There is no ‘puff’ or brush supplied and I find it hard to shake the right amount of powder through the 'sieve', into the lid, as advised. I either get too much or not enough! As a 48 year old with ageing skin I find I really struggle with make-up these days. Anything I put on my skin seems to accentuate my wrinkles, powder especially was a complete no. no. I started wearing Maybelline Dream Radiant Liquid Hydrating Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen, after tryng many this is actually pretty good on my skin. I was pleased the foundation didn't set in my wrinkles, however I still wasn't happy that I couldn't use anything to set my make-up. I tried NYX photo finish powder. I also tried Maybelline Fit Me Powder. Neither was any good for me, again the powder just accentuates my wrinkles. I happen to watch a you tube video about applying make-up,

I’m not usually a fan of loose powders as I suffer from enlarged pores and find that these type of powders usually make my skin look more clogged, however after reading some reviews of this powder I decided to give it a try and I am so happy I did! The powder is not too heavy, a perfect match to my skintone, and somehow manages to give my face a flawless porcelain finish without any sign of clogging whatsoever! There’s lots of different shade so it’s very easy to find the perfect match, it’s miraculous at hiding my fine lines and I’ve never ever used a product before that has made my skin look as even as this one ! The price is an absolute bargain, I know they always say Max factor is the make up of make up artists,

Max Factor Miracle Veil Radiant Loose Face Powder, Transparent 4g is a very good mineral veil which provides great set of my foundation as well as providing me with a very nice matte finish.I like the fineness of the actual product as the product is so easy to apply on to my skin using a powder brush, using a buffing motion to allow the product to blend in perfectly.I like how it is presented as it is so easy to place a small application on to the main lid of the powder container, this provides the perfect base for me to be able to get the correct amount on to my applicator, therefore, it is so easy to apply to provide me with the perfect base as well as removing any shiny patches which seem

I was hesitant that the powder may not match my foundation but the colour goes perfectly with my natural skin and makes any foundation I wear look flawless and last a very long time. I have oily skin and it does not clog my pores which is why I really like the product as well as it does not leave a chalky affect. Infact it has reduced the shine on my face and is very lightweight. I do have to use my own powder brush as none is provided which is disappointing as it would have made it easier to carry in my bag however this is a minor issue. There is a lot of product and a little powder is only needed to do the job. A must for anyone who wants to reduce the appearence of fine lines and enlarged pores as I found the powder fills in any gaps in the skin.

This loose facial powder by Max Factor comes in a plastic pot with a screw top lid which reveals holes where the powder comes through.I usually use a translucent pressed powder to set my make-up and reduce shine, so this loose powder took a little bit of getting used to. Getting the right amount through the holes was the first minor problem but sorted this by holding my brush into the pot and giving a little shake and then swirl the brush around the pot to remove excess powder. It doesn't come with an applicator brush or sponge but I was happy to use my own large soft dusting brush.The powder is very light to apply and gives a lovely finish to my made-up face.

I usually use pressed powder but decided to try this loose mineral veil for a change. I did wonder if the colour would be too pale initially for my foundation but the colour matches just fine. The powder gives a flawless finish and lasts a very long time. I have normal skin but dry in parts and it doesn't dry my skin out at all which is why I really like the product. The powder itself is very lightweight and feels soft on my skin. I used a large brush to apply the powder and it was perfect, only a small amount of powder is needed for a good coverage so the product offers great value for money. I also found that this powder covered fine lines perfectly which is an added bonus.

I like this transparent powder a lot, either as a finish over foundation, or as a stand alone light dusting. The powder is loose in a screw cap pot. Inside the pot, the powder has a sort of plastic grid insert above it (this has a tab at one side and can be lifted out if preferred) that allows small clumps of powder through to the top section, for collection on an applicator or brush. This doesn't come with either a brush or foam applicator. I've been applying mine with a foundation brush. I do find it difficult not to pick up clumps of powder when using the grid in the pot, but the powder spreads easily enough and gives a fine, evening-out finish, with lots of subtle, shimmery particles to it.

The miracle veil gives a lovely natural finish when applying make up. I was surprised that it doesn't come with a brush or powder puff , which is a shame . The powder is very loose , so I apply it over the sink yo avoid a mess. The tub is compact and the lid fits securely, so it's easy to carry around without fear of spillage. This is where a small applicator in the lid would be really handy. The powder itself is very sheer , which for me is great as I don't want heavy coverage and it just takes the shine off. It also helps to set the make up and give a nice even finish , without being overly matte or thick. A nice, light finishing powder.

Wow! This is a great product! This is a loose powder which I dusted on when I had on foundation and blusher as a setting powder mainly in the T zone. It would be fine under blusher or on top. It has a number of holes in the packaging to deliver the powder. I cut the sticky tape off ONLY HALF of them in order to keep it from flying everywhere. I shook some into the lid and swirled my brush around and lightly dusted it on to my face. It's gorgeous! It is mattifying and at the same time, light reflecting. It has tiny light reflecting particles that give a sheen whilst being matte. It really looks good and keeps my face from going shiny too soon. I am very happy with it and recommend.

This Max Factor Miracle Veil Radiant Loose Face Powder has an interesting idea for getting the right amount of powder. When you first open it and take off the seal, underneath is a sort of sieve style section with small holes. The idea is to shake the tub on to the black lid to get a small amount of powder, then use a brush (not supplied) to sweep this up. it works to an extent, but it's still tricky to get the right amount.The actual powder is great. My wife found this worked over foundation and moisturiser without affecting the colour as it goes on almost clear, bar a hue that gives your skin a glow. It's not lumpy or over-dry so it doesn't really show up at all as a powder once applied.
