Given an age range of 6-12 years old we all know that this is good for any Star Wars fan, however old you happen to be. Ideal for children, but good for adults to own as well this is relatively easy to put together for younger persons and has moveable wings to give it the distinctive X shape for in space manoeuvrability, and flick missiles, one to each wing.I love the little droid head sticking out the back of this and the pilot and his little cockpit, with a little screen to shield him. Obviously as a micro fighter ship it hasn’t got all the detail of something bigger, however it is cheaper and looks the part, and is fun to play with.

If you're going to get just one microfighter then for me, this is the one to buy (closely followed by the Millenium Falcon). Lots of cool detail including the astromech droid, folding wings and little highlights on the exhausts. The minifigure is really nice too, nice printing and a mini blaster pistol.

This stubby X-wing microfighter is quite adorable, even if the droid is just the top shell. It's easy to assemble and just took me about 30 minutes, even though I'm a Lego novice.

Bought as a gift for a 7 year old - it was a hit. He found most of it easy to make, but the wings did cause a little confusion - It was all sorted though.

This is a great little Lego kit. It looks really cool and the moving wings are quite smart too.It is small but the name should give that away.

I bought a few in this series for my 6 year old daughter, who loves them.Includes minifigure. Definitely worth adding to your collection.

As far as I'm aware it ticked all the right boxes - it was bought for my grandson's 7th birthday and I've had no complaints yet.

Brilliant - You just can't go wrong with Lego or Star Wars - my 7 yr. old boy loves these MICROFIGHTERS sets.
