*Never tried this product before or a roll on foundation ever. I tried it on my hand as soon as it arrived. I couldn’t wait! It’s just so different to every other foundation I’ve ever worn. Why I love it:1. PRO: Small enough to fit in your hand bag, without leaking or making a mess in the handbag for touch ups. I love the winding wheel thing you can wind the product up and then down again. CON: of the size is that it IS a small size, so less product... which is why I gave it 4 stars for value for money.HOWEVER! ✨ you do not need to use a lot of the product! So it’s a good size and worth it I guess!2. It is so soft and silky, and blendable and buildable to full coverage or medium coverage. It is not thick and matte like camo foundations at all.3. I LOVE DEWY AND GLOW everything! (Even before everyone else clocked on!) was concerned the full coverage aspect would mean it would be matte, it IS DEWY FINISH. I love it. You only need to use a little of the product like i would say three times on the face. Unless you want full coverage and building it up. Medium coverage is fine for me, I don’t really have any skin issues thank goodness.4. I ordered the bronze shade, first and just one. I loved it so much, as soon as it arrived I ordered 3 other shades in the Pan Stik. Good if you just want to have for contouring as well.I’m in love with the product and the price is amazing on Amazon especially if you are a Prime customer.CONCLUSION: MAX FACTOR is the OG of makeup! The name originates from the term ‘ ‘maxillofacial’ ? clever huh? It the OG brand and it shows. It is not like Rimmel, Maybelline and even some L’Oréal products, it supersedes. And L’Oréal products are an amazing safe bet, always. But, this product is beautiful. It glides, I use a STIPPLE technique for most application of makeup. Or DABBING would be the equivalent with a DAMP beauty blender. Never dragging or wiping! TIP: when applying concealer under eyes, make sure the under eye area is foundation free and clean. Only apply the concealer to the under eye but leave space don’t apply all the way up to the lash line! You CAN avoid creases! Here’s how! The beauty blender spray it with fixing spray! Make sure it’s damp with fixing spray and keep dabbing and rolling under the eye repetitively for about 5 minutes under both eyes in total. It’s all in the application. And TIP2!! USE LESS PRODUCT! When applying setting powder under the eyes or baking, it will not leave creases under the eyes because you’ve applied the concealer properly and it’s been soaked in any fixing spray. I just use L’Oréal fixing spray for the blender but use my faves like ANB Dewy Set to finish and set my face. Also Revolution Pro has a gorgeous setting glow golden type spray. It’s NOT the 24carat Gold one. I have that too, and it’s not as good as the other goldie type Rev Pro fixing sprays.FACE MASKS TIPS! ?!!!The only tried and tested fixing spray that doesn’t ruin my makeup with a damn mask on, and leaves nothing on the mask either! Is MAC PRIME AND PREP. All others STILL leave residue on the mask. So, that’s proof it’s not setting the makeup on the face is it!!TIP 3!!If you are old school and prefer powder based makeup still, using a fixing and setting spray is SO KEY! It stops the cakeyness of powder makeup - powder blush powder highlight etc. Spray after applying foundation and spray after each step all over the face, it will ensure that each powder layer whatever product it is - will NOT sit CAKEY! That is another wonder of setting and fixing sprays, the moisture is necessary especially for powder based makeup.Personally, I have always used and sought our cream and liquid products for absolutely everything and just dust powder blush on TOP of cream or liquid blush to set it. The same with a liquid or cream highlighter- brush a lil powder highlighter on top to set it, and it accentuates the blush and highlighter too! Et voila!Hope this helps! This product is GORGE! Okay, now I’m about to open my beauty bay haul! Lol! ???

