Best boots on the planet in my opinion. This is my third pair..first pair lasted 10 years, wore them daily, as my main shoes, also for mountain walking, working (carpenter). Bought a more expensive pair inbetween which lasted 3 years, then went back to Meindl (my second pair), which I still have, they are 6 years old and still look great, have had them resoled once and they are still in great condition. My new pair are for 'best', they're even better than my previous two pairs, look great, feel great..Germany technology at its best...enough said..don't hesitate..

Excellent for winter walking in the Peak District - totally 'bombproof', like being in a tank when recently wearing them on the rain-sodden peat moors, they just cruise through it all. They are very comfortable and feel supportively sturdy, but not too heavy or cumbersome given their purpose as heavy duty trekking boots.

Great quality and excellent materials. The boots are a little heavy but soft as a glove, really good grip, high support and stability, just a little harsh on the heel when walking on hard terrain as pavement or rocks.

As advertised, I bought one size bigger than normal and this proved to be absolutely the right thing. An excellent pair of boots: well made and very comfortable from the first wear.

Excellent boots, they were a present for our son and he is thrilled with them. In use at the present time. Service was also excellent and packaging spot on.

I’ve had Meindl boots before but these are the most comfortable I’ve had. Ideal for the walking I do. I like them so much that I bought a second pair.

These were purchased as a Christmas present and since receiving them my Son has hardly had them off, he claims they are very comfortable

Used on EBC trek - very solid, comfortable, amazing over multi-terrain and waterproof up to the top of the laces. Highly recommend

These are very good fitting boots I especially like the ankle support they give quite light as well for a large boot .

My husband is so happy with these boots, I bought them for his birthday present. Every time he puts them on he smiles.
