I was a little hesitatant about ordering this product as I am not a fan of gold glitzy bronzers, preferring more of a matt bronzer and thought that light gold would be very shimmering and glittery, I was also unsure about it being a 'creme' in the title.Having read the reviews I thought again and ordered it to try.Firstly, it is the most pale light gold in colour,and has a very matt finish, yet kind of glows and illuminates at the same time. Yes, even though the picture gives it a an kind of midas touch colour gold- it is pretty matt when applied. This is a bit of a winner- as every other bronzer I have owned as been , well obviously, bronze! This would be more descried as a 'goldner'- it such a term existed.It is indeed a light gold colour, but because its generic product name is a bronzer it really distracts from what a gorgeous and unique colour it is. I don't think I have come across anything like this colour ever! Secondly, I am a bit puzzled but its description of 'creme'. It feels like other 'baked' mineral products I have,and I can apply it with a soft brush on top of my foundation, before powder, and it blends well, and it will go on top of powder too if you want to add more. Its really versatile, but if you put your finger on it, it will feel like a hard baked powder, not at all creme like. Unusual, but it is an easy product to apply and blend and doesn't seem to streak at all on application.It really does leave you with a healthy sun kissed look, in a slightly slowly and ethereal way- but with no sparkle or glitter- highly recommend, a very pretty and fresh way to leave your skin delicately sun kissed.

I really like this bronzer, but it is not what I was expecting at all. Firstly, perhaps its just me, but when I read creme bronzer, I didn't expect it to but a compressed powder, but it is. That's fine by me, as it is easier to apply, but it isn't like my cream blushers (which I love), where you can dab a little on and work it in - this definitely needs a brush.Secondly, the picture makes it look almost like the lights parts are glowing and that this will be slightly glittery and light. When I received the product, it looked much flatter in colour - with some differentiation in the colours in the compact, but nothing shining out. I was slightly unimpressed, but when I applied it - it works.It's not at all what I expected, but with my fair skin (with plenty of bronze coloured freckles that can look like a tan from a distance!) this is exactly the shade I tan, so adding it to my face makes me look like I have caught the sun over the weekend (when I haven't!) and gives me a healthy sun-kissed look.There are highs and lows with this product - it wasn't the product I expected (a cream bronzer with a highlight somehow built in!), but I do really like the powder bronzer, which matches my paler complexion without making me look orange.

I'm reviewing the Max Factor Creme Bronzer, Bronze, 3 g. Here are my thoughts:^^ First the hype - this Ultra-blendable, streak-free formula is with baked minerals for a natural, sun-kissed glow. Micro-fine pigments and multi-tonal shades blend effortlessly with skin tones. But how does it work really, with proper usage?^^ Pretty good actually! This comes in a container with a clear compact lid and it looks like a lovely bronze, glittery moon, so nice, in fact, it's ashame to use it! But use it I did.^^ I found it did indeed blend very well (with a big bronzing brush) and you don't need to use too much of it for a natural glow. Of course, in the height of summer it's easier to add more and get away with it,too.^^ It is glittery-ish, but that's not a bad thing. It still looks very nice on. I found it comes off fairly easily too, using a gentle make-up remover.Overall: This is great for summer and early spring, but I also find it great for a natural light glow in the winter months, to perk up my skin on the days I don't really need to put full make-up on. Comes well packaged and it's very easy to use for a light (or dark) healthy facial tan. I'll definitely be buying this again.

I love make up and I mean I LOVE make up! I have quite fair skin so usually I have to stay away from bronzer. Most on the market leave me with brown streaks on my face no matter how much blending I do. This max factor beauty is a game changer, the light gold is beautiful in the case and just as gorgeous on skin. It blended lovely to leave me with a healthy sunshine glow. It’s not just for fair skin but completely blendable to suit all skin tones however if you have quite darker skin you will need to build quite a bit. It is so light on my skin that you don’t feel it. I love that it’s mineral based and something light and good for my skin. I’ve tried contouring,just a sweep of colour and also an overall swipe to brighten my face - all works well. This could also be used as a blusher or even an eyeshadow for a bit of a change. I also loved that it wasn’t full of sparkles like most bronzers which makes it look much more natural. My wife tried this, and loved it. (I was impressed too, as the effect is subtle, rather than shouting at you.)“I really do like this. It is compact and it works.Wherever you decide to brush this one you will glow and sparkle - especially useful for the coming festive period. It is easy to remove from your skin.The different multi-coloured tones and highlights marbled within the compact give you a subtly different warming appearance. You need a fairly soft brush, but I think most of us have one or many in our collection already. I have used it a lot and there does not appear to be any noticeable dent in the amount left,so I believe this will last me a long time.Don't worry too much about your skin tone - it blends in so well and it has been tried by various members of my family who all have different colouring, and it suits them all.It is easy to remove from your skin, which is more than I can say for some items of make-up.Well done Max Factor, another brilliant item for any makeup bag.”

