This model is quite old now and is not super crisp interms of detail. But still pretty good.The part's fit together perfectly.The moulds are clean no flash anywhere.I like that it includes 2 infantrymen and a thank commander. They ar a nice bonus.The decals are a little thick and I think oversized, but th colour pigments are superb , the white stays white even over dark Paint.The Only part I think is worth replacing is the gun barrel, it's a split down the middle type. You can buy aluminium and brass barrel's from Poland for a few pounds so it's an easy fix.Best thing was the price for a little over £12 this was an absolute bargin.

pretty high quality model for the price point. Really high detail for a sub $20. model with weld beads and lots of small parts for the total effect. However, unless your OCD kicks in, many of these small details will get lost on a younger kid who wants to push it around and have the turret blow off .....I was pretty impressed that, if one wanted to, you could really bling this thing up to get darn accurate and look great. I found the wheels hard to not get some glue into the poly part which binds the wheel. This is inexperience as well as the parts are pretty small to get such small dabs of glue into for the wheels to set. All in all, a very nice model for the price point.

I have to say this lit has been around and around for many years and keeps popping up everywhere. It is and will remain a favorite of mine although this kit is unbuilt as yet, I applaud the reviews from the other model builder as they give it a fair shake. It is not a complex model so for someone like me who builds more complex kits and modifies them into somewhat more complex and detailed models this kit offers a bit of relaxing the traditional. A simple kit for a quick build and airbrushed with high gloss OD it will look like it is off the showroom floor. A far cry from the rest of my models that are war torn and dirty. (ref to my gallery)

I was already familiar with the critiques about this being an oversimplified kit, but I have to admit I was a bit shocked by the small number of parts present (especially after having just completed a Zvezda kit with over 3 times as many parts). However, it does appear to be of typical Tamiya quality and assembly is very straightforward. Perhaps not as detailed as contemporary modelers are used to, and some inaccuracies, not the least of which are the inclusion of 2 infantry figures which are dressed in WW2 era uniforms. All in all, a fun and easy build and not a bad kit for a "vintage" price.

My son’s review -“I Received this as a Christmas gift and its great! This is my first ever Tamiya model so I can't say much about the overall quality of their models but this one was amazing! There was no flash at all, no major fitting issues (huge gaps under the hull and in-between lower hull and the top but you never see those) My only issue was the headlight cages, they were molded weird and weren't clear were you cut them off the sprue, so i accidentally cut mine in half but no biggie! The crew was great, the wheels and treads were easy, and love the moveable parts!”

Model is very detailed and precise, mold lines easy to remove and all holes were in the inside of the model. would rate 5 stars but box arrived with one corner crushed although all pieces of the model were intact, but some had bent off their sprue (with no damage to the pieces)fit of the model was good, almost no pieces had any space between themeasy to assemble level 2 kit, there are maybe 10 pieces which will require tweezers to place on the model, assembling the included US tank crew will require patience. Good for beginners.

It's a fun model to build, and most pieces fit well with minimal sanding and shaping (some is always required). However the small embellishments and details don't always fit where they are supposed to. It might instruct you to glue a tiny object to a specific spot, and then find there is not enough room for it to fit there.The instructions are clear and easy to read, but sometimes they don't represent the pieces to their appropriate scale or orientation, which can make it difficult for beginners.

For anybody who would love to start Model building on Military vehicles, I would recommend this. It gives exclusive detail into paint and should take you less than five days to build. I do not recommend using spray paints as it says because it gets messy and complicated. With the weathering kit this model looks even more beautiful. I'd say this is a great model for anyone who wants a cheap, easy, beginners model. I also recommend buying Tamiya's German Panzer 3. It is also a great starters kit.

I don't normally built plastic armor kits, but thought I would give this one a try. It was fairly easy to assemble, but does have some small parts which can be hard to separate from the sprue and cement to the model. It has decals for a couple of different tanks, and I didn't spend a lot of effort into painting this kit. Don't know if I will try another armor kit or stick with my aircraft kits, but if I do, I would certainly check out the Tamiya 1/35 offerings. Maybe a German kit next time.

This kit is very easy to put together for beginners. I didn't find it hard at all.Some of the holes in the plastic mold were too tight for parts to fit into it, just a small cut with an exacto knife and you're good to go.Glue used: Tamiya 87038 Extra Thin Cement Glue Fine Tip 40ml, used about, 2ml for this tank. Its a square bottle and the air pocket on the top isn't even all the way on the sq yet.Kit: Keadic 9Pcs Gundam Model Tools Kit Hobby Building Tools Craft Set

I'd never realized the Bulldog was such a small tank. In size, it appears to be on par with the early war German panzer 3s and 4s. Never the less, this was a fun quick build. The molding is pretty good and thus there is little taping or holding in place for the parts to cement together. Although you will need some putty to fill in a few areas. I suggest you watch Full Metal Jacket while building this kit as there are several bulldog tanks in the movie.Enjoy!

excellent model. Not a lot of challenges, simple, straight forward with quality plastic and tooling. everything fits, no gaps between the pieces, instructions are simple and clear. wished for some more details, though. 3 optional decals sets, painting instructions could be better. Ordered a couple of WW2 models from Tamiya based on the experience with this one. The kid is already drooling.... Next will probably be a model from Dragon.

Another great model from Tamiya! My Son and I ordered this kit, along with the German Sturmgeschutz IV or "Stug" for short. Plenty of details and parts to assemble. He's learning the steps of priming