I have used this for years and it is one of the easiest foundations to apply and comes in a good range of colours, I always use a sponge but you can apply with your hands or a foundation brush. My favourite colour was always 13 nouveau beige but recently I bought no 12 to try which is a slightly lighter/cooler tone and I really like that too. What I have noticed is that as I get older and my pores have enlarged a bit around my nose and I have a few lines around the eyes this may not be the best make up for me anymore which is a real pity as I really love using it and you can normally get it online for £6 or under and that would last me about a month and a half using every day.It seems to show the pores rather than cover them and same with the lines. Also my skin has changed over time to become oilier around the nose and chin and it comes through a lot with this make up even though I set it with powder. Other than this it gives a lovely fresh dewy finish and people often ask what make up I use but I think it's time for me to go on the dreaded foundation hunt again to find one that suits my skin better now. I would say I will always have this on hand though as I can put it on in a flash and I know what to expect from it.

Hilariously, it's been many years since I've worn this, but I remember it so well I thought I'd review it in short. As a teenager with pretty awful acne I wasn't caught without this, it covered nearly everything up. It's no miracle worker of course but I can't name a £5 foundation that is. Or any for that matter. It's creamy and glides on effortlessly. I used to apply it with fingers as a teenager with no understanding of brushes, but I'm sure you would get fab results with a beauty blender. The smell was not overpowering which is something I notice a fair bit in foundations these days. The only problem is you are pretty screwed if you're very pale. I used to wear this in a fair shade, when I wasn't really aware of just how white I am and my god was I orange. Luckily, orange foundation was the style at the time and no one batted an eyelid. I blended in, unintentionally. Now there is unfortunately no cheap foundation out there pale enough for my skin, but if Max Factor ever did a very very pale pan stik with neutral or slightly yellow leaning undertones I'd be thrilled. ;)I did forget to mention that it certainly oxidized a LOT as well, maybe explains why I didn't quite realise how orange I was.

I used to wear panstick back in the 60's and 70's and thanks to Joanna Lumley mentioning, in a recent article I read, that she still used it, I thought I'd give it a go again. These days I have to really watch what I use cosmetic wise as my skin is prone to allergies. I put it on over a light moisturiser base, as my skin is too dry otherwise, and it goes on flawlessly. It eliminates all the red patches on my face and looks really natural. It does not cause me any problems with my allergic prone skin. I don't use powder with it and it does not over-shine. The colour I chose (from a recommendation from someone in these reviews) True Beige, is a lovely shade which does not look as if you are covered in gunk like some foundations I have tried. If you want the lightest shade I would use this, as it has no pink in it either, which would be useless for me. For the price give it a go. I do think the name Pan Stick will put some people off but I'm so glad they are still making it !!

I've worked my way through so many foundations trying to find one that will last all day. I have very pale, combination mature skin, matte foundations show up fine lines, while illuminating ones leave my face oily. After stumbling across a you tube series ' 15 days of foundation' I decided to try the pan stick after her favourable reviews. I'm so glad I did, I thought I had purchased the lightest shade but this is actually the second to lightest . Thankfully it works well and gives my skin a natural glow the best part is the longevity of the product it lasts all day without a primer although I do personally still recommend using a primer if your pores are noticeable. My skin looks flawless all day with a natural glow that never gets oily.Old but grear product, I see now why this is a favourite of dancers as it never moves even when sweating. After spending upwards of £50 on a single foundation I'm over the moon I have found such a great one at an affordable price

I have purchased the lightest nuance cause I am blond with a fair skin and rose undertone. However, it is not light at all...to my horror,,I found an orange like nuance that looks like brick dust on my face.Such a shame...cause the product itself is really nice.I will give it away :(the texture is very ...strong and you need to work it into your skin thoroughly...it reminds me of a concealer more than a foundationit covers a lot...since it so thick and pasty...almost everything...however will for sure create a mask effect if you are not cautious enough and do not blend it thoroughly. The smell is oldish and cheap but for some crazy reason I love it hahaThe stick itself is micro...so don't expect something bigOverall, considering its value it is a nice product but NOT FOR BLONDES OR FAIR SKINNED!!!

