I was looking for a mop for my kitchen and bathroom floor surfaces, and i did not want the old style mop and bucket system as i don't think they clean floors when you are putting the mop back into the bucket of dirty water all the time, plus i have limited storage space, so i wanted something that would not only clean my floors but can be stored away using hardly any space. I have a wet room with a non slip floor which is slightly bumpy, so i was a bit dubious about whether this mop would be suitable, as i had visions of the floor ripping the mop head, especially as it is advertised as being suitable for laminate and tiled floors. Having read a lot of the great reviews on this mop i decided to take a chance,i ordered the mop and a spare mop head. I have to say i love this mop (sad i know) my reasons are the handle is not adjustable so there is no messing around with that at all, it is long enough for a tall person, and there is no way it can collapse when pressure is put on it whilst cleaning. The fluid container is easily filled using a jug, or even by putting under a tap, and you can use whatever product you prefer to clean your floor, so you are not tied to a specific cleaning product. It cleans both the bumpy bathroom and kitchen floor quickly and easily, and any liquid can be left in the container for the next use if you wish. After use i remove the flat mop head and rinse under a tap this usually is enough to remove any dirt, but if you find it is very dirty it can be rinsed then put into the washing machine. On first use the spray lever took a while to kick in and start spraying the liquid, but works first time every time now. I would recommend this to anyone, if it can handle my bumpy floor without damaging the mop then i don't see any indoor floor it couldn't handle. I love it

I saw this around a friend's house and liked the idea of being able to spot clean quickly- my daughter was about to start weaning and I remembered the mess from my previous two. I didn't expect to love its cleaning ability so much that I'd end up putting my mop and bucket in the garage and swapping to this full time.I've tried diluted milton's in it and also Cif floor cleaner. The floor cleaner can foam a little when lots of sprays are done one after the other, however, it's much cheaper than using the specialist Vileda floor cleaner. The tank is around 250ml and that can be a challenge to dilute down products enough, but now I make up a 500ml jug, use half to clean my floor properly (kitchen/diner,hallway and downstairs loo) and then top it back up again so I have a tank full ready for the spot cleans.Would recommend getting a couple of spare heads as you'd be amazed at how quickly they get dirty. Plus side is they wash at up to 60, so I throw them in with my towels or my daughter's nappies and they come up lovely. It's finally stopped me having to have the argument with my toddler, who always wanted to wash the floor with the mop and bucket, now he has a few squirts and a little push around and he's happy (and my floor gets cleaned in the meantime). You will need to be prepared to put in a bit of serious arm action for dried on food stains on the floor (the type that usually the water would do the hard work with when using a mop and bucket) but find now it's so easy to mop daily that there's aren't many hard to removed patches. It dries really quickly too as you need so little cleaner alongside the microfibre head.Would definitely recommend it to anyone who asks!

I have recently purchased Vileda 1-2 Spray Mop. With only one tiled floor in the house we didn't need anything too fancy or bulky. The mop came with the microfiber pad attached separately to it. It took me few minutes to figure how to securely attach it to the mop, but once I figured out it just needs the poppers click on place and I won't break them easily, it became straight forward to use. I used it with a regular diluted cleaning floor detergent, not the Vileda brand one - it did the job just fine. Initially I thought the reservoir is just the transparent top bit so I prepared just a bit of the detergent, wondering how long it will last and thinking I'll have to top it up repeatedly. Not so - it turned out the whole stick is hollow and it took a fair amount of detergent, enough to clean much more than I had to clean! The cleaning itself was up to a very good standard and my tiled floor was soon spotless. I've tested the mop with both dry and wet pad with brilliant results each time. I now prefer to use dry pad and spray my way on the floor. The distance the mop sprays can be adjusted by tilting the handle slightly and it can spray quite far away. The mop itself is quite good at maneuvering and I clean all corners easily. The only downside is the pad has to be washed manually, or it can be washed in the washing machine. The mop doesn't take much space to be stored. Additional pads can be purchased and rotated so they will dry and there always will be clean dry pads to use if one wants to. All in all I'm quite pleased with my purchase and I would recommend it.

