About a few weeks ago with my haul of smlc, I decided to try a second shade of the Lip Lingerie. I already own Exotic which is a deep red with brown and burnt orange tones to it (looks beautiful with my more olive skin tone) and I was very impressed with it. It went on smooth and pigmented and dried quick. Of course you saw lines in my lip but not very many probably only two or three the most but that's how all liquid lipsticks usually work. It was a tad sticky at the top of my lip but I found that patting down the excess product that caused that had helped a lot. You don't even need a lip liner for this one! That being said I decided to buy Baby Doll. I don't own very many nude shades so I thought I would give it a try.First off, when I open the tube I could see on the applicator that it looked SUPER creamy and pigmented. Although, I tested it on my hand and it wasn't what I expected. On my hand it was not very thick or pigmented. The color was beautiful though. I disregarded my hand test and tried it on my lips. It went on smooth but thin and there was not much color payoff. After this disappointing test I tried again in about a week. I found that if you use a nude/pinky beige lip liner and fill in your lips with it first it goes on SO much better. Also for me 2 or more coats worked much better than just one. After so many coats it does get drying and shows a lot of lines, more than Exotic did, but again all liquid lips do that. These both smell very cupcake like, or vanilla and look great! I bought three colors if the lingerie line-corset, push-up, and my favorite, lace detail. I will admit that I was skeptical of this product since the formula looked cracked and I thought it dried out, however, once it tried it out, it worked pretty well. The application was really smooth and it dried fairly quickly without drying out my lips. I could do my daily activities without worrying about leaving a lip trail, HALLELUJAH! My one regret though is that I wasn't paying attention to my own skin tone as the corset lip color matches my skin tone a little too well, making it appear that I don't have lips. On the other hand, the push-up color was definitely a very deep pink color that almost appears like a light maroon.It's great for if I want a slightly bolder lip when I'm out with friends. Finally, the lace detail color was a very subtle pink beige, matching the color of my lips that goes perfectly for an everyday look.In the future, I would definitely buy more of this product and test out other colors such as: ruffled trim, bedtime flirt, and maybe baby doll. i've purchased quite a few lipsticks from nyx, including abu dhabi, cherry skies, exotic, french maid and ruffle trim. my favourite is definitely exotic, as i love its reddish pink colour. i find that it looks nicer with a lighter coat. as i have pale, yellowy skin (i'm chinese), nude lipsticks like ruffle trim kind of wash me out. besides having rather nice colours, the liquid lipsticks are really creamy and easy to apply. they don't dry out when you're wearing them. however, the applicator is kind of bulky, which makes application a bit hard, especially with darker colours (you wouldn't want to smudge them, trust me). the lipsticks aren't very light on your lips - you can definitely tell that it's there.they also rub off really badly. you can expect to go for a meal, and find that half of your lipstick is gone. the lipsticks also kind of crack, and leave your lips kind of dry after wearing it for a full day (as do most liquid lipsticks). in conclusion, good value for money if you're a bit strapped for cash. if you want yourself a lipstick that won't rub off, it may be worth investing a bit more.

I was looking for a brownish-red-orange shade and picked up Seduction (LIPLI 17) and immediately fell in love. It's quickly become my favorite go-to shade and I highly recommend it for medium skin with yellow undertones. The Lingerie collection is amazing in itself - the pigmentation is fantastic, the lipstick is long wear and lasts much longer than the soft matte lip creams and on top of it all it does not dry your lips out (unlike the Kylie Lip Kits) which is a HUGE pro. I also use Jeffree Star matte lipsticks from time to time but feel that it is very heavy and easily becomes cake-y (especially when I try to reapply throughout the day)I feel like I'm running the liquid over flakey dryness making my lips look unruly and not well cared for whereas the Lingerie formula is lightweight and smooth. If you're debating on purchasing this product stop thinking and do it - it's definitely the most bang for your buck!Another recommended Lingerie shade for medium skin tone with yellow undertones would be Bedtime Flirt (a soft nude pink).

I tried this anyway even with the "it made my lips dry" comments. I always put on a lip balm before doing anything else, proceed through my morning stuff and the come back and put on whatever color I'm wearing for the day otherwise literally everything makes my lips dry and cracked. With that method, this was fine. It went on smooth, good color, no clumps (less clumpy than the "soft matte" lip wands I have been buying. Staying power is less than those through eating a meal where you have to blot lips to get rid of crumbs, etc. It was mostly gone after breakfast and 4 times of wiping at said breakfast. With the others I usually come home and it's lighter but there.Didn't bother me since I usually only eat a yogurt so at work it'd be fine, just weekend breakfast is different and I expect to have to reapply anything I'm wearing after lunch anyway at work.Color was nice if a little understated from the photos on the website model but my lips are naturally darker so if you have light lips you'd see more difference.

