This is a really unique product from Max Factor but it falls short so I'm only giving it 4 stars. Max Factor is one of my favourite make up brands so I had really high hopes for it and thus was a little disappointed. The packaging is very unusual. At first I couldn't work out how to open the pot. I opened it with the sponge at the bottom which is a hinged flip lid and then tried to flip the lid of the foundation side until I realised that the foundation lid is a screw top which is actually the bottom! So the sponge sits at the top.. are you following me? Haha. It's a great idea and means you won't get any wastage of product as you can reach all of it unlike pump bottles or dispenser bottles where you can never get to the bottom.I think there might be less product in the pot as well although you use less when applying with a sponge. I'm not a huge fan of using a sponge to apply foundation - I much prefer to use my fingers for a good even coverage plus it's more hygienic. I used the sponge this time for purposes of testing it but in future I will be using my fingers to apply. Please note there is no mirror in the tub so if you use this for hand bag touches up you will need a separate mirror. The size of it does make it useful for travelling with. Also note it contains Hylauronic Acid which it seems is all the rage with make up and skincare products at the moment. Apparently it keeps the skin hydrated. The foundation is a clever cream to powder formula that glides on nicely and feels good on the skin. However the colour I chose Creamy Ivory was too light I think as it didn't give me full coverage compared to my normal foundation (bottle). I've attached 3 pictures showing me without make up (just primer applied), with just the foundation (applied with the accompanying sponge) and then with full make up including my own concealer and finishing powder). As you can see the foundation alone provided some good coverage of my acne scars and redness but not as good as my normal brand. I had to use a lot of concealer to get the flawless look I desired. And therefore whilst I like the foundation and I like the pot I won't be reaching for this as my first choice in the future.

I was looking for a good compact foundation to replace one I had from a high-end brand whose initials are B.B. and I was therefore keen to try this new Miracle Touch compact by Max Factor - a brand I trust. The foundation is a ‘solid to liquid’ formulation that contains hyaluronic acid, the stuff that makes up anti-ageing injectables and that is also found naturally in the human body. It also has an SPF30, which is way higher than what my old compact offered - a very promising start.I have combination skin, so I applied the foundation over lightly moisturised skin. I didn’t use a primer as I need to first figure out what primer would go with this product. Applying the foundation with a foundation brush (my favourite: 'Expert Face'by Real Techniques https://www.amazon.co.uk/Real-Techniques-Expert-Make-up-Brush/dp/B007O7AZBG/) was easy and I quickly built up a decent amount of coverage that looked natural and not cakey. Although the shade I was offered (Light Ivory) is a tad too light for my skin tone, it is still wearable after a dusting of B.B. Illuminating Powder and some blush.Several hours later, my face didn’t look too bad. There was some oiliness in the usual spots on the T-Zone, but blotting fixed it and didn’t remove the product. The colour didn’t seem to oxidise and there were only very slight patchy areas under my cheekbones - but barely visible. Considering that Max Factor is what we would call a ‘drugstore’ brand, I am very impressed by the quality of this Miracle Touch foundation and I will keep using it - as an alternative to my trusted liquid foundation. If you are looking for something to take with you when you’re travelling, or for when you’re short of time, this could well be the product for you.

This is absolutely lovely and completely different any solid Foundation I have ever used before. This foundation comes in a solid form. Inside the container is a little sponge that you use for application. For best use, slightly wet the sponge and this will make it apply much easier and more smoothly. In the container this looks really dark but once applied it completely changes and was perfect for my skin. As you are putting this on the solid foundation turns almost to a serum like consistency. It's whisper light, so I thought that it wouldn't give much coverage, but in actual fact it's amazing! Even though this is super light and it feels as though its barely there,it gives incredible coverage and evens out skin tone giving a flawless appearance. It lasted quite a long time too without needing touch up for several hours.I did find that it wasn't that good around my eye area as it tended to accentuate any lines or wrinkles in this area and made me look tired, but according to a recent beauty consultant I spoke to recently only concealer should be used in that area anyway. This comes in a handy compact container with a little sponge stored underneath.I do think it would be better if you used a foundation brush instead of the sponge as you will waste less product.Overall I was really impressed with the performance of this foundation. I think it's really good value and I would definitely look to buy this again.

