This foundation is supplied in quite a heavy glass bottle with plastic lid and pump workings. I'm in two minds about this. The use of glass (both weighty and breakable) makes me hesitate over whether I'd want to carry this with me. However, the bottle is recyclable and does feel very well made. The pump itself is lockable, and is twisted round to open it for use. Although the pump has a full 90 degree turn it only has binary on/off function and can't be used to regulate flow or amount of foundation dispensed. This is a bit of a pity, as a full squirt dispenses rather more foundation than I actually need so I end up wasting some. The texture is quite thick and stiff,so when this is pumped out it stays on my hand without losing shape or flowing at all. A really small amount goes a long way - just a tiny dab needs to be blended a lot to give even, natural-looking coverage on my face and even then it feels a bit thicker than I really like.Once dry, this has a slightly powdery finish and lasts well. I had a couple of nasty eye-watering hay fever reactions today, neither of which seemed to dislodge this at all, and it takes a fair bit of soap to get any leftover foundation off my hands after first applying so it certainly seems to have reasonable staying power. The shade isn't bad - slightly dark for my still very Winter-pale complexion but should be a reasonable match after I've spent a bit more time outside in good weather - and does a good job of evening out blueish signs of fatigue. Not my favourite foundation ever, but it does give good coverage. This is more effort to apply than my usual foundation choice and more time consuming in the morning, so whilst I'll use the rest of the bottle I can't see myself swapping in the long term.

I'm a Max Factor fan, I normally use their Skin Luminizer Miracle Foundation which works really well, however sadly it appears to have been discontinued and is very difficult to get hold of. Unfortunately I can't say that this Miracle Match Blur & Nourish is a perfect replacement, but it is a good alternative. It matches my skin tone well and provides good coverage, although you might need to cover areas more than once to make sure. It appears to be more fluid and not as thick as the Luminizer but it's easy and quick to apply. It lasts all day which is good, but my skin looked better with the Luminizer, somehow it adds a bit of glow. It's also seems to a slightly darker shade even though both were light ivory, this can be fixed by blending with moisturizer. I have sensitive skin but have had no reaction to this, there is a slight smell from it, not unpleasant or overly noticeable but I was aware of it. Nevertheless, overall this is a good foundation and I would recommend it.

I'm reviewing Max Factor Miracle Match Blur & Nourish Foundation, Light Ivory 40. Here are my thoughts:^^ This is a light ivory coloured foundation, which as the name suggests is very light and great for pale skins. I usually go for this colour most of the year round, but tend to add a slight darker shading during the summer months, to give a summery look to fit the season better.^^ I love how the Max Factor Miracle Match Foundation provides a flawless, nourished and hydrated look. This manufacturer is one of my main go to companies. I can never fault Max Factor when it comes to wanting natural looking shades for natural looking skin.^^ The coverage is indeed very hydrating and flawless.Easily hides imperfections and creates that lovely dewey look, which I love!Overall: Great for a lightweight, natural, and flawless complexion. Long-lasting, too!

I just love this nude look foundation.I've often had success with Max Factor products - they suit me for some reason.I have a nice complexion if I do say so myself, but face it, I'm not young any more and I need a bit of foundation. This is lovely and pale, as per the modern fashions, and gives that 'china doll' effect that is so fashionable now. I don't spread it very thick but it covers blue eye circles, little wrinkles, that sort of thing. It's quite moist and keeps my skin looking hydrated. Max Factor products were invented by a Polish wig maker who noticed that the heavy greasepaint his actor clients wore took care of their skin but was 'terrifyingly' thick for every day use.We have him to thank that respectable women can wear makeup at all in their every day lives. No allergies or rashes with this foundation so far - great.

I would say this foundation offers light to medium coverage on the skin. I have found I need about two applications to get the coverage I want and to cover blemishes. It glides on really easily and I find I can blend it in easily with my fingers. The shade I have been using is Light Ivory which seems to be slightly lighter than my regular brand of foundation (also an ivory tone).I have to say I am impressed with the quality and staying power for the price. My regular foundation is double the cost!A couple of drawbacks - as far as i can tell there's no SPF which is disappointing as I prefer foundations with sun protection. I also had a small breakout on my cheek after the first day's wear.I am prone to skin breakouts but not normally in the cheek area.Overall a nice light foundation that is easy to apply, shame there's no SPF.

