I have tried a ton of foundations, from very cheap to super expensive, and I can honestly say this is the best foundation that I have ever tried. I actually have dry-to-very dry skin, however, where I live at it is super hot and humid almost all year round. This foundation doesn't make my dry skin feel super tight or look ultra flaky either. It is matte, but it is a comfortable matte. It doesn't feel heavy on my face at all, and most importantly, I do not have to set it with powder, because it doesn't crease on me at all. I haven't encountered problems with blending it out, and for those that like medium-to-full coverage, I highly recommend applying this foundation with a foundation brush.For lesser coverage the use of a beauty blender is best. However, beauty blenders do absorb a lot of foundation into them, so that's definitely something to consider, if you truly want to get every bit of your money's worth with this foundation. And, please know that in order to get your exact shade, you will need to give the foundation some time to set after swatching it on your jawline or face, however, after it sets down, the shade will dry down to it's true color. Which is why, it is definitely best to get color matched in-person first. However, if you don't live near a store that sells this foundation that allows you to get color-matched for it in-store, then NYX does offer help with finding your exact foundation shade on their website. For reference, I have been shade matched to NC30, NW30, N2 and Medium in MAC. I purchased Buff and Medium Buff in this foundation. My undertone ranges from sometimes being pink to sometimes peachy. Which is why, I either lean towards using foundations with neutral or golden warm undertones to them. Wearing foundations with pink undertones only exacerbates the pinkness in my skin, and I don't find such to be flattering on me at all. Oh, and this foundation truly doesn't transfer, as you can hug and kiss someone and the foundation will not come off on them, nor have I noticed it transferring on anything that it comes in contact with. Also, there is no fragrance to this foundation at all, and it is definitely very long-wearing too. I can't speak on it lasting on my face for 24 hrs, because I don't believe in wearing foundation for 24 hrs ever, however, it definitely does last until I take it off, without it breaking down at all. Now, I must say that whatever products you put under a foundation, such as either ones facial moisturizer and/or face primer will affect the wearability of a foundation, including this one. Not everyone needs to moisturize their face. This is totally dependent upon ones ski type. Therefore, If your skin is producing too much oil, then the usage of a moisturizer is not a necessity. So, you can just skip such and just use a primer only underneath your foundation as needed. I must say, that some face primers are predominately good for skin smoothing and not oil control. Which means, that because they are either very moisturizing or filled with lots of silicone in them, they can actually cause the foundation to break down faster than without. Yes, there are mattifying primers that can leave either an over powdery feel to ones face, or leave ones face on the ashy side, or some can actually start to crumble up in spots on ones face. Which is why, it is very important that what you use underneath any foundation be 100% compatible with such, because if not, it can directly affect how a foundation looks and wears on ones face big time. I highly recommend when it comes to buying any foundation that it look like a second skin on you. You should never buy foundation to give your skin a brighter look, or a darker, tanner look, for whatever reasons, because it will come off being un-natural. Foundation is meant to enhance, not totally erase the existing skin tone you have on your face and change it to a whole other complexion shade altogether. So, definitely keep trying until you get your correct shade match, no matter how many times it takes.Well, I do highly recommend this foundation to all, no matter your skin type, because this foundation provides everything that one could ever truly want from a foundation, period. Plus, it's super affordable and it comes in 45 shades, which is beyond phenomenal!

When I first tried this foundation by NYX I thought I’d found my holy grail. An affordable foundation that it full coverage and actually fits my skin tone (I’m very pale with a lot of redness occasionally and this foundation covers it and matches me so well!)But it comes with quite a few downsides unfortunately that make me hesitate to give 5 stars.Number one is the consistency of the foundation. It’s quite thick, and dries very quickly. It means that the coverage is amazing, almost as good as a concealer, but blending it is kind of a race against time. If you leave it for a few moments too long you’ll find it has dried almost entirely on your face. It’s not a huge problem,but it can be a bit frustrating as you can find yourself using more of the product than needed because it dries so quickly. covering your whole face if you have skin issues like I do can be a bit of a chore.The thickness of the foundation also led to another issue I hadn’t imagined. It has ruined my makeup sponges one by one! It really does cake onto my real techniques sponge and is pretty difficult so clean off, to the point that cleaning the sponge it has actually ripped when trying to get all the excess foundation from it. If you use your fingers or a makeup brush to apply your foundation then this probably won’t be an issue!The only other little gripe is the bottle. If you were wanting to take the black plastic lid from the bottle (to get out of the last of the product that the pump can’t reach) then be prepared for foundation to go EVERYWHERE. It’s sealed so tight when really it could have just been a screw cap maybe? It’s not a huge issue though, just maybe open it up somewhere easy to wipe down when the foundation inevitably goes everywhere haha.In all I still use this foundation daily. It really is great for somebody who wants a cheap but really nice quality foundation, and it lasts almost all day for me. It’s just a shame it likes to eat my makeup sponges and dry to my skin like cement!