This foundation is a handy product for your handbag or when travelling, the size and the fact it comes with a application sponge lends itself to this. The sponge is a great way to apply the foundation, however it can easily be apply by brush too if you wish. The sponge is hidden away in the lid of the product; the lid has been carefully design for the cleaning of the sponge as well.I have fair skin, “normal skin” type with a sprinkling of freckles. Using the sponge I can build up the foundation to a light base, or keep going for a heavier freckle hiding amount. I like the natural look, with my freckles visible. Despite being cream in the packaging, the foundation is not sticky and cake-y.My skin can breathe. The 043 Golden Ivory was a good colour match against my pale skin, and in fact lifted the colour a bit giving my face a subtle warm glow.I am not convinced by the longevity of the foundation to last the whole day, my makeup had to be removed and reapplied- this is why I don’t think it’s an everyday foundation. This could be due to my B.B fixing powered not working well with this product. However, I don’t often wear makeup during the day I generally apply it after work if I am going out - which makes it a go to for me for my handbag.

I was quite intrigued by this foundation from Max Factor as it had a fairly high SPF and contained hyaluronic acid. I received the Light Ivory 038 shade for reviewing ... I have pale skin so this was a good match for me.The foundation came in a an attractive looking compact which has a flip top lid under which stores the sponge applicator and a screw section which stores the foundation itself. The sponge applicator is quite disappointing as it is very thin and not particularly thick, I in fact used a spare makeup sponge that I already had in my drawer. The foundation has a nice creamy texture and goes on really smoothly. The colour is perfect for a light ivory skintone such as I have and I found that it gives a good medium coverage although I did need to use a concealer underneath this foundation. After a few hours of wear the foundation was still covering pretty well although I did need a slight touch up in areas. Not really sure whether the hyaluronic acid is actually doing anything for my skin, there's only a small amount added however it does top up the hyaluronic acid serum that I use first thing in the morning and last thing at night. At the very least it can't be doing any harm and may even be doing some good.

First impressions are that the packaging looks great, it’s a good size, looks like it will last a while and it’s refreshing to have a foundation that’s easy to carry around (my normal foundation is in a heavy bottle). The shade I have been trying is Light Ivory. It appears to be a good match for my fair skin and I normally opt for ivory shades. What I love about this make-up is that it glides easily onto the skin. It’s super light and does not feel too heavy or moist or on the other hand too powdery dry.In terms of coverage I would say it provides a light to medium coverage on the skin. I have the odd blemish and dark skin patch which it covers successfully.I also have a little bit of scarring which requires a heavier foundation.I have tried the make up sponge which it comes with (located in a separate compartment). Personally I’m not a big fan of using sponges and I find with this product i’d just as happily apply the make up with my fingers.I normally spend a lot on foundation and this has made me re-think the brand I currently use. This is a lovely product, well priced and great that it includes an SPF when many foundations don’t. Happy with the product so far.

The Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation is a natural looking foundation in a good container that is easy to apply. We received the Sand, Bronze and Caramel colours to try. The Sand is certainly the best for us, my wife tried this first on her olive skin complexion and it looks very natural. The Bronze is a shade darker and still looked good but looked more tanned. However, it wasn't a fake tan look, more of a natural tan, so full marks there. It goes on easily, forming more of a liquid feel to it when applied, so it absorbs well without feeling dry.The case for each of these is well thought out, with a pad in the bottom section, keeping it safe when not in use,The top has a clear window to see the colour through but, sadly, no mirror. The only negative thing to say about these is that it looks as though there is more foundation than there really is but actually it's not a huge amount.Despite the fact that there is only a little foundation, it's worth the cost as it has SPF 30 protection, fairly high for a foundation, and looks and feels much better than other foundations. The big case and lack of mirror are a shame, though.

This liquid to powder foundation comes with its own application sponge all self contained within the one plastic pot. The clear top twists off to reveal the foundation and the black bottom opens like a compact to reveal the sponge applicator.I used it over my usual daily moisturiser and it went on easily and smoothly. It's best to start with a little and keep dabbing for a bit more rather than too much in one go. The Sand colour is a perfect match for my winter skin colour (I use three colours during the year depending on my tan level) and it covered freckles and blemishes really well. I didn't need to use a blur/primer as the foundation has hyaluronic acid included, leaving my face smooth, almost flawless. The foundation starts off like a solid liquid on the sponge but within a minute or two on the face, it dries off to a finished powder look. At the end of the day it removes easily with facial wipes. This is the quickest foundation application I have ever used and I find it so easy to put on in the morning without too much faff. It has a SPF 30 too so will be good for year round use.

The product itself is nice. I use a primer to reduce the appearance of pores first, and this glides nicely over the top and blends in well. Coverage is medium. I prefer a sheer look, so I remove any excess with a tissue, which still leaves enough for reasonable coverage. I have tried this same product in the past, and it settled horribly into fine lines and pores back then (somehow even with primer)- so I was interested to see how this new formulation would work. They seem to have solved the problem. The packaging is not intuitive - I was expecting both the sponge compartment and makeup compartment to be flip-top, but the sponge is kept in a flip top compartment while you have to unscrew the lid to get at the makeup. The screw top is on so tight that I spent some considerable time trying to work out alternatives of how it might open before finally giving it to my husband (who also took a few minutes going through all the flip-top permutations before finally forcing the screw top open). I think the previous version had nested flip-tops (or maybe it was just easier to unscrew).

Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation has given me the best result I have ever achieved in a foundation and is also easy to apply.Beautifully presented in a squat, circular pot with the screw top having a glass beveled-edge appearance and a hinged compartment in the base to house the sponge applicator. I admit that I did not use the sponge, preferring to apply with my finger-tip as I feel the heat of the finger makes the product easier to apply. It blends very easily and the part that impressed me the most is the quality of the coverage, as it covers a multitude of imperfections without having the caked-on appearance of a concealer. I would suggest that only a very small amount is used as this is sufficient to do the job, meaning that the product is good value for money as only the minimum is used.I used 'Light Ivory' which blended in beautifully especially at the jawline., where it was impossible to differentiate between my natural skin and Max Factor's contribution!I can thoroughly recommended this product which definitely deserves my 5-star rating.

My wife has trialled this Miracle Touch Foundation in Bronze shade. It comes in a circular pot about the size of a powder compact. Unscrew the lid and you have a very shallow palette of colour. Flip open the black base to reveal a removable small cosmetic sponge for applying the make up. Of course, you can use your fingers to apply the creamy foundation as needed, but the sponge is useful for keeping things "clean" when you are out and about. The Bronze shade is not as dark as it sounds, it looks fine on my wife's skin which always stays a little tanned looking even in the winter months. She likes the coverage which is matt but not too thick or heavy looking, and the fact that it contains SPF 30 which is useful protection for the face at all times of the year. She thinks that the inside of the flip open black base could easily have had a mirrored surface which would have made the product even more useful for travelling, and would go further towards justifying the price of £14 - for what is in practice a small amount of foundation.

In your mind's eye you picture what something is going to look like. When I think of foundation that requires a pad to apply I imagine something about size of the entire palm of your hand. The 'Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation' is certainly smaller than this sand sits more in the centre of your hand. It is the Touch element of the name that may be the clue as it feels more like a foundation you carry with you to touch up your makeup, rather than your main layer. As foundation itself it does a good job, the Light Ivory is a little on the darker side than I am used to, but by applying a little you can blend it in to match your skin tone and certainly other foundation that you may have put on earlier. The size of this makeup is dainty enough that it is good for a handbag, but it can take a little longer to apply should you be covering your whole face. As a tool to take out for touching up during the night, there is certainly a place for this.

My first instinct with Foundation is to apply it with my fingertips, and perhaps that is where I've been going wrong. I've found it incredibly difficult to find one that doesn't sit on top of my fifty year old relatively pale Caucasian face. When I first applied this one with my fingertips I was disappointed - the foundation was dry, cakey clearly visible. For the purposes of this review I then used the supplied sponge. What a revelation! The foundation went on smoothly, covered those awkward red bits around the nose, and was not visible at all. The colour blends in well, although if I hadn't just had some winter sun it would have been too dark for me. I found that the foundation did not rub off during the day,and washed off easily with a flannel.I've since used the same sponge applicator with my previous favourite Max factor mouse Foundation, and found that too is less visible than it was, although not as good as this one.

A small screw top tub with foundation in the base and a small sponge above this under the flip top lid.The foundation has really good coverage, it goes on best if the sponge is slightly damp as this helps the foundation to spread out thinner and allows you the chance to build the coverage up if you need to, or leave it lighter for a barely there look.I still used a little concealer on my break outs as this didnt quite manage to cover them to my standard, but I didnt need to use powder and this gave me a fresher look.I wear a daytime moisturiser and this wasn’t a problem at all, there was no sliding off. Transference was minimal, even as a face touch-er it lasted well, but there was some on my collar, where it had rubbed off.It has a sunblock of 30 incorporated in the formula which is good for day time wear and will offer some protection against the aging rays of the sun.It came off with a make up wipe with no problem.

I use this foundation to take off the layers and years...It helps remove the surface layers which reduce the fine lines. Some people have complained about the dryness of their skin, which is caused by dead skin cells flaking from the surface layers. All you need to do is 'exfoliate' to gain maximum bonus effects! On my pamper days I use a Micro-dermabrasion skin machine - basically hoover my skin...Then straight into my 'maximum hydration moisturising' routine.I really do love this foundation, it's definitely worth investing in.Especially if you know how to appreciate it :-)It has a total of 16 shade options and the coverage is good too!My skin is combination, with greasier areas around my Y-Zone (nose, cheeks and chin)My application routine...1) Cleanse2) Moisturise3) Prime if you do4) Apply the Miracle Touch Perfecting Foundation5) Apply the rest of your make-up♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
