Grass cutting season has started again... which means allergy season for 2 of my Maltese. Not even 6 hours after the grass being cut they had both started to scratch and chew their paws.I have tried many many creams and spray over the years, including various (expensive) treatments from the vet and even the use of steroids for one of them as she had got so bad she was going bald with all her itching! My male had managed to scratch a horrible sore onto his stomach area, I had tried treating it with another well- known dog anti itch brand for several days with no luck what so ever and figured it was going to have to be another vet trip before the cut turned into a full-blown wound and would get infected.I had seen this spray advertised several times but to be honest, I just assumed it would be the same as all the others I already have sitting in the cupboard which didn't work for us. However, when telling a friend I was going to have to take him back to the vet she recommended trying Leucillin Antiseptic Skin Care Spray and told me her vet uses it and that she had had great results too so decided it was worth a go.Item arrived really quickly and spraying it onto the cut didn't seem to bother him at all. Within a day the sore had already started to look better. Even better my dog was no longer scratching at the area or trying to constantly lick it. Have used the spray for 3 days (twice a day although it does recommend 3 times) and today the area has completely healed and no longer red or sore. My other Maltese hasn't been as bad (so far) this year however she has been chewing at her paws a bit. I have given her feet a quick spray once a day and that alone seems to be enough to stop her biting and causing more harm.Am truly amazed by how well it has worked, although have to say I'm a little annoyed I didn't purchase it sooner as I would have saved the dogs many summers of itching misery and myself many large vet bills!

Absolutely fantastic stuff. I picked this up at my local raw food supplier as they stock it, which is the first I had heard of this stuff. As my senior Pug has always syffered chronic ear infections, I thought it would be handy to have around. When his ears get a little squishy sounding, I squirt this into both ears for good measure and it prevents the ears from flaring up and keeps infection at bay. What I'm really impressed with is that I have two pugs, now having pugs you have the risk of their eyes being damaged. My senior has been to the vets a few times in his life with eye discharge, clouding and indentation.. An ulcer. He gets his eye checked, prescribed antibiotics and drops and I'm given an almost £100 bill.My young girl woke up one morning with a squinting, swollen, red eye. Mucus like discharge with blood streaked goop. In a panic, and low on funds I was internally screaming and as I went to call the vets, I remembered i had this stuff in my cupboard. I soaked a cotton pad with leucillin and wiped away any discharge and sprayed/dropped leucillin into and around her eye. Later that afternoon she was opening her eye and acting normal, it got cloudy, but the discharge was lessening and any swelling or redness was gone. I continued to apply leucillin every two hours throughout the day, each application the eye looked better and better. In two days the eye is back to normal. No clouding, no discharge, just a beautiful little eye!It has saved me So much money. I would recommend trying this first. If the problem worsens or is severe I would absolutely recommend a vet, but ultimately all a vet will give you is drops to prevent infection. Leucillin prevented any bacteria from getting into her eye and im astonished how well it has worked and I think it's a necessity for all dog owners. First two pics are before, last is after. She has a little fluff on her eye from a nap, but it's all healed now.

If your pet gets itchy paws, sore ears, dedomex mites / dermatitis or fungal / yeast infections then this is a must. Our Shar-Pei suffers from occasional bouts of itchy skin / dedomex and Malassezia, usually when she is around her season. If you use the spray sensibly, then it will last for many months and avoid regular hefty vet bills and more drugs ( Vets just seem to be pharmacists nowadays, drugs drugs drugs ). Make sure that you part the fur in the affected area so that you get to the skin, get the nozzle as close as possible, and once sprayed, rub it in to the skin with your fingers ( Make sure you wash your hands once finished ). It is a thin liquid so easy to spread. If you just spray it onto the fur,you are wasting your time and money. If using it on paws, I recommend that you spray it / rub it in even in the spaces between the pads and claws, and do it right before you take the dog for a walk ( it dries very quickly ) as this will occupy the dogs attention and they will forget about trying to lick it off.If using on a dogs face, I recommend cleaning any excessive muck / tear stains off first with a babywipe, then spraying the Leucillin on a soft cotton pad and wiping the face.If using in ears, just spray it in and leave it, but with ears this may well stop the infection / mites but it won't cure the problem of stinky wax etc. This would require regular ear flushing as part of normal grooming.I recommend trying this product for yourself, and if used twice a day for a week you will see a huge improvement in skin issues, but like everything consistency is the key.