First off, if you have dry skin*, you should NOT be purchasing a “Matte” foundation whatsoever as these will always be more drying than any other formula. I have normal-to-oily skin, so this formula wears very well on my skin.This foundation feels super light weight and looks very natural when applied correctly to clean, moisturized skin (the key is minimal product in T-zone). It blends to perfection whether you use a damp makeup sponge or foundation brush. This particular formula also has a wonderful shade range and I was easily able to find a shade that matched my yellow undertones precisely (shade Warm Vanilla). My skin becomes more and more oily throughout the day,so this foundation does begin to transfer for me after about 5 hours of wear. However, this isn’t a big deal for me, as I can easily apply a little more foundation or powder if I need a longer wear, without worrying about a heavy thickness.I am giving this foundation 4 stars because the initial application is not “Full Coverage” as advertised. However, this foundation does build beautifully and can become full coverage after an additional layer.Overall, I am very happy with this affordable foundation and have repurchased it 3 times now. I do my makeup almost every day and each component has lasted me about 6 mos.*For more dry-leaning skin, I would recommend Rimmel’s Lasting Finish 25Hr Breathable Long Wear Foundation (wow that’s a mouthful). I bought this foundation today at ULTA. I went in, thinking the lightest shade would be too dark, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lightest shade, pale, was actually a bit too light! I have never had that happen with drugstore or high end. When it dried down, it was actually perfect for me. The undertone still isn't perfect (yellow), but I can't be too picky being this pale.I haven't been able to fully wear it yet, so I can't say how much it will uphold. But from my first impression I liked it.It was dry for me since I have dry skin, so I need to be generous with moisturizer and primer. The primer that launched with this was laughable at best, so I just use NYX's hydrating primer.The coverage is medium but buildable. I was able to build it up to a decent amount before I thought it would get cakey. I used 2 1/2 pumps to cover my face and neck. If you want more coverage you will need concealer.I think this will be one of my favorites. I currently use Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless shade 102, which is a little too warm. I'd be so happy if this wasn't so drying, but it will be great for when I know I have a long day ahead of me, especially in the summer. Maybelline's foundation is perfect for my everyday, but it's hard to not like a perfect shade match. Also, a pump makes my life so much easier.Tl;dr Perfect for pale girls! Not full coverage but still beautiful. Very drying but probably ideal for oily skin. It felt comfortable and didn't look too unnatural. Use a powder for best results.

I went in store and wanted to try this new foundation and got color matched by an amazing in house makeup artist and purchased it.(also the makeup artist suggested that this foundation be used with Honey Dew Me Up primer, which I did not buy or use while using this foundation but just thought I should mention) Now I'm a girl who LOVES a matte foundation, I have combo skin and anytime I wear dewy I just feel I look sweaty. But anyway this foundation is MATTE! I would recommend wearing more moisturizing primer, because if this foundation was less matte it would just be basic and regular. I've gone to the county fair twice, both times in about 90+ degree weather, all day, stayed until closing for concerts,and honestly worked up quite a bit of sweat (i'm sorry, TMI but true) in the middle of September, and not once did my makeup look like it was falling apart. By the time I got home in the wee hours of the morning my makeup was still FUN, FRESH and AMAZING. The only place it was slightly gone was on the bridge of my nose but that's just because I wear glasses, but even so compared to other foundations it was very little rub off. THIS FOUNDATION IS THE MOST AMAZING FOUNDATION I HAVE EVER TRIED and I've tried a lot, searching for a product as great and has the staying power as this foundation. It's full coverage, it's light, it's easy to you, it's extremely long lasting BUY IT, TRY IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!

The packaging of this product is nice. Clear glass bottle, with a black pump. Feels nice in the hand. Since it is glass probably not great for traveling. The foundation comes in an amazing range of shades. I primed my face with the CSWS primer than used a full pump of the foundation. Initially, my skin looked absolutely flawless with just a gorgeous finish. I applied the rest of my makeup and by the time that was done, maybe 20 minutes, the foundation had settled into every nook and cranny of my face. I looked dry and haggard, and my face felt so tight. I really loved the finish of this foundation though so I decided to give it another try. The next day I applied my moisturizer,a serum and a moisture lock primer. I also used only a half pump of the foundation. Perfection! My skin looked hydrated, and the finish was matte but not haggard. If you have oily skin this foundation is going to be a dream come true. If you have dry skin, you will need to add moisture to make it work. If NYX comes out with a dewey formula of this foundation I will be first in line to get it. If this were a dewey formula it would more than likely be getting 5 stars, but because it is a high maintenance foundation it gets 3. I recommend for oily skin only.

I have dry to combination skin and I’ve tried loads of foundation. For a while I used Too Faced Born This Way foundation but the colour wasn’t a great match for me (I’m a redhead so I have quite a pale complexion) and often left me looking like an Oompa Loompa. I changed to Nyx total control for a while, which was brilliant but I found the coverage wasn’t quite enough on days where my skin was more red so I decided to try Can’t Stop Won’t Stop as I’d seen some good reviews... but was skeptical as I have dry skin. I recommend moisturising first if you have dry skin (I also used the hydrating primer from nyx as well which smelt amazing) and blended with a damp sponge, added concealer and setting powder.AND OMG I LOVE IT. The colour is such a good match which is rare. I’ve spent all day in a chemistry lab with goggles on and it did not budge, nor did it transfer onto them. Massive massive massive recommend. It is so light weight and buildable and I didn’t need to touch it up for a good 8 hours but even then it had only slightly separated on the edge of my nose. I got so many compliments. And it’s affordable!! Thank you so much nyx, you are my holy grail.

