There are loads of different treatments available for Cat and Dog Treatments for Fleas, Ticks, Worms etc etc. I've used some of the cheaper treatments, for example, Bob Martin, but whilst FRONTLINE isn't the cheapest, both my other half, myself AND my Sister in Law think it's the most effective treatment. Why do I mention my Sister in Law? Well, she worked in a homeless shelter for Cats and Dogs for well over 10 years and saw all sorts of poorly treated animals, some through abandonment, some had poorly or frail owners and some poor Moggies and Doggies were just littered and left to go wild. In that respect my Sister in Law had to care for A LOT of animals. In a sheltered animal home if these things aren't nipped in the bud quickly they spread like wildfire so it's important to get the right treatment first time, every time. And FRONTLINE does exactly that in our opinion, where others don't. Yes, you might pay a BIT extra, but if it's for your pet why wouldn't you? The Amazon subscribe and save saved me a few quid here and there, but it also saved me time and petrol as I don't have to keep nipping to the Retail Park to pick some FRONTLINE up when we run out. The convenience of Amazon Delivery coupled with the other factors works well for us.And our wee Buster seems quite content too! 5* all round.

TL,DR: War of attrition against Flea Invasion, defeated with plague bio_tactics!!My cat started really scratching, found nothing, week later he scratched so much he drew blood..As I clean him, I find a couple tiny peppery things, then dandruff stuff(this is flea pool, & eggs!!!)Search a bit more thorough, yep...lots of the little pests....heart sinks??I remember Amazon???Searched, 10seconds, purchased 10seconds more, Delivery(possibly 8-10working days??)6 Hours later....standing with package, watching dude drive away!!! 15min later, catch kitty, spot of stuff back of neck...(kitty Not Happy at liquid touching that One bit of his skin he just cannot lick at)Next morning...normal kitty..,watch kitty awhile...no itching, no scratching..no weird behaviour....Check kitty's fur... Still peppery bits(expected, need to bath him now anyway), still a few dandruff things(the spot on kills those too, & also to be expected)...find maybe one or two lifeless flea corpses, but nothing moving...Wait a couple more days to be certain...still no movement(today's now bath day) but importantly, We_Win!!!!!!

The product is set of three pipettes of Frontline Spot On Tick and Flea treatment. The product effective kills ticks, fleas and lice. Each pipette gives a single treatment which lasts 1 month. The individual pipettes are opened by snapping the top off. The liquid is then squeezed out onto the nape of the cat's neck.I have four cats who love to prowl around outside. I apply one pipette of Frontline Spot On to each cat every 3 months. The product is very easy to use and my cats don't seem to mind the liquid being applied.By using the Subscribe and Save option, I get a 15% discount on the product. The discounted price gives me good value for money. Also, the regular delivery of the product serves as a great reminder that the treatment needs to be re-applied.I have been using Frontline Spot On for about five years and my cats and home are still free of ticks, lice and fleas. Either the product really works or there are no ticks, fleas or lice in my neighbourhood!

Firstly as a flea repellent they work brilliantly I treat my cats on the first of every month (slightly over the 28days I know but works fine).Secondly the price is so much more reasonable on here than at my vets who sell the exact same box (until about a year ago) for about 3x the price. The tick treatment doesn't work or not very well as between 1-2 weeks after treating as I do normally cat had 1x tick, had it removed. within a day or 2 cat went missing for 3days and was laying lifeless at my door and had found to have 3x ticks.Well aware ticks this year (2019) have been a big probemP.S. cat is back to normal self and flea and tick free for 3 monthsSo I have rated this product 4⭐ as it doeswork and you yourself can use my above experience to determine If the tick part of this product is relevant.Have been honest and unbiased as possible and I will as I have been buy again.

We've been religiously using Frontline once a month for the last few years with great results. Unfortunately, it now appears to no longer be effective as fleas have been spotted on my cats. Our vet has also advised that there are other reports that Frontline is no longer working. I normally take his advice with a pinch of salt as he would rather sell us his recommended prescription-only brand, but it's been clear in our case that Frontline is no longer up to the job for us.If it still works for you, I'd certainly recommend it. Each pack contains 6 pipettes and a set of little stickers that you can pop in your calendar to remind yourself to treat the cats. Despite being painless to apply,my cats still freak out so I find warming it between my hands and stealthily applying it is the easiest way to get it done.

Amazing, i bought this along side Indorex house spray... haven't seen a creepy flea since. We weren't infested, but just couldn't get rid of them, we think our kitten caught them from our family members cats when we went to visit & took her with us.. ever since it's been a nightmare, flea combed every night to find around 20-30 flea's EVERY NIGHT, tried tablets (johnsons, kind of worked but doesn't protect them afterwards..tried bombs, Bob martin spot ons.. but we knew we had to get this stuff to get rid of them even if it was expensive.. when when i checked amazon to see if they sold them, was soo shocked to see them priced soo low. Much cheaper than local stores. Flea's are now gone, after months of worry, bites, itching, ugly disgusting fleas.. THANK YOU AMAZON, INDOREX & FRONTLINE!

