Packaging and bottle:To start with, the product looks inviting and I like the design of the lip colour. I like that the bottle has a matte effect to it and the words 'stay matte' are clearly displayed. The product name, 'Rimmel' is not clear on the lip colour bottle, as it is indented in the same colour, into the lip colour lid but is not advertising itself clearly by the product name. I like the indent on the lid, which your fingers are naturally drawn too when opening the lid. The bottle is nice and petite in length, which I like to fit as it will fit comfortably in my clutch bag or purse. Colour and application:I opted for the 'fire starter' colour as I am usually a red lipstick wearer on a night out.The colour is vibrant, whilst obviously being a matte, and is definitely a colour i would normally choose. The brush is a perfect size, extracted enough gloss to cover your lips with one application and was smooth when applying. The main concern I had was that when wiping away the excess or any mistakes, it was on my hands and spread across my fingers. If you don't wash your hands straight away, it stains. Also be careful that is does not stain your teeth, as I had a tiny amount on my tooth, which isn't great for a night out or on a date. Once dry, the lip colour dried to leave a lovely red matte effect which is exactly what I was looking for. As I don't like a glossy lip colour which looks too fake. Again once dry, the colour remained all night and did not smudge on my vape machine or anywhere else. The product was easily removed with a makeup wipe, which I think is really important, as the last thing you want is waking up to smudged lipstick on your pillow or a reminder of the heavy night before. So my first impressions? Smart looking little bottle with frosted glass, doesnt let you appreciate the colour until you actually open it, if i was in a shop i dont think i would have looked twice. But Its bright, vibrant and very appealing once on your lips.Application of the product was made that little bit more difficult by a soft moveable application stick. Looks like a lipgloss but not as firm! Took me a few attempts to get it right. But once it was on......its amazing! Im a vaper, so as usual i put my lipstick on and within five minutes had a metal stick in my gob, this usual leaves smudges everywhere, and my lipstick needing reapplication....but not with rimmel! Oh no! It was dry within two minutes,no smudges or reapplication seen within miles! I tried this out on my birthday, i knew it was going to be a busy day so would REALLY put the product to test. Meal out, drinks, shopping, lots of kisses, and very little time to reapply. But i didnt really need to anyway! No lipstick left on my lager glass (very feminine), no lipstick on my napkin, no lip marks on my wifes face when i give her a good old fashion smacker on the forehead. By the end of the day there was only one reapplication done....after id finished stuffing my face full of pudding. There were little flakes of lipstick at the corners of my mouth, but this only happened once. Easy removable using facewipes at bedtime. All in all! A very good lipstick which i shall be wearing again and again! And i might even buy some other shades! I asked a friend to try it too, as shes as mad on lipsticks as i am, she loved it just as much as me, and didnt have any problems with applying, i guess im just that little bit too picky! Thanks! I was excited to try this matte lip colour, especially in the nude 'latte to go' shade as I've been looking for a good nude matte lip product for a while. Rimmel certainly did not disappoint; the colour is simply gorgeous. I often find nudes to be too brown or have a peach tinge to them, but the latte to go is exactly like described- a warm milky coffee shade. I was also a fan of the texture which felt quite luxurious going onto my lips. Due to the fact that this product is matte, after application you have about a minute to perfect your look until the product sets and becomes matte. I found the applicator to be easy to use and I achieved the look I was going for without too much effort.Once the lip colour set it had a velvety texture which did feel a little strange on my lips as I'm used to a more glossy finish, but I got used to it throughout the day. The lasting effect of this product really took me by surprise; I didn't need to reapply at all. Even after a few drinks the colour was still in place and hadn't faded. I absolutely adore the look that this product gave my lips, it's a very current, edgy look and I think it'll fast become one of my go to lip products for both day and evening. My only criticism is that due to the way the product sets on your lips, it doesn't have any flexibility in the way that a glossier lip product does. For example if you smile really wide then the product can crack and leave little line marks on your lips because it doesn't stretch with your skin. That being said, I'm so impressed with the colour, the finish, and the staying power, that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to friends. With my 50s look I am never fully dressed without a vibrant lippy.Rimmel London stay matte liquid lip colour in plum this show will be a constant fixture in my makeup bag. The packaging is quite simple but has a fantastic shaped handle to enable a secure hold. The lip colour smells great and the wand is perfect for following the shape of your lips. The colour is vibrant, rich, bold and glides on like a dream without being patchy. It dries completely within 2 minutes to a fabulous matte finish which feels very light. The product makes 3 bold claims of being kiss proof, touch proof and waterproof,while lasting up to 12hours.Stay matte liquid lip colour,didn't transfer to my hubby while giving him a kiss goodbye ,the Scottish