I have very pale skin, so I was worried that this bronzer would look too dark and orange. However, I absolutely love it. The texture is hard to describe- I would say it's inbetween a cream and powder- which means that you can put it on before or after you apply powder to your face as it will not go cakey or patchy. When I tested it on my hand, the product did look quite orange and had a fair amount of gold glitter specks in it. However, it blends out into a more subtle colour, making you look bronzed. I applied this product after contour powder and it added a 'glowy tan' to my face. I am really impressed- though if you prefer matte bronzers,then this definitely isn't for you.Edit: I have been reaching for this product whenever I do my makeup now as it is the only bronzer I've tried which doesn't look orange on me- it makes my face look bronzed. I will definitely buy this again when I run out (though so far I haven't even made a dent in it).

I don't wear a lot of makeup, especially bronzer, as I've always been a bit scared of it. My skin is pale and freckly, and i worry about looking orange and well.... rather TOWIE. So I was pleasantly surprised by this bronzer, as it really isn't orange at all. I looked on YouTube for some advice on how / where to wear it, and went slowly.It looks really good used as blusher (cheekbones) and gives a nice glow and contouring. I've also tried it on my collar bones when wearing low cut clothes and that works really well too.It's a good smell, and a good texture - not too powdery. I think that I'll keep on using this in the winter when I need a bit of colour, with or without blusher underneath.I was a little worried that the sparkliness of the powder would make me look shiny and older than I am but not the case at all - I really liked this! I very much like this Max Factor Creme Bronzer.I ordered this bronzer by Max Factor to give me that 'golden glow' during the summer months - making the most of my tan, as like most westerners I don't care to sunbathe as much as I did decades ago.This item is really good - more like a compressed powder, really, but gives a discreet, natural look and does not irritate my skin. The case is easy to open for someone like me who has a visual impairment.Max Factor began life in 1909 as a manufacturer of theatrical makeup, and I have some affection for its continued dedication to makeup that is durable under hot lights, in water, and whilst out and about.As a clerk of the court I sometimes feel the conditions in Court are similar to those of the stage, and certainly Max Factor's items work well for me.For a quality make-up this is a reasonable price and I'm very happy.

I’d expected a cream type product because of its name but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and was a solid block bronzer in a marbled range of gold tones. It’s subtle golden tone blended well, was easy to apply using blusher brush and was just right to give me a healthy glow without looking unnatural. Perfect to feel a bit brighter during the recent snowy weather. I think this shade would work for darker skin tones too and could be layered for a more dramatic look. The packaging is sleek and attractive but the clasp is a little tricky.Long term I’m a little worried I’d drop the package while trying to open it. Otherwise I loved it! Wow such a beautiful bronzer! After trying out countless bronzers from expensive ones to all the high street options to find "the one" I stumbled upon this gem of a product after seeing it recommended by a makeup artist online. I wish I found this sooner, it gives your face the most gorgeous golden sunkissed glow with no harsh orange undertone like a lot of traditional bronzers often have. Max Factor Crème Bronzers are a baked formula with a marbled effect so they give a multidimensional radiant finish and are very easy to blend or build up colour. Applying the bronzer with a big fluffy brush (I use my Real Techniques Blush Brush) works best to give a soft glow,just sweep across the cheekbones and hairline where the sun naturally hits. Great buy and I wish I found this product sooner!

I really like this product! The product itself is one of the smaller bronzers I’ve seen, I’m used to using a huge round pan with a big fluffy brush but I suppose all good things come in small packages! I have very pale olive skin and this colour suited me perfectly, the application is smooth and I found it blended really easily. The description of the product is spot on in the fact that yes you could wear this all year round, it even works perfectly as a contour shade as there’s not too much shimmer/sparkle there! I will definitely be keeping this one in my everyday makeup bag.