This is the perfect mop for maintaining your hard floors as it is very easy to use. It doesn't deep clean the floors like steam mops and doesn't get rid of tough dried dirt but its perfect for regular usage to keep floors clean from dust and light dirt tracks left by footprints when walking in from the wet concrete outside.I love the fact that everything is integrated so when you have put your mixture of cleaning fluid inside all you do is spray and go! The trick is not to spray too much of the product out onto one area otherwise you will have a pretty damp floor and also might damage your laminate. If the whole house is in laminate or other hard floor then its best to do one floor at a time because the pad gets dirty quite easy. Also, its best to have vacuumed the floor prior otherwise the pad will be clogged with dust right at the start and thus not really cleaning the floor properly.I don't use the solution that Vileda suggests. I just use another brand of floor cleaner and it works fine. After cleaning, pop the microfibre cloth into the washing machine and wash at 60 degree celcius to make sure all dirt and bacteria is rid of and it comes out nice and white again!

I know many people say that this mop is only really good for mopping up small patches after a spillage or a few dirty footprints etc but I have found it invaluable. Unlike many other spray mops, you cna fill it with whatever you want - I prefer mild, lukewarm soapy water for my laminate floors and occasionally something hotter and stronger for the bathroom and kitchen tiles. The mixture you make is poured into the handle. Although this doesn't seem a great deal it goes a very long way - I can usually do four bedrooms, the landing and the bathroom on just one filling. The pad is easily rmoved and washed out - either by hand or in the washing machine and of course it is ideal for those mini spills and muddy footprints too.I consider this to be one of my best buys - and the price was very good too, I bought this several months ago now and have found more shops stocking them recently - some cheaper now too - but the cheap ones do not have such a robust method of fitting the pad on, so I am still very glad that I bought tbhis one.

What a brilliant invention! Leaves my laminate floor streak free for the first time ever as you can control how much cleaning liquid you spray in front of the mop. Floor dries very quickly as it's not soaking which made a nice change from tiptoeing around trying not to leave footmarks! Nice height and very easy to maneuver as it swivels in between chair legs etc. I would suggest you make sure the trigger and spray outlet is aligned properly before fitting the handle into the mop part as it's quite a firm push-fit and may be difficult to get back out if you attach it wrongly.Used it with the Vileda cleaning liquid which has a lovely clean smell although it took almost half the bottle to fill the reservoir. You can use your own cleaning solution which pours into the top and fills up the reservoir in the handle.Cleaning my large kitchen floor was an absolute doddle with this and I recommend it wholeheartedly!

I deliberated for too long over which spray mop to buy as my previous one collapsed on me after about 4 months' use. Anyway, this one arrived, was very easy to put together (though I paid particular attention to getting it the right way round following previous posts) and works brilliantly. It took quite a while for the mop juice to come through as a good fine spray and I was worried it was faulty, but a bit of a bash and it works fine. My only grumble is that I now have to mix the floor liquid and water in advance as you can't see the quantity of juice in the handle (different to the old one, which had a bottle attachment which was easier to see). But all in all it's fab.And the liquid seems to last ages - I've done the hall and loo about 4 times (it's quite a large space) and there's still plenty of juice swishing about in there!

We were looking for something to clean our laminate floor at least once daily with mucky dog, baby and husband ;)We had considered the steam mops (after normal sponge mop left floor to wet, well too wet to dry quick enough) but the steam mops are not suitable for unsealed laminate flooring. The (recommended by a friend) flash mop is a rip off with the extra on-going cost of cloths and refills....so we bought the ViledaI cannot fault this mop, its holds a good amount of your own solution (we mix pine disinfectant with distilled water (to prevent lime scale so will prolong it's life)) and the cloth is washable by hand or machine. The spray is good, has a wide range so no pathetic dribble of cleaner on floor.Cleans the floor well and doesn't leave it too wet so dries quickly.Overall very happy with this and highly recommend it :)