rainy weather challenged its staying power but it was still perfect when I arrived at work and there was no lipstick mark on my coffee cup. on me,the product lasted 6 hours before starting to flake off but was quickly and easily topped up, the lippy is a great size to fit in my handbag so will always travel with me. While I was at work, the colour was admired by many of my clients and colleagues, they couldn't believe that I hadn't touched it up at all and had lasted so long. A few even tried my lippy on themselves and couldn't get over how easily it goes on and how fast it dries although the plum colour didn't suit everyone. Before you buy anything for your lips I think the main thing you want to know is how long it lasts, how well does it apply and how it feels and believe me - this product delivers in all areas. When I first put the stay matte liquid lip on, I was a bit unsure about the colour, it looked different somehow than I expected, but once it dried after a minute or so, the true colour settled and it looked fab. Rimmel matte liquid claims to last upto 12 hours and be waterproof and smudgeproof so of course this was now the challenge.I put it on at about 7am during my morning routine and as we all do I cautiously ate my breakfast and drank my coffee - checking my cup for remnants of the colour and there wasnt even a single smudge. Amazing! By lunch time Id forgotten Id even got any lippy on at all as its so light and smooth to wear. I only remembered as some colleagues were commenting on how perfect it still looked. Needless to say as I returned home it was still perfectly in tact after 11 hours. This product is practical, versatile and Im super excited to try more colours now! I am sold and would recommend to everyone! People who dont like the often fussyness that comes with wearing lip products will love this and also veteran lippy lovers would definitely enjoy! Max Factor RADIANT LIFT Concealer in LIGHT No 02There are times in our lives when we all feel the need to use a Concealer, and like any items of make-up, there are a lot of choices. For the most part I have used the lipstick style Concealers. This RADIANT LIFT Concealer by Max Factor, is a more liquid type with a sponge tip applicator.1st Impressions:• The style of presentation is a squeezy tube with a snug fit, pull off cap, underneath which is a sponge head.• The Shade name and number is shown on the tube, which is useful when wanting to replenish it.• The product is Made in England.In use:• So, to use the Concealer, just pull off the cap and carefully squeeze the tube.Dab under the eyes and carefully blend in with the sponge top.• I have a pale complexion, and found that this LIGHT Shade No 02 was about right.• I used it after I had applied my usual moisturiser and light foundation, to just improve/cover over small mole like discolouration's and tiny 'blood' marks as well as under eye shadow.• The Concealer was easy to apply, and I just patted it gently to blend in.• The product gave a great result and I found that a little went a long way. In my opinion, this is more of a 'heavy duty' Concealer and really covered well.• It stayed more or less the same all day, there was no flaking or cracking.• I had no adverse reaction to it whatsoever.I think this is a good product and do not hesitate to endorse it. At time of writing, the RRP is £9.99 which is comparable to other Concealers.

I got the opportunity to try the Rimmel Matte Liquid Lipstick through Influenster and was super excited to see how these liquid lipsticks compared to other liquid lipsticks. These liquid lipsticks come in a matte frosty tube with a black top and a doe-foot applicator. The liquid lipstick does have a scent to it that’s not too overpowering but it is noticeable. As far as color pay-off and application, these liquid lipsticks apply very nicely to the lips. I would describe the feeling as a comfortable -matte. It’s not too drying on the lips but it still feels matte. In terms of color pay-off I’d say it’s pretty good for a drugstore. I did have to apply more than one layer for complete opacity.One layer may be too sheer and streaky. These liquid lippies take a few minutes to dry and are sticky until they fully dry. As far as the wear you will definitely have to reapply after eating/drinking and although it is matte, i noticed that it does come off when i blotted my lips with just a napkin. Removal was pretty easy and it comes off easily with some makeup remover. Overall I’d say these liquid lipsticks are decent and worth giving a try because of their awesome shade range, they are comfortable on the lips and their color payoff and staying power is decent. I'm quite fussy about my lip makeup. I don't like anything that feels thick, sticky or gloopy. I am also not keen on anything that smudges easily or comes off after one sip of a drink. I tend to stick to a lip stain as I don't notice it on as much.Today I tried out 'Stay Matte Liquid Lip'. On first look I was little disappointed as I'm not a big fan of a wand applicator - tends to give me flashbacks of tacky childhood lipgloss (usually with a faux fruit scent). However this Lip Colour has taught me that maybe I should not have been so avoidy.It was easy to apply and didn't glue my lips together in a sticky mess like I had anticipated. It applied smooth, bold and dry.I applied one coat in the morning and even after a whole day of wet weather, work and coffee consumption my lips were still Fire Starter red by the evening. I wouldn't say it was completely smudgeproof, but it did fairly well in the smudge test and the pigment was awesome and bright. I was also really impressed with how light it felt on my lips, I could still tell I was wearing lipstick but I didn't get that heavy uncomfortable feeling that some lip makeup gives me.