I bought these in Honeymoom, Bedtime Flirt, Teddy and Beauty Mark and the colors are beautiful but the formula is only okay. The lighter colors, for me, were very patchy so I had to layer it a lot, and they did settle quite a lot in the cracks of my lips, but the darker colors (honeymoon and Teddy and Beauty Mark) went on beautifully. These dry to matte very quickly, and thats great for when I'm in a rush but if youre a perfectionist and you like to take your time with liquid lipstick, this isnt going to be the best. Despite my experience with the lighter shades, I do plan on getting a few more of the lighter shades. I love this line because I love nudes, and there really is a nude for everyone in this line.However I still prefer the formula to Liquid Suede. These arent as comfortable as Liquide Suede; the formula is much more dry and its similar to the Soft Matte Lip Creams. If you like the Lip Creams formula you'll probably like Lip Lingerie formula. I purchased this product, shade "exotic" LIPLI 12, and was not disappointed. The wand is a fair size and holds enough to apply an even layer. The texture is extremely smooth which felt like chapstick and the pigment is rich. I didn't have to apply more than my usual "one coat" all around. I didn't see nor feel any cracks once it dried and transitioned to matte. Lastly, this Lip Lingerie is durable (after it's dry). I didn't see fading in the color after eating, drinking, and kissing my spouse. The only reason for picking 4 out of 5 stars is lack of color choices. My skin is fair and at times is compared to being porcelain white which creates obstacles for me when picking out lip colors.The nudes-choices aren't nude for my skin tone, which is fine, and the browns are too dark so my choices were pretty narrow. My undertone is pink so I like to stay with red and blue based lip colors. Other than my personal preference exception, I would recommend this product. :)

I bought this a few weeks ago in the color 'Exotic' and I love it! My teeth are naturally yellow and too sensitive for whitening procedures. This color makes my teeth look way whiter than they actually are, which I love.This product is slightly drying, but a chap stick underneath fixes it all up. I just quickly toss one of my EOS lip balms on before applying lip lingerie. Not a big deal whatsoever.So why did I rate this 4 stars instead of 5? Because the doe foot applicator sucks! For such a great product, the applicator is extremely disappointing. It's a bit too large and way too flat. It distributes the product a bit lumpy sometimes,and it takes quite some soothing to get the product evenly distributed even though it is easy to work with and buttery. I adore this product, but NYX, please please please make a better doe foot! It would make the entire experience of this liquid lipstick so much better. I love the formula, just not the packaging.

After seeing all the hype these lipsticks get on the internet, I needed to get my hands on one. I purchased the Lip Lingerie in Exotic, and for me, it's more of a dusty brick than a "warm mahogany red." The color looks nice with light makeup or none at all, so that's a big plus for me.At first, the product seemed separated but after a few pumps it all came together. What does make me uncomfortable is the smell and that it's really drying (I reaaaally recommend applying lip balm before the liquid lipstick). It cracks a little, and I have to make sure to get enough product on the wand to get a nice and even color payoff. Too much product on your lips will definitely crack, but too little will look uneven and patchy.Once it dries, it does stay a little sticky, but it'll last as long as you're not eating or drinking without a straw. I still use it, I still like it, I get lots of compliments with it. Will most likely buy again in other colors :P

Bought one in shade Bedtime flirt about a month ago. Always wanted to try matte cream lipstick and found these. First of all the colors are great and everyone can find hers/his perfect nude. I like how this lipstick looks on my lips and how it feels. A lot of people consider that it's very drying but I have no problems with it. Probably no lipstick can dry my lips:D It's easy to apply and goes with a lot shades of lip pencils. The real minus that right after drying it feels sticky, but you can gently touch your lips with a piece of paper and that 'stickieness' will be gone. First time it also will be lasting on cups or cigarettes and if you eat something oily the lipstick will wipe off.Overall I can say that it's a great lipstick for everyday, it has great coverage, colors and price and I really can close my eyes to the stickieness and printing onto the cups because of that and put the mark 'good'.

Finally managed to get my hands on Embellishment, and while I like how it applies, I don't love the color. This is my second lipstick lingerie purchase (I also own bedtime flirt which I love). In my mind, I rank all lipstick lingerie products a bit behind the soft matte lip cremes because I don't like the formula as much. They do stay on longer but they are always a little tacky and they dry your lips out more. I was super excited about embellishment, but it doesn't look like I was hoping it would from other reviews. I'm very fair skinned and have orange-ish undertones, and instead of looking dusty rose or lavender, it just looks grey and much darker than I thought it would.A fun tip if anyone else is running into this, I've been mixing a tiny bit of soft matte in Zurich and it's brought it back to the color I was expecting from other people's photos.
