Our Lego Star wars collection is expanding up to a point were we start to worry about space. Both me and my young son are intrigued by the many playsets and exciting vehicles that are available in the range. One character he was missing in his daily brick battles was Kylo Ren. And his ominous command ship was very welcome as well.The built of this a fairly large 1005 piece set was quite exciting although there is a lot of black pieces. As you can image there are quite a few technic pieces as well that lend strength and solidity to the ship. We built it together over several sessions. No stickers are included. The wings are a little repetitive and so slightly complex,

I bought this set last month for a present for my sons 12th birthday which is today. The attention to detail is really good. We also like how it comes with a few figures as he loves creating play scenes with them and also collects them. As a product and a gift I would recommend buying this as it's worth it. There was only 1 thing with stopped it from getting 5* which is that I only recieved 4 figures, Kylo Rens weapon,1 other weapon and a helmet which meant 2 figures were missing, 4 weapons/guns missing and also a spring things (not sure what it's called). I understand that simple accidents do and can occasionally happen but trying to explain that to a child wasnt so straight forward as you can imagine haha.

This Star Wars Lego set is the latest version of Kylo Ren's shuttle and has been further refined from previous sets.The set comes with 9 bags of lego , very clear instructions with nearly 300 steps and includes the Shuttle and 6 mini figures (Kylo, 2 Knights of Ren, General Pryde, a Sith Trooper and First Order Trooper).I found the build to be great fun. The two big wings means a fair bit of repetition but it was very enjoyable. The finished set looks spectacular and is one of my favourite sets yet. It's definitely one for display.The set is also very interactive, with a cockpit in which you can place some figures and also wings that both fold out (flight mode)

Well it's black, as it should be, not like the previous grey version. As with most SW LEGO, you get great instructions, you need to pay attention on a few of the items when building, the wings for example, but otherwise a fine kit. Wing opening can be a little hit and miss sometimes, but then again, these kits are for looking at for a lot of people, as opposed to actually playing with. Great set of mini figures as well. Tried originally buying this from the LEGO site but it's been out of stock since end of December, next day with Amazon and a bit cheaper. Price is high for these kits, not amazons fault as LEGO have to pay the royalties somehow.

My 9 yr old son LOVES the Kylo Ren Shuttle Starship.Its a classic Lego Star Wars set to add to your collection.The starship is not small and he loves how the wings fold down. (I love the fact I dont need to build another shelf)My son has been watching Youtube to create his own Lego Still Frame short movie.I am gob-smacked how motivated he is. Understanding green screen, camera angles, lighting, sound, illusions that tricks the eyes into filling the gaps like a shooting lazer.Watch out George Lucas :-)Appreciate that these sets are not cheap but I do make the kids save up a portion of the cost.

Lego is such a great way to get kids involved in engineering concepts, and this set is substantial enough to keep everyone entertained for 3 hours+ during the build. Built with a 10 year old (and 3 year old helper), the instructions were easy to follow and the final model impressive. Back thrusters control wing pitch and there is a neat mechanism to extend wing length. Generous 6 minifigures, 3 of which comfortablly fit in the cockpit. This set is well thought through, and highly recommended.

If your kid like mine loves Lego or Star Wars then your sorted here! As always it’s great quality from Lego, with detailed pictures and a handy instruction manual to help you with the build. Takes a bit of time to build though! This set comes with 6 mini figures too. My son and I enjoyed building it together the only negative I have is the price - I do feel as always Lego can be rather overpriced for what it is so worth grabbing when on a deal sometime.

This is an epic LEGO set! It is huge and has so much detail to it. An absolute must for any Star Wars LEGO fan. All the pieces come packaged in separate bags which helps when looking for the bits you need. Comes with 6 figures. The instructions are also huge but easy to follow. This is no easy make and is going to need patients and will take us a while to complete so it’s for true LEGO enthusiasts but once done it will look amazing!

My son aged 10 really enjoyed this set as it really tested his "master builder" skills! He loved the fact it came with so many figures to do battle with. This certainly passed 2 and a half hours on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It also didn't matter that we weren't familiar with the Star Wars film this fab set is based on - but it has certainly encouraged him to watch it! This would make a Lego fan happy at Christmas or Birthday.

A family of star wars mad boys on this build. This is a great replica of Kylo Ren shuttle from the film. It took about 4 hours to build and was completed by 8, 11 and 47 year olds. The guidance is 10years plus but my 8year old had no problem. As always there is a step by step booklet and each bag is numbered for ease of use. There are moving parts and this build has provided hours of fun both to build and after completion.

As a huge star wars and Lego fan this is amazing hours of fun building it with my son ( not complete yet)Includes 6 minifigures Supreme Leader Kylo Ren, General Pryde, a Sith Trooper, a First Order Stormtrooperights of RenContains 1005 piecesLove that you can rotate the right engine for folding in the wings when landing. I would recommend this to any lego and star was fan hours of fun for children and adults.

This is a great product. I thought my son was leaving Lego behind (do we ever do that !!) but when he saw what the model was in the box his eyes light up. And he is not even a Star Wars fan, despite my many efforts !!After he built it, it was put in pride of place in his bedroom and now he has asked me to see how I can suspend it from his roof.Thank you Lego for a great product and lots of fun.

My son, aged 8, is star wars mad and loves lego. Although he is younger than the suggested age, he was more than capable of completing it himself. He did ask me for help, which I was so pleased about as I love that I can still do this with him before the teenage years kick in!The model was stunning, so much detail and he played with it for hours.I loved how you get so many figures in with it too!

This lego set gave Daddy and Daughter (age 10) several hours of bonding time with both of them being very proud of the end result (Daddy Especially!). Complicated, but not impossible, this set is expensive, but in terms of hours spent doing it, worth it. A really fantastic Lego set for the slightly older Lego fan, and parents! Love how the wings fold down as well and the cockpit opens up.
