So I like to wear a B.B. cream everyday and light make up. When I first put Max Factors Lasting Performance on I was surprised at how thick it was, but I don’t generally wear foundation so that’s probably why. It comes out pretty thick too! I did a bit of blending, which I find faffy and is the second reason I don’t normally wear foundation, and it looked pretty good! Covered my blotchyness and eye bags pretty well too! So I popped the rest of my makeup on, eyeliner, powder blush and mascara. Done off I go. So I work in a bar and am the manager so I don’t get much chance for touch ups. (See photos, taken before, after (7.30am) mid afternoon and then midnight at the end of my shift!)I was surprised to find that there is hardly any transfer from this product (3rd reason I don’t usually like foundation) and my dark clothes stayed makeup free too! At the end of a sweaty shift I expected to look, as I usually do, almost makeupfree and was surprised to see I still looked fairly good. But my eye bags were defiantly back. When I removed Max Factors Lasting Finish I did have to use both wipes and miscellor water to properly cleanse it off, but it is supposed to stick so that’s a good thing right! All in all this foundation probably won’t make me change full time to foundation but on a night out it will be my new got to product! I love it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I choose the 100 Fair colour, since despite not being ginger, im often as pale, or paler than most red heads- im quite proud of this too, i dont use fake tan or bronzer, so even though the shade was only slightly too dark, to me it seems quite obviously the wrong colour, and compared to my neck, seemed quite orange.. :/ I also ordered Max Factor compact powder in Truly Fair (slightly lighter i believe)so hopefully when i use that on top, it will match my skin colour better. I SHALL be buying again, trying to find the right shade (maybe IvoryBeige?)because the actual foundation is so amazing. The coverage isn't the best though with a little concealer on the areas i want covered would fix that,but the texture is amazing! Its feels so soft and silky on my face, i simply used my fingers to apply it, and that worked fine. It looks really smooth on too, my face looks so smooth and flawless! The bottle IS tiny, but should hopefully last over a month despite its tiny stature- i will upload a picture of it in my hand so you can understand the size. When i try some lighter shades i think i'll do a more indepth review x)

I’m not going to lie I was worried about trying this out but curious as i’ve been using my expensive foundation for a while and I love it. Last week I decided to give it a ago so with trepidation I opened the pack and slapped it on. It initially looked a bit to dark but I thought go with it and when checking in the car I thought it actually was good.Later on in the day I was in the lift at work and having a good check at myself in the mirror. This is still looking good I thought, it does actually last which I was surprised by. The next when it came to putting on make up I used it again and have done ever since. To be honest i’m Seriously thinking about swapping to it permanently. It feels good on,it looks good on and stays on all day (and i’ve been working long days recently). The only thing which wasn’t great was that the nozzle came out after a couple of uses but I stuck it back in and it’s stayed in since. I would recommend to people going forward (and i’m Surprised i’m saying that as i normally would only go for the premium counter products!) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Was considering giving it a 3 just because it was slightly darker shade than what I would usually go for (I have fair skin and medium blonde hair and usually avoid 'beige' foundations but would go for ivory or fair) . However, it still looked natural, particularly as I always moisturise before applying foundation so it blends easier. For the purpose of reviewing I applied one day without moisturising and both times it gave an even coverage and went on smoothly and was easy to blend with my fingers and a brush (just slightly better with moisturiser as I have dry skin). Within 8 hours I have never had to re-apply any foundation & this is no different. It is lightweight and not heavy/creamy.I would also describe as medium not high coverage. I am 52 and my skin has changed a lot, which is more saggy, large pores, uneven skin tone and slightly red. This foundation covered up the red and made it appear more even. I have a tendancy to have oily skin and find that many foundations look great in the morning but by lunchtime have slid off my face, not so with Max Factor Lasting Performance Foundation. The foundation stayed put til late afternoon and I was impressed with how the foundation made my skin look almost flawless for the entire day!The coverage was great, I have some acne scars that I'm very conscious of but this covered them really well without caking and making me look like I was wearing a lot of make up. The product feels nice against my skin and was easily removed with my normal facial wash in the evening.You need very little product for a light coverage (building layers for heavier coverage.)so the bottle will last for ages! This is a great little foundation and I'm impressed with the staying power, I would definitely recommend to a friend - especially if you are post acne and want to cover up your scars for a full day of coverage without irritating your skin. I always look for a foundation that I could take from day to night if needed, in the past I've always had to top up on my foundation but this product I found amazing! It lasted throughout the day & into the night quite well, I'm very impressed. It made my face look flawless and covered really well, I had a few comments from friends about how well I looked and when I told them about the foundation they said they wanted to give it a go... one of my friends used my tester tube and loved it as much as I do. I found applying with a sponge better than a brush, I got a more even coverage. It's a bit sticky at first but it takes a few seconds to dry and then it's lovely and smooth to touch.It doesn't look too 'cakey' as some long lasting foundations do, it's very lightweight with excellent coverage. I would highly recommend this product if you are wanting a long lasting, lightweight but excellent coverage foundation. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I like to use this foundation as an everyday product - I switch to more luxurious brands for special occasions but this does perfectly for work.The product itself is lovely and creamy - I hate watery, thin and runny foundations - this has a thicker, more substantial texture. It blends well with either fingers or a foundation brush and is buildable - so you can layer the foundation according to the type of coverage you want. The product is generally long-lasting but does benefit from a powder being applied over the top - particularly around the t-zone area if you have combination skin.This particular colour (102 pastille) is great for adding a bit of warmth to fairer skin tones.I am fair and blonde and find that this just gives my skin a little bit of natural colour so that I don't look like a ghost - make sure you blend around the jaw line!I have knocked a star off as I don't really like the smell - it's a little paint-like!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this 2 weeks now and completely switched from my usual foundation. It’s in an attractive little bottle/tube. The lid is a plus point with w locking feature. It’s really easy to dispense the product. I use a brush to apply so straight on to the brush and you don’t need a massive amount for the full face. It goes a long way. The good thing is it’s a great colour match, lasts all day and looks nice. The only issue I had was I used a day cream the first day and didn’t let it absorb entirely and after applying the foundation it looked a bit cakey. I just made sure to let it dry properly from then on. Another huge plus is the coverage.I have hyperpigmentation and it has covered it all! Overall, I’ve switched foundation brands so a plus for me and works really well on my skin tone and pigmentation.

I started the max factor lasting performance foundation a week ago.All I can say is I'm very impressed.I don't usually try new foundations because I was happy with the one I was using,until now.A gentle shake and I applied directly onto a sponge,the foundation went on very easily,and didn't take much for an even full coverage.It blended nicely and covered all my blemishes,the foundation is a lovely creamy consistancy but not greasy,the colour is Gorgeous,I used the 106 natural beige,I have very pale skin and this colour gave me a lovely slightly tanned healthy glow, without looking fake.the foundation easily lasts all day and evening without being touched up.I absolutely love this foundation and will definitely be using it in the future.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
