THIS IS A SMALL SCALE KIT, DOES NOT COME WITH GLUE and PAINTS !!!! Lets get that out of the way for those who may expect something else and then rate it 1 star for their own ignorance. I got this as a star wars fan, these kits came as a great price for a little piece of merchandise. This is a great little kit, with good detailing and the parts fit perfectly. Decals are supplied for every part of the model that is not the base colour, (red stripes, yellow stirpes, the grey canopy, even the blue markings of R2D2) so it's a real easy build. Came with fancy colour instructions and the sprue trees in the box were sealed in a plastic bag.All in all a fun build, good representation of the X-Wing fighter albeit small but well detailed.

This model is very detailed and quite easy to assemble although the wings are fiddly. Pilot is included which I always appreciate (but hate to paint!!).When completed it does look the part and, for around £5.00, it makes for a nice kit you can complete in a couple ofafternoons.No paints or glue provided but if you're even an intermediate modeller you should have the right paints. I only used black, blue, light grey, dark grey and a little white. I didn't bother with the transfers they felt rather pointless and were small so didn't fancy the hassle!My X-wing is painted in a Resistance-era colour scheme perhaps before they got their hands on the newer model!

Just felt I had to counter some of the negative reviews on this.On the image of the box, it clearly states that this model is 1/112 scale. It also even states the dimensions of the finished model in mm...If people want a finished model that will be bigger, they should go for a smaller scale rating such as 1/72 or 1/35 but you will not find those at this price range.These kits are great for the money, the enjoyment of building, painting and the satisfaction when what you have when finished can be enjoyed and displayed.I use mine for dioramas and have even customised models like the tie fighter with LEDs and battle damage.

Surprisingly detailed little model and very simple to build but be aware that paints and glue are required. It specifies quite a few paints but as they are all different shades of grey all you need is black & white. You will need orange for the pilot's suit but you could get away without it. The red and yellow parts are transfers, as are the blue bits on R2D2. Because it's so small some of the decals are very fiddly, so not really suitable for younger children.

This is definitely designed for a child or newer modeller, but the detail it comes with might compete with bandai. It's a great representation of the x wing and 100% relies on the skills of the modellers, but it is possible to create a beautiful model, that will fit on any Star Wars themed shelf. The construction is very clear and simple, so it is recommended for newer modellers.

The X-wing is the most fiddly out of the set of this size model. I wish it was a tad bit bigger and that it has a stand like some of the others in this set. I was still loads of fun putting it together. I used a uni-ball Posca paint Marker to dirty up the x-wing to make it look used. Also it has decal that are big enough to see and stick on.

Easy snp kit for kids and adults alike. Looks good.I bought it as a tester for my model painting testing, but now its done I love it. Now building a diorama with this and some tie fighters.Great little product. easy to weather and repaint.

EDIT: This review is for the EasyKit - not this item. Pre-painted parts and comes as a typical glued model kit. Easy to click together (no glue needed) & was a great introduction to model kit making for my 6 year old