As one would expect from Max Factor this is a very good product but also it is reasonably priced.Although I have quite dark hair, I have a fairly pale complexion which makes choosing a foundation quite a difficult task. If the shade is only slightly too dark, depending on the tone, my skin can look orange or a horrid shade of pink, too light and I can end up looking like a ghost. However, Miracle Match and Blur has turned out to be just right for me - it looks very natural although it covers well. I like the container with the pump action as it doesn't dispense too much, so it is rather economical.I applied a fair bit of moisturiser before application and the foundation went on smoothly and easily.A definite 5 stars from me as it's taken away the headache of choosing a foundation - at last!.

I was sent this to test as part of the Amazon Vine programme but being a man I had a slight problem, so I employed my daughter-in-law in an unpaid, semi-official capacity to do the testing and report back. Her words: “This is a well packaged cosmetic and worked fine. It blended easily with my fingers and applied well. I also found it lasted the course well. The only issue I had, and this has already been picked up by other reviewers, was the light colour. A bit too light once I’d been out in the sun a bit. However, if you’re a naturally light colour then this should be fine. I’m happy with the price and quality, and will certainly use this product again.”

This was my first creme foundation and i was so happy with it.Generally i'm a powder foundation kind of gal but this actually surprised me.Creme to liquid formula, it has great medium-high coverage and didn't accentuate any texture on my face, needs to be settled with a powder, light consistency and super blendable.I have mixed feelings about the packaging, i like the fact it comes with its own sponge and in a pot but after a while said sponge become gross even if properly washed. My only complain is with the color range , i'm a Nw20/25 and i got this in warm almond ,i can only wear it in spring/summer when i'm not pale as a ghost .

Does everything it claims. I've already purchased warm Ivory and am delighted with this foundation. It covers imperfections and blemishes and still maintains a natural look. I sometimes just add a little to my moisturiser for a tinted appearance for a change. The golden one I purchased in preparation for the summer, hopefully a good one. The foundation is light and easy to apply and is long lasting. No hesitation in recommending this lovely product. A company who obviously care about their customers as they kindly contacted me to ensur e I was happy with my purchase and assist with any issues I might have. Nice touch.

This foundation applies really easily with either a beauty sponge or brush. It doesn't sink into pores or wrinkles and lasts all day. Unfortunately the shade i got was too pale for my skin so i will have to add some colour drops to it to make it a good match but that i my fault and i'm sure if i had chosen the correct shade i would be more than pleased with this foundation.Lovely pump dispenser which makes application easier and is more hygienic than some other methods. Good quality glass bottle too. Bargain for the price. I would buy this again but just be careful to choose a shade closer to my natural skin colour.

I find some foundations far too heavy for my (ahem) mature middle-aged skin tone as they can sit in the lines. That said, Max Factor foundations are always great and fantastic quality for the price paid. This sank into my moisturised face nicely, especially considering that I applied it using my fingers as I can never be bothered to dig out a foundation brush or a sponge. When I touched my face the colour didn't transfer, which was great. The colour, Light Ivory #40 was a 'miracle match' for my light-medium fair skin tone. A great product.

My new favourite foundation ,I have used various max factor foundations for years and as I am now sixty my present one was feeling a little heavy thought I'd try this in beige for my sallow skin with warm undertones , the coverage was good enough to cover some broken veins on my cheeks but nice and light doesn't feel like your wearing make up and it really does adapt to your skin tone and it lasts for hours ,I used to blend two colours to get my perfect match l can t believe I've found the perfect colour at last

This is a lovely high street foundation. The colour match is great for my skin tone and the lightweight formula is buildable to a full coverage on the days I feel I need a bit more. Its a good consistency that isn't too thick and heavy nor to runny and sheer. It doesn't seem to wear off by the end of the day and doesn't slid off with sweat like others I've tried. It has a lovely soft finish and I often don't bother setting with powder as it's set quite nicely by itself and isn't shiny.

A good base for everyday - not too heavy but not too sheer either. The applicator is good too - not too much product dispensed.I found the foundation easy to blend with a brush - less so with a sponge but that might just be me.Good coverage and colour - just be careful to colour match carefully. As the sun has arrived my skin colour hs tanned a little so I'm not liking the match at the moment, but come the winter when I'm paler it will be fine.Good value and quality.Recommended

This “Light Ivory” shade perfectly matches my pale complexion. It has a rich creamy texture and applies smoothly. It feels lightweight but offers a good coverage. I feel this product has achieved probably the best coverage I have ever had. I kid you not, this foundation is an exact match for my skin tone and gives my skin a really smooth, even appearance. I am absolutely in love with this foundation.