After watching over a dozen YouTube reviews, and also reading reviews on this product I decided to give it a try. Based on a the mixed reviews I saw, I did not have high hopes for it but once I tried it I was AMAZED at how well this foundation performed. For reference, I do have oily/combination skin with enlarged pores. Being that the summer is here in NYC, I definitely needed something that was full coverage and also matte.I do have to say that the coverage of this foundation is more medium to buildable as opposed to full coverage which is my only complaint. Other than that, this foundation held up so well for the 12 hours I wore it! When it was time to take it off,it looked the same as if I just applied with the exception of a little bit of my oils peeking through, but that was not a problem in my case. The finish was overall so flawless and airbrushed, it was literally my skin but better! As a person who have purchased only high end foundations in the past, I have to say I will continue to purchase this foundation as the color range is unbeatable as well as the overall performance of it. I bought this as soon as it hit launch date and I've been using it everyday for the last month so I could get a good review in. I have always had to get the palest shade in any foundation and sometimes they wouldn't come close. I used to use MAC before hand, which was near enough £25 a piece, and if you need it £5 for the pump as well, and every couple of hours I had to touch up my forehead and my nose cause the foundation kept going shiny and slipped from my skin with the slightest touch. Now this foundation I'm not the palest shade, Alabaster suited me very well, I can apply this at 6am when I get up for work and it will still be in place by the time I get home at 7pm!! No setting powder.Just primer. Only thing I found with this foundation is that I struggled to apply this with a foundation brush, it kept matting to the bristles before I finished my full face, so instead I got a water bottle spray, spray one squirt of water onto the sponge to stop the foundation sticking to it then blended away, and it worked so much better! Only needed 2 pumps max for full face with sponge whereas the brush took 3.

Tarte rainforest of the sea was the first foundation to match my skin exactly (shade:tan sand)... I thought I'd give Nyx's new foundation a try, bc the price difference is so significant, and now I am honestly not sure if I will even go back to Tarte. I bought the Nyx Can't Stop Won't stop foundation in the shade Honey, and let me tell you, I'm so impressed! For years, I've struggled to find a foundation brand which matches my Indian (southeast Asian) skin tone... Most reputable companies (Maybelline, Neutrogena, etc.) have come close to my shade, but leave a weird whitish grey tint that makes it even more obvious that make up has been applied. (Nothing natural about that!)The Nyx foundation lasts all day,with and without primer, With and without setting spray. I also have VERY oily skin, and my face looks matte from the start of work day (7am), til the end of the actual day (9/10 pm) without having to reapply or do any touch ups Thanks so much Nyx, I'm so impressed with the newest line of foundations and the inclusion of BROWN shades which actually match!

I am one oily lady, so finding a good, long lasting foundation for me is quite difficult... but then I came across this gem! I love this foundation so much! The color range is fabulous, the formula is long wearing with a beautiful matte finish, the formula is emollient so a little goes a long way, and it is so much more affordable than my last “long wearing matte” foundation. Like half of that price! It is so great! This foundation does not irritate my skin at all (I have eczema patches on my face that easily get irritated), it doesn’t crease on me or break up on my skin during the duration of wear, it is very easy to smooth out on the face during application,and I also find that I can go with or without primer with this foundation. I couldn’t be happier with this product, and if you have trouble finding a good foundation and you have oily/combo skin, give this a try! I have been trying out @nyxcosmetics Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop matte foundation. This is about the third time I’ve tested it since receiving it complimentary from @influenster. This foundation is very mattifying. So if you’re looking for a good drug store matte foundation, try Nyx. I’ve tested this using both the Nyx matte primer and a different primer. I don’t feel that the primer made a difference in the long run with how the finish of the foundation turned out. I personally am not a fan of the primer. It is super thick and takes a bit of work to work it into your skin. Also if it sits too long on your skin prior to applying foundation, these dry patches appear; definitely not a product you could wear alone like other primers on the market.I will say by the end of the day (12hrs later) my t-zone area was getting a tad shiny. I started using this foundation a year ago when my colour in a high end brand was unavailable. I also understand that this particular product has alot of mixed reviews but it works for me. I have combination to oily skin and once i apply the right primer, blend and set (i only really set the foundation with setting powder on hot summer days) it stays in place all day. All other season i simply just spray my face with the multitasking spray to blend and set.The foundation is really matte so it is clearly not for people with dry skin and i would not recommend the range not even with a hydrating primer. The only issue i have with the product is that it dries to quickly and you have to either work fast to blend it out or apply and blend in sections.I've been consistently using the can't stop won't stop foundation in cinnamon and would honestly say its a good one to have as a back up, starting to get into makeup or just prefer to shop in a budget. Also it must be good because I get compliments about my makeup which was not normal for me.