Ive had this mop nearly a month now and I use it most days. I am very pleased with the results I get from mopping a large vinyl covered floor. It only comes with one pad, this can be machine washed, but usually after use I soak the pad in a bleach and water solution for a couple of hours(sometimes overnight) then rinse it out and its ready for the next time. One of the reviews I read says they feel this mop doesn't do as good a clean as a mop and bucket as they "can't rinse the mop out", but actually, it is easy to take the pad off, rinse under the tap and put back on. In my opinion, a mop and bucket is not that hygenic anyway as you are rinsing the mop out in the rinser, then dipping the mop back into dirty water. I would choose the 1,2 spray mop anytime!!

I had previously purchased a generic spray mop to help polish a glossy black floor. The mop worked ok, but broke within two weeks of usage - I was not impressed. Instead of wasting money on another cheap item, I opted for the Vileda mop - knowing the Vileda brand, I hoped that the mop would be a better quality than the cheaper brand. I was not disappointed. The mop is robust and well made, and more compact than the cheaper mop with the reservoir being housed in the mop handle. The spray function is solid, and the cleaning pads feel substantial. Cleaning also provides for better results than the cheaper mop.It is difficult to rave about a mop, but this really is a quality piece of kit,and I would definitely recommend it!

Love this mop, just make sure your baby or cat or dog is not nearby as it will squirt in their eyes - our cat is very attracted to the mop head so I have to be vigilant. I use a diluted Astonish wooden floor cleaner made up in a jug then poured carefully into the reservoir, which is the handle of the mop. Make sure the lid of the handle is snapped completely shut - the seal is good but the fluid does glug glug out if it falls over when the lid isn't fully closed. It does a super job of bringing up our wood flooring to a delicate shine and generally cleans up superficial marks and collects dust and cat hairs. I wash the mop head every second use,and have a spare to pop on while the other is going through the wash.

Really sturdy spray mop. I had purchased another brand previously on Amazon which broke after few uses so was hestitant buying this one. So far it's still in one piece and feels much more sturdy and water is not leaking. I have purchased another for my mom and she loves it too. Its great for spot cleaning and doesn't leave floor saturated. I have a one year old so I spend my existance cleaning food off the floor after each meal. I also purchased the replacement pads. Now I just toss the dirty pad in the wash and replace with new pad. Would highly recommend if you like to spot clean daily without having to fill a bucket and rince a mop.

I bought on a whim but I'm glad i did. i bought the liquid too and it smells lovely. filled the handle and away i went. mopped all the floors and then put the removeable cloth in a 60 degree wash voila. Took half the time of regular mopping. no struggling with the bucket. and the floors dried within 5 minutes too. on the initial application the spray trigger wouldn't work put i gave it one hard pull on the trigger and then voila. i thought it was broken so relieved. the foot was a bit of a problem to attach to the handle and it took some real pressure to snap it into place. But now its all together and working i am dead impressed!

A good replacement for the flash mop I had before and a lot cheaper. The head swivels a lot easier and when you've done you just put it in the washing machine ready for next time, cheaper than having to buy new pads. The head is difficult to fit to the pole but you just have to use brute force. The vileda cleaning spray which I bought from Asda wasn't cheap but I have only used half of it so far after doing kitchen and bathroom floors 3 times over so it's quite economical. All in all I am pleased with this product and hopefully will last as long as the flash mop I had before but only time will tell

How I wish I had purchased one of these earlier; absolutely fantastic, easy to use, does the job extremely well in minutes, leaves floors clean and shining.Going to purchase another. I have five dogs and one cat here and am very fussy about hygiene, always had my mop and bucket at the ready. Now life is much less stressful, it is a pleasure to get my Flat Spray Mop out and whizz around the floor in seconds...job done, floor clean;fresh and sweet smelling always. All ready purchased another of these and CHEAPER than price paid for first one.THRILLED TO BITS. EVERY HOUSE NEEDS ONE.
