A number of reviewers had previously commented on this product being unsealed on arrival and queried as to whether it was old stock, it being perceived as dry or lacking in quantity. I admit those reviews gave me cause for mild concern but the price of this mascara here on Amazon compared to the stores was excellent so I decided to take a bit of a leap of faith. Mine has also arrived without the truly annoying store security 'mag tag' being applied with glue strong enough to bust your nails when you try to get it off!in terms of quality and quantity I can see no difference between the product sold on Amazon and that sold in shops.This mascara is practically bomb proof and has been my favourite for years,

I have tried soooo many different mascara's and it royally pee's me off when you find a great one, use it for years and they discontinue it! I'm totally expecting this one to be discontinued soon now that I've found it! The last time I went into a well known make up shop I had a melt down as they discontinued my ENTIRE face! Not a happy bunny! How dare they! 1 or 2 things you can cope with but your entire face!!! Nope. Humph. So needless to say I needed to find a new face! New foundation, powder, mascara the lot! Most mascara's don't live up to their claims of longer, fuller, separated and clump free lashes... I've tried enough to know! This isn't the best I've tried, (they've all been bloody discontinued!!!)

I’ve always used Max Factor Mascara, this one lengthens and gives good volume and covers well, it doesn’t clump and because I like to apply up to 3 coats my lashes look lovely, and not stuck together like other brands tend to do!I used for years Max Factor Clump Defy, but sadly they’ve discontinued that one, but now I’ve tried this one, it’s my new favourite mascara!! I’ve tried other brands over the years.... Lancôme, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Clinique, Estée Lauder, you name it I’ve tried all expensive brands, plus high street brands such as L’Oréal etc... and the best I’ve found is “Max Factor” & Benefit Roller Lash (but not their full size version as it clumps in the tube and drys out quickly,

Great mascara in deep navy blue in the great quality mascara you’d expect from Max Factor. I found the thick security metallic sticker annoying and tricky to remove as it didn’t peel off. It has ruined the outer packaging and left a big sticky patch over the area I hold to apply the makeup. Really bad thinking there!!!The colour isn’t noticeable and very subtle. Wouldn’t notice it inside but possibly more outside under the sunshine or a bright light. I think it helps bring out my blue eyes.Nice shaped brush that grips the hairs on the lash and coats nicely. No clumping. Will use for everyday as not too dark against my blue eyes and something a little different.

Have been using a much pricer mascara but decided it wasn't cost effective and would give this a try. I've got long lashes but they are quite fair and this is better than the much more expensive brand I was using. Coats the lashes well and seems to be less clumpy. Almost gives the look of false lashes with a good coat. Doesn't feel stiff or thick. Love it! Can't believe how good it is for the price. I also have sensitive eyes and often find some makeup irritates them - no problems with this so very happy. Only downside was that the tube came without the usual plastic seal on it but the mascara inside certainly isn't dry and goes on very well. Most impressed.

this is the only mascara I will ever use. absolutely brilliant! very dark and a nice texture. the brush seperates lashes well and coats them evenly with mascara. despite not being waterproof I will say it takes some getting off so I use a eye make up remover on cotton pads as apposed to cleanser or make up remover wipes. but it is worth it as it is extremely good. I also find it does not irritate my sensitive eyes at all and doesn't easily smudge or run.it has a great buildable formula so you can apply a little bit for a natural look or a load of it for more dramatic effects. I hope it never gets discontinued!

I had been searching for so long to find a good mascara at a reasonable price (Lancome Hypnose was becoming slightly uneconomical at £20 a go!) and Masterpiece Max literally fits the bill. I was sceptical about using a brush with artifical plastic bristles, but I have been silenced and convinced otherwise. It really does give great volume and separates lashes superbly to leave no clumps. Also very dark black colour. I was pleased too, that it is not a hassle to take off with remover. Four stars not five though, because after a long day of wear, it does start to smudge slightly under the eyes.

after recently having false lashe extensions for a wedding my eyelashes were soooo much shorter when i had the false ones taken off. i was shocked at the damage theyve done. my usual max factor false lash effect mascara had run low so i ordered this one after reading positive reviews...came swiftly with prime...tried it straight away am very pleased with the result really nice to put on, lengthens my lashes with no cmups or sticking eye lashes together... so whilst im waiting for my rapidlash to ick in and bring my eye lashes back to life, this mascara will be my daily essential.

I have used many different mascaras over the years and find this to be both one of the best and one of the most economical. The mascara gives fantastic coverage and length to my eyelashes and does not smudge over the course of a day. I do not find it thickens my eyelashes as much as I would like so combine it with Rimmel scandaleyes for a more dramatic look but use it alone for every day use as it looks very natural. It is one of my favourite mascaras and is also one of the cheapest I use. Will always be a staple in my makeup bag as long as they keep making it

After searching for many years for a mascara that will deliver long, full, dark lashes I have finally found it with this fantastic product !I've bought cheap mascaras and ludicrously expensive mascaras, none of which have ever delivered, but this one does, in bucketloads.It makes eyelashes look amazing, gives deep glossy dark colour to them, lengthens like you wouldn't believe and gives volume without any clumping. It's also easy to take off at the end of the day.Absolutely brilliant mascara - PLEASE Max Factor, don't EVER discontinue it !

This mascara is fantastic! I have quite short eye lashes and not too many of them either, but with this product it really lengthens them and the lashes look lovely. I also use this with 'Natural Angel 30oz Black Instant Brush-On Lash Extender' also bought from amazon. Both together give me such length and volume I don't have to wear falsies! I use a coat of mascara then the lash extender then repeat the step once if on a normal day, and twice if going on a night out.Hope this helps anyone who has short eyelashes like me!!

I love this, been a Max Factor mascara user for years, even if I deviate because I believe the telly adverts I always go back to Max Factor! Only trouble with this was it usually comes sealed from Boots and I don't like buying mascara that isn't sealed but I think Boots may have stopped stocking. Amazon said this came from Max Factor so I took the chance. Not many cosmetic companies do a Navy mascara, let alone a really fine quality one so please MF, don't stop!!!!!!! I get through one a month so I hope all stays well.

I prefer mascara with the plastic type brushes, i also like black lashes which dont clump and isnt to obvious or thick and this mascara is great for that.The brush is the best i have had on all mascaras, it coats your lashes really well without it clumping together, gives volume without getting to thick. it has good staying power too!I really like this mascara however it does run dry quickly/ run out. If it lasted a bit longer it would be 5 stars!Please rate my review as helpful in the box below :)

The only mascara that I have found that actually lengthens my eyelashesThe brush is one of the best I have found still it over loads and can make you look a bit like a panda but it's still the best mascara that I have found.I have tried each mascara that comes out and the very expensive ones but I am never happy I always return to this oneMost of the mascaras I try always make my eyes clumpy and over doneMy eyelashes are long anyway but I like definition and not to look like a drag queen

I LOVE this mascara. I've tried many other drugstore mascaras over the space of around 10 years and I still cannot find another that compares. I am regularly asked if I'm wearing false eyelashes when I have this product on. It is easy to build up to a more dramatic look or just one or two strokes for a more natural finish. I have subscribed to this product for monthly delivery as I am confident I will not find a better mascara.
