Fantastic item, big piece of kit, we've had a few of these Star Wars kits and they are fab although the level one sets are the best as they have lights and sounds. I would like to say though a bit fiddly for the average 8 year old! Although this is clip together we have found that the feet pop off etc so with this set it might be worth glueing it together.

First off, this kit is very large, mainly due to the wings/sails.The only issue I have with the kit is that the wings/sails can only be mounted in the 'parked' position, however in the film they are always retracted by the time the Shuttle has landed. The kit does not allow for the wings to be retracted, and must be modified.

Son loved this, very easy to assemble - only suggestion would be for adult hands to remove the slightly smaller parts due to potential damage to the framework

Nice bit of kit. I recommend using some liquid glue for plastics, to hold it together. It needs glue, also the landing struts are crap.