I'm quite surprised to see all the negative reviews about this product. Personally speaking, if you are thinking about buying this product and are being put off by the disgruntled reviews, don't be. It does work and is very effective. The most important thing to remember is application. I personally use an electric razor to shave the back of my cat's neck (approx 30ml×15ml square) and apply it directly to the skin, being extremely careful not to waste any by allowing it to soak into the fur. Anything less than a full dose will be ineffective. And be patient, the ticks won't fall off straight away, it can take a couple of days. Also, it won't prevent new ticks arriving, but it will, once it has got into their bloodstream kill them. Diligent application is vital, and patience important.

We have been using Frontline for years now but previously have been purchasing via the vet when I have now noticed these sold on line by Black Cat Medicines through Amazon at more than half the price the vet has been charging so we will definitely be purchasing these on line in the future. Never had a problem with Frontline not working as some other reviewers have advised but I think that may be due to the fact that we don't strictly de-flea our cats every three months but rather every four or five which works the best in our home as the cats don't get fleas and the fleas don't get used to the product but that is not to say that this would work for others just what we tend to do.Can only recommend this product as still works fine for our cats.

I've used Frontline before and was very impressed with the results. I was on the verge of a flea infestation and the cat was dropping eggs and flea dirt everywhere. She also became very inactive and showing signs of anaemia due to the amount of blood the little parasites where taking form her. literally within one week of applying this product the amount of eggs and debris had declined by half and after two weeks there were virtually none. The cat was also happier, no more scratching and also more active. I would recommend this product to everyone with cats or dogs. I recently noticed the start of this again and bought this product immediately with the same impressive results. It costs a bit more than other products but it is worth every penny.

I highly recommend this product, it's simple to use and easy to apply on your pets. Our two cats know that it only takes less than a couple of minutes to put it in their skin and they are done! No struggling or fighting needed. Just pick up your cat and part the hair on the back of the neck (do not put it on the top of the head your cat will wash it off) with a flea comb making a nice parting a couple of centimetres long and apply to the exposed skin, not leaving any sat on top of the fur. It is absorbed easily and after a couple of days you wouldn't even know they had the drops applied at all. Regular use has ensured our pets never have fleas ticks or lice. Happy cats and happy owners all around after using this product, big thumbs up!

Spot on pipettes are easy to apply - cuddle the cat, then when she's at her least suspecting, trickle the pipette into the scruff of her neck and scruff it around. She probably won't even notice. How do i know it's effective?Well with fleas, she's constantly on the move, fussing about this, jumping for no reason, licking in non-normal places (like shoulder) and scratching her ears. After pipette she spends about 12 hrs in exquisite agony, hiding and leaping (she isn't actually in pain, but the fleas do the dance of death as they remove their mouthparts and curl up and die, and for the cat this is very ticklish)and then she gets a month or three of being her usual self - fun to be around but basically calm.

Works well. My cats are all outdoor cats and haven’t had fleas or ticks in the three years I’ve been using this product. I presume those who have said it is burning their cats is because they’ve stuck the whole pipette in one area. A good vet should tell you that is best dotted down the top of their spine (where they can’t lick - back of neck, between top of shoulder blades etc) and not just overload one spot. It also rubs if cats wear collars so these need to be removed until it dries. If your cat already has fleas when you are due to apply it, vets will also tell you that you need to decontaminate your house first with something like RIP FLEA.Just treating the cat will not be effective on its own.

We have been using these pipettes for a year now, and have had no fleas in the house. It does what it says on the cardboard box, if you like. Thus it has to be 5 stars!Spot on is the best method for our cats, they don't like tablets, and they certainly don't like injections. They're not mad keen on this either, but it is the line of least resistance, and if they had the intellect to think about the alternative - scratching all day - they'd thank me rather more than they have done. Our cats seem to get fleas more or less as soon as the protection runs out. This product protects for "up to 6 weeks" but we dish this out on the first of each month and we have remained clear for an extended spellnow.

Rosie has been flead this morning by Frontline, I'd never used it before but my mum reccomended it to me. I've tried a couple of other brands and ones that are tablet form but they never totally got rid of the fleas. This time I could tell she had an infestation just from her crazy behaviour for the last couple of days, and she started to bite the fur from the base of her tail. So at this time of the night she would be grooming, scratching and biting herself but instead she has chilled out with me on the sofa purring and kneading, just being very content. So i think it's safe to say that in this case the product has worked for us and will repeat every 4 weeks for a while ??

Took my kitty to a charity vet and got her flea treated whilst she was being spayed. She came home still scratching and even a week after her operation she still had fleas and I was able to catch atleast 2 every time I checked her (I got charged for flea treatment grr!). Ordered this frontline product and just to be safe I waited 3 and a half weeks. It started working within an hour of applying! She fell asleep on a blanket and I saw so many dead fleas had dropped off her body. After about two days I ran a comb through her fur and found no fleas and no flea dirt! Im going to continue with the next dose after a month. I'm very happy with the product and would recommend!