My wonderful, faithful dog had had a sore eyelid on and off for some time. He’d be about 11 years old when it first started. It was his right eye, the outer corner, just a tiny bit but it must’ve alternated between itchiness and soreness. He would rub his eye with his paw when it flared up, poor lad, so I’d get cooled, boiled water and bathe it straightaway. I always used hospital grade cotton wool, not sure if you can still get it, never using the same swab twice. We had umpteen visits to the Vet for eye medications, including Fuciderm, and they’d all temporarily help but never completely cure it. It never got worse to the point of no return but it never got better either.I found Leucillin here on Amazon and decided to try as it said could be safely used around the delicate eye area.I cannot emphasise the immediate relief it brought my lovely lad, it was profound. He looked at me as if to say, Mum, this works! Within a week of gently applying morning and evening the sore area was completely healed. His fur and tiny lashes grew back again, too. It never, ever returned, not even in his twilight years. This is just one example of this outstanding product, have also used it for scratches and small wounds with complete success. Have even successfully applied to myself when I ran out of Savlon cream! Recommend unreservedly, 100%.

I read a lot of reviews before I plumbed for this and having done so, I've used it twice since I bought it. Once when I removed a tick from my young dogs face about an inch from her eye, and I wanted to promote healing and minimise the risk of infection. (Some did go in her eye and she was not even slightly upset). And secondly, as a result of this experience, I used some on my old dog's eyes that had shown a slight discharge for a couple of weeks. (it wasn't bothering her) I used couple of gentle sprays from a distance, then wiped gently with a tissue. She was not upset either. I did this twice over a couple of days and her eyes cleared completely. (she does not like the vets and does not like creams in her eyes,so I just thought I would try it before I took her to the vet - She's over 15 yrs old and it was a better option for her if it worked, which it did). It's in a handy size bottle, with a smooth functioning pump action and a simple locking mechanism. Some reviews say the bottle leaks, but that has not been my experience. Now it sits in my car in the door pocket (upright!) next to my dog/human first aid kit. As it can be used on humans too, I see it as just another useful resource that I don't want to have to use, but I now have confidence in the product, so I'm happy to recommend it.

My Boy has terrible malassezia issues in his ears and feet (standard Tibetan Terrier issues) and would spend all day licking his feet, I've been using malaseb shampoo which is a ball ache to use as Archie hates the shower and having to shower him multiple times a week is a nightmare,I'm a veterinary Nurse and thankfully a colleague of mine recommended Leucillin as she had met the team at VetFest, I contacted leucilling directly through my practice and asked if it might help with malassezia problems and they wrote a very informative email back,In short it's fantastic, so easy to use I sprayed Archie's feet 3 times a day for about a week and now I spray maybe once every three days and the yeastcleared up perfectly and I can genuinely say Archie never licks his paws now!the fact you can spray on and leave is the best part I find, I genuinely couldn't say if the formula is that effective (seems to me like a clever dose of salt and chlorine is literally all it is) compared to a vet prescribed product like Malaseb, but the ease of use means I can do.it more often and that has made it more effective and I will certainly continue to use and buy it! High recommend

I tracked this down after reading an article about how hypochlorous acid (HOCl) was an effective disinfectant several orders of magnitude more powerful than hypochlorite (as in bleach). Bought it on basis of so many positive reviews cross-referenced with several scholarly articles. It is a chemical that our own cells produce in the immune reaction, although obviously in tiny volumes, and was used in WW1 on wards. Problem has been producing it in a stable form, it used to have to be generated on-site, but recent advances have come up with solutions with shelf-lives of a year or so.In anti SARS-CoV-2 sense we use it for misting items we’ve brought back from the shops, for disinfecting surfaces, spraying down our outside gear etc. But we’ve also found it seems to have given our cockatiel some relief from self-plucking of his shoulder feathers. Just like all the dog and cat-owners have said he doesn’t flinch or seem to experience any discomfort whatsoever and just seems to be calmer and more comfortable. We sprayed it on ourselves first to test, no sting, just a slight tang of swimming pool. Great product.

Leucillin really works on animals AND on humans! I noticed two days ago my horse had a runny eyes due to the flies and she is prone to get conjunctivitis (last year the cream the vet gave me for this was very expensive). So I sprayed this a few times in her eyes and by the next day the running had stopped and the eye was clear again. It really doesn't sting your eyes (my mare didn't mind it one bit) - I have used it in my own eyes as it is safe for humans too. My partner got an insect bite today which really stung but as soon as he sprayed this on it the itchiness disappeared and it has almost cleared up now (a few hours later). My friend's horse had a horse fly bite yesterday and I brought out this trusty purple spray - the area is fine now and there is no swelling. I also use it also on my gelding's feathers to ward off feather mites and summer itching. It has really helped and there is very little foot stomping now. So I highly recommend this very versatile and effective spray that will benefit you in so many ways :)

After 2 visits to the vet - and a bill of over £800 - to treat a burst abscess on my cat’s arse, I was told on the 3rd that there was nothing more they could do - two sedations had failed to help solve the problem and she ended up with ulcers on her eyes from the anaesthetic to boot. Two courses of antibiotics didn’t help at all. I’d post some before and after pics but nobody wants to see that. Pretty horrific 4 inch open wound. Bought this in desperation and, within 3 days, the wound was clearing up beautifully. With the aid of a lampshade collar, and 3 good doses of this a day, plus some gentle cleaning with cotton wool pads I realise I could have cared for her perfectly well myself for about £20.This stuff is easy to apply and doesn’t distress her at all. Looks to be doing exactly what it promises - kill bacteria and promote healing without pain. Will keep an emergency supply. For a tenner, it’s worth having on standby for any pet owner. Some comments about short shelf-life but mine came with 14 months until expiry.

