I unboxed and went for a 1 hour walk up my local hill (rough grass, stony path underfoot) - very comfortable. I have a slightly wide foot but the shoe was not too narrow for me in the standard size 9. The footbed is comfy and the sole dealt with stones underfoot. Not tested gore-tex waterproofing yet but so far very pleased with this hiking shoe. I would buy again.UPDATE: Went for 1 hour walk in light rain and wet underfoot. Outside of shoe was soaked but my feet were dry. So the Gore Tex seems to work.

Great product and great service I can highly recommend trekking.com shoe sizing was pretty accurate too so no need to return shoes they fit perfectly . Good price too .

Bought as a pressie. Nice looking and comfy. Very surprised, especially for the price, they came in just a plastic bag - no box.

Possibly the best walking shoes I have ever had. Even better than my Echoes, which gave me years of good service.
