I have a Dyson cordless , battery now lasting less than 5 minutes so time for a replacement. Vacuum cleaners can be extremely expensive! Did my research and Miele came out tops. I have not been disappointed. As soon as you unpack it you can feel the quality . Suction is amazing! Relatively lightweight, I can nip up and down the stairs with it ( now in my 60’s so that was important). Very pleased with my Miele; great price, good quality, nice to look at, fits in my cupboard, and it really cleans

This is my second Miele hoover and I am very pleased with my purchase. It picks up well, is light to carry and move around and good value for money. I would prefer the cable lead to be longer but that is a minor issue. Attachments are great but not sure I like these attached to the outside hose (on the old model they were under the top flat of the hoover which stored them safely although perhaps a little more difficult to access). The bags are quite expensive but overall I am very pleased.

This vacuum is easy to use and compact to store. The differing suction grades are useful as we have a variety of different surfaces. It all clips together well so no bits come apart when you are using it. The only flimsy bit is the attachments holder that clips onto the end of the bendy pipe - that will not last long, but it won't effect the performance of the vacuum. Good for our cat's fur too. It is lightweight. We had a good service from Argos using the reserve service.

To be fair I took ages to decide on this cleaner..I have 2 others. So it was a bit like Goldilocks and the 3 bears. One cleaner is good on the stairs, one is good for the car..etc I needed a light weight easy to use, compact cleaner that does it all..this is it.!!There is nothing to dislike about it..4 different settings which is fab, the cord rewinds away, extra tools. I don’t collect hoovers the others are heavy and hard work. This little hoover is ten out of ten for me.

I bought that hoover to replace the cordless one that I wasn't to happy with. I needed strong power in the hoover as I have a cat and need to hoover every 2 days . First of all it is powerful small hoover , doesn't take too much space in the cupboard and it has a long pipe which is really important in tidy spaces. It is really easy to quick take off the end of the pipe to hoover in the corners and recesses. It is quick and easy hoovering with that hoover I really like it.

Have had Miele vacuums since the 1980s & wouldn’t buy anything else! Bought this for my daughter & she is really pleased with it. The C1 Compact is lightweight yet powerful, and comes with a bag and filters installed so it’s ready to go. The power adjuster is really easy to use, so you can change from vacuuming the floor to your curtains in a second. The C1 Compact’s cleaning tools sit outside the machine but can easily be removed. Highly recommend this product.

Needed to replace my much loved, but very heavy, Henry. Miele always seem to get good reviews and, although it's early days, the machine has been fine. Good suction, very lightweight, and seems very solid. Not much in the way of tools and the main head is all plastic (no steel) so doesn't glide as easily over carpet as I would like. However, it does the job pretty well and is easy to carry and store. Thought it should have come with at least one spare bag though.

I have 3 dogs and this hoover picks up the hair with ease. Lightweight for lifting up the stairs. My carpets are like new. The suction is so good it moves my rug along the floor. It is worth spending the money on this hoover. The tool kit that clips on is really handy for doing skirtings etc. I have had a Miele before at lasted over 10 years and was a brilliant hoover which is why I got another after buying other Hoover's which weren't a patch on this hoover.

After years of using heavy or simply rubbish vacuums, I decided to put a little bit more money towards the purchase and it changed my perspective on buying other items too.The vacuum is great, it does the job perfectly. I have a small flat and it fitted perfectly under the boiler. Small, but powerful. I remember using one of those £35-50 vacuums - never again. Great buy, looks good. I can say with a great confidence I will continue using Miele.

I bought this to replace a Dyson, which only lasted just over a year - the plastic dust collector broke. I aready own the larger Miele cylinder vacuum cleaner which is still going strong after 10 years, so this compact design looked a good lightweight option. I really can't fault anything about it, so easy to use with effective suction power. It copes with everything needing to be vacuumed, including dog hairs, and I recommend this product.

Having used this make for the first time...I will now never use anything else. It is light weight....has a great cord length....has a great hose length.... great holder for attachments.....best of all it has great suction power & the bags are first class no messing about with the dust they seal when taking them off.It is more expensive than some cleaners & the bags are expensive but it is worth paying the extra. First class machine

What an amazing vacuum cleaner. Sleek and elegant with on board storage of tools, cleverly thought of. The power this little beast has is quite phenomenal. I absolutely love it. I have Nilfisk for my home and never thought anything would beat it, but Meile certainly has it covered. It stores away neatly with a little notch for securing the hose in an upright position. They really have thought of everything. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with the Miele hoover, I wanted something very light to pick up and carry , I have found the hoover to have good levels of power to pick up different tasks in the home. I have had other hoovers in the past which have broken in a short space of time. I looked at the reviews and was pleased with them so I decided to purchase one and I can say I would recommend this product .

This vacuum cleaner is amazing it's clean efficent and very powerful. It's certainty worth the money as this machine is robust and my last mile lasted 10 years and went through 5moves on which we did the houses up so we had a lot rubbish. We also have 2 golden retrievers and the machine is great at picking up dogs hair to.. go on treat yourself you will not be disappointed

It's a great little machine although it costs from Argos somewhat more than from John Lewis but Argos has a better returns policy, if there is a problem with your machine. However, it still is not that efficient to store away as you either have to store it flat if the hose is attached to the main body or store it upright and keep the hose off. It's not very convenient.