My dog has had sore paws. She has chewed them and left them red raw which must be incredibly painful. I've been told by vets and others 'bath it in salt water' - I mean, what? Ever had a blister and gone swimming in the sea - it stings like crazy!!!!! I just couldn't face doing that to her. So I went off to find something else that would keep her wound clean and infection free and I came across this.My dog didn't go on to have an infection, so I guess it worked from that perspective, but the best thing was that even on a red raw, open, exposed wound - my dog made no reaction when I put this on. No different to me using just plain water. I used it to clean her poorly paw between changing her bandage. It has no smell, and like I said, she didn't get an infection, her wound healed really well and I didn't have to put her through the pain of sticking an exposed wound in salt water. With that in mind - this is something I will always have in the cupboard!

My dog has had ear problems his whole life. Having spent £370 on vet antibiotics and steriods for a very bad ear infection begining of March. I started looking into alternatives to the normal Neem oil that i was using for many years to clean and treat his ears. The infection flared up mid april. I bought Leucillin from petsworld. Used it for a week and noticed it started to clean and clear up infection after 7 days. The infection was real bad. Used it twice a day. And now use it once at night. Infection has cleared up 80%.My dog is 13 years old and he moans about everything. When i applie it his not happy. But he plays more. Barks more. And gives me attitude more so he must be feeling better. He has issues with wax ears from puppy. And i am impressed with this spray. He comes to me for ear clean rather than me chasing him. If it hurt on application he wouldnt be so forthcoming.Give it a go. If your dog has similar issues.

My chocolate labrador is prone to outbreaks of contact dermatitis on her tummy which can leave her red raw and very sore looking. I have been to the vet who prescribed histamines and a topical steroid cream. However the tablets made her sick and the steroid cream is only recommended for short term use and as soon as we stopped the redness came back. We tried various other things but nothing seemed to help. It got to the stage where she has almost completely lost the hair on her belly from gnawing and licking the area.I came across Leucillin whilst doing my research online and decided it couldn't hurt to try it, and I am so glad I did. Within 2-3 days the redness was already starting to diminish and she had stopped scratching and gnawing at herself.Amazing stuff. I will now always have a bottle of this at home for future outbreaks. I cannot recommend highly enough. Definitely one for the doggy first aid kit.

My Black Lab has recently been licking / sucking her feet day and night resulting in the carpet getting soaking wet. I have checked her feet and could not find anything that would cause the irritation and in addition her feet did not looked inflamed. I decided to give this Leucillin Antiseptic Skin Care Spray a go after reading a number of reviews and I can honestly say that its well worth the money. It has instantly - and I mean instantly, stopped the foot sucking / licking. I spray it onto my labs feet after each walk and make sure that I really rub it well into her pads and between her toes. Application is very easy as it comes in a spray form and only takes a few minutes to do.It does have a slight chlorine smell - but this has not bothered the dog at all. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product and will be buying more of it in the future.

We’ve never had issues with fleas before using a flea collie on top on the regular prevention treatment. It was clear after a week however, due to the weather where we live in the UK, my cat kept going somewhere when it was raining that was clearly infested with fleas. All of a sudden, she’s lost loads of fur on her back about her tail so I kept her in for a week until the weather was over, but gave her this and there was a clear improvement within a day of redness and soreness from bites being reduced. I swear even a little fire free over night. Anyway a week later it cleared entirely and so did the weather thank goodness. Not had the issue since. Also her fur fur grew back much softer as before it was a little straw-like,but since then I have been treating her with a kidney and liver detox as she’s 10 years old, but I know this for sure helps!

My GSD has had a very bad fungal infection for this past year. 3 different vets and x amount of different treatments, cream and lotions did nothing except for making me poorer and then I tried Leucillin. I bought a little bottle first, considering all the other so called treatments that didn't do anything and that same evening I ordered a big bottle, because this actually works. His skin on his belly and throat region was black by the fungal infection and for the first time it started to come off. I have used it for about 2 weeks now, twice daily, his skin is turning a nice pink, the 'fungal smell' has completely gone, his coat is starting to 'shine' again,I spray it on my hand (he is not keen on having it sprayed onto his skin) and then I use wet wipes (unscented) to wipe it off. I would highly recommend giving this a try first, I wish I had.
