one and didn't know it did that when buying the controller. Only bad point I can think of is where u plug the USB in it has a square slot which goes round the USB to stop it from snapping which is a great idea as I've broke that part before on an original controller BUT if ur not using the USB supplied you need a USB with a square end as a different shaped one doesn't fit which was a problem for me as my Xbox is in another room nd I've run 5m USB cables through wall and under carpet so I can play in 2 different rooms but with some force it went in.Apart from that its a very good controller Read full review...

Ive been using this controller for many months now, its very good, well made, feels good, and nice light feel in your hands. The (X) doesn't light up like the standard official controller, but its no big thing. - but there is a = light indicator above the (X) that does light up.This would be of benefit to someone who may have weak hands from arthritis, since it is nice and light.Cable length is plentiful, its accurate and responsive, its a great alternative to the official controller, but if you can afford the official wireless one, you should definitely get that, even refurbished ones are around £30.This was £19.99 when I purchased, and I don't agree with the price increase.

Good controller.Had for 4 months and no problems at all.Replacement for wireless controller. Was difficult choice of where to buy and whether controller with wire would be as good. But am very happy with product.Good quality and don't even notice wire any more.Would definitely recommend and will buy another when need to replace again due to heavy useage.Looks good too!Happy customer. After 6 months of very heavy useage...400 hours plus....One of the buttons became sticky...which doesn't seem unreasonable...it still works fine.Didn't hesitate to reorder and am on my 2nd controller and it feels excellent.I'm pretty demanding about quality and am very satisfied.

Button A jammed, less than 4 months old. Awaiting to see if will be accepted as warranty return, so star rating may change. Was £20, so what did you expect? But to only last 4 mths, you may as well spend extra money and get the official one. No signs of left stick drift, so that's something.Update: TBF, PDP are honouring their warranty and have offered to send me a replacement without much trouble and in quick time. It's great to see a company stand behind its product rather than argue their way out of a warranty. Fingers crossed the replacement will last a lot longer than 4 months!

This controller looks very nice in the white camo colour, and the camo effect gives it some extra grip. I'm not sure about the other colours as I just purchased one, but I assume they are all quite similar. The build quality is suprisingly good for a cheap, budget controller. I purchased it to use with my PC, and so won't be using it all the time, just when i want to play something with a controller. It was quite easy to setup, just download the PDP Controller Hub, and away you go.Seems to be working fine at the moment, hence why I am happy with it.

This is the second PDP controller I've bought and it is far superior to the first. I have no idea if it's spotty QA or whether they've improved since my last purchase. The buttons, triggers and thumbs sticks are all the quality of an official Xbox One controller and the quality I would expect from a first party product. The camouflage detail blew me away. What I thought was just a paint scheme is actually textured on the the controller and triggers and are indicative of lasered metal. Very happy and I expect this controller will last me a good while.

I've never been happy with a single "compatible" I have bought until now, and I've tried well over ten+ different makes/models of pricey alternatives over the past decade.I just don't have the money to buy a wireless right now but want a controller for my PC and XBOX games, so I took a chance with this and I'm incredibly impressed. The finish is slick, feel feels quality, and it works exactly as an official but the price is less than half that of a non-standard finish controller.I'm impressed, and I'll be looking at PDP controllers for the future.

This is my third PDP wired controller.Feels good in the hands.Lighter than wireless. The rumble is kind of crappy compared to official pads.Every other use “AIDS” is transmitted via the microphone to anyone joining your game or party - an awful noise that can only be remedied by pulling out the cable for a second and replacing it.After a while the cable gets loose and you lose power when some 5 year old starts building above you on Fortnite. Then you buy another. It’s worth the money though.

I ordered this as I broke my analog stick on my first controller. This works perfectly however I frequently have to turn it on and off if I need to use a headset as once I plug it in I get no noise. However this is fixed just by taking the wire out and popping it back in. The wire is approx 3 metres long and is very durable. Think I’ve dropped this controller 3 times and it still works so very good value for money and I recommend it to anyone that wants to buy an inexpensive new xbox controller.

Bought this controller as my original xbox controller’s analog had broken. This is a far cheaper and better replacement. Plugs directly into any usb port on the xbox and connects instantly. An app that can be downloaded for free in the xbox store allows you to customise the controllers sensitivity, deadzone settings etc allowing you more control over your handset. I use for gaming and find since being able to modify my controller settings my gameplay has improved slightly. Would highly recommend
