I purchased the Mammut Alnasca Low GTX to replace an aging pair of Mammut Redburn Low GTX. Visually, the Alnasca shoes look every bit the evolutionary successor to the Redburn, in fact laying both pairs side by side the sizing looks identical. The lacing adjustment works well, easily accommodating my narrow size 10(UK) feet.I also swapped out the standard Mammut insoles for some superfeet blue, to immediately improve the fit and stability for my feet.Initially the new shoes seem very stiff and the leather unforgiving, however wearing old and new Mammuts on each foot made me realise that a breaking period is required to get the best out the new shoes.

Great comfortable shoes however I'm a size 11 and the size 11 where too small so I had to get the next size up!Heels are solid plastic and grip your foot nicely ive worn these on some rough hikes that I would normally wear something with more of a boot tread than the trainer type these have!All in all great shoes

Speedy delivery. Product a little uncomfortable at first, as expected, but it last for a few days and now they're fine. I've not used them much as I've only had them a week but I'm expecting them to perform as the high quality shoe they appear to be

Perfect!!! Bought for hiking and walking in the wet weather and it does both superbly. Fits very well and comfortable from the first wear- no complaints so far and been used weekly so far. Yes it is expensive- but for the quality, no complaints!

The Mammut Men's Alnasca GTX Lose Rise Hiking Shoes, fit perfectly and look great. I'll be testing them out over the next few weeks.