This was my first foundation I used in Shade 12.. I loved it but it was always too orange for my face! So I tried various different foundations... Urban Decay, Kat Von D, Dior and a few other name brands and I hated them all!! They didn't look/sit right on my face at all! I rediscovered this is a lighter shade (the lightest shade going) and it's perfect for my skin yey! Deffiantly won't be changing my foundation again now I've found the right shade. It's great coverage as it works like a foundation aswel as a concealer, with a touch of powder after, it lasts all day! You won't regret it, my skin type is normal, not oily but not dry.

Iv been meaning to buy this pan stick for ages. I ordered the FAIR but was a bit disappointed when it came as it didn't look very light more an orangey colour. I used it anyway, and found it fairly easy to apply but maybe a little dry when it goes on. I had to use loads of moisturiser before and also after to make sure it blended in.I would not buy again because of the shade which is too dark for my complexion. It makes a good concealer as well as a foundation. I just wish FAIR was what it said and not the dark orangey colour. I think the picture was misleading because I wanted a light shade not what came in the post.

I am pale skinned so hate any orange tones, so was delighted to find fair is so natural on me, its smooth and even finish is just lovely, im not a fan of heavy make up so always avoided this, because my sister used it when i was a child and i used to hate the way it looked on her, but clearly she was troweling it on so it put me off for life, im 68 and like most people my age start to notice thread veins and blemishes, and after reading reviews i decided to give it a go expecting the worst lol, but i cant praise it enough, wish id bought it years ago, i just love it, will not go back to anything else now.

I have been looking for a new foundation for a while recently, for a long time I've used powder based products but as my skin is sensitive it sometimes becomes dry so is very noticeable. I've been using this foundation for the past couple of days and I am very happy with it, I had to buy a sponge to help apply as applying makeup with your fingers always leave bad coverage.I'm quite pale and bought the fair colour and have found this to match up really well with my skin, quite a lot of foundations even in their lightest can be slightly too noticeable but I haven't found this with this.

I have combination skin and usually concealer sits on my dry under eye area making the dark areas look much worse. This product glided smoothly onto my skin and the finished effect was just right for me.My skin is very fair and at first sight the colour appeared to be a little too dark for me. I was surprised that it matched my skin tone perfectly and liked the fact that you can build up the product to get the coverage you require. This foundation is not too heavy and doesn't sit in the creases of the skin if blended properly. For best results apply with fingertips or an applicator.

I've been using Max Factor panstick for 30 years. I've tried many brands but always come back to panstick. I'm very pale so prefer the fair colour but also use the True Beige shade of I want a bit more colour depth. Panstick is do easy to apply, either with fingers, brush or sponge. It has excellent coverage and is not greasy. Coverage is fantastic and it lasts a long time. Its also great to use as a top up during the day or especially as a concealer. I also love the smell, it's that glamorous 50s smell that reminds me of pin up girls. Try it, you won't be disappointed

I've seen a lot of negative reviews, but for me, I've been using this product for over 5 years, it's been discontinued near me so I bought multiple ones to keep stocked.I am so happy with this product, I bought it in my usual shade which is the lightest there is, and when it arrived it was a little bit lighter but I am very pale so this is perfect!I could understand if people please read the ingredients and maybe consider that into the fact it's reacted with their skin, I have sensitive skin and I'm one to get reactions but not had a single problem ☆☆☆☆☆

this product is perfect at doing both, I have a few open pores around my t zone and this covers them as if they just didnt exist, something I've never had from any other foundation in the past. it's cream based in the form of a big square lipstick style container, it's colour for me is about perfect too, I have very pale skin which can be hard to match, and I have t admit when I looked at the cream in the container I thought 'uh oh too dark' yet it seemed to blend lighter than expected. i will definitely be buying this product again 10/10

This product isn't exactly 'fair' as described - it's too dark for that - however I am super pale and I love the look this gives me. If properly blended, it gives me a nice healthy colour, and the coverage is amazing. It is so quick and easy to use that it's literally halved the time it takes me to do my makeup. Only problem is that it does tend to wipe off quite easily over time, so pairing it with a really durable powder or setting spray helps. I have used all sorts of foundations and for the price, this one is my favourite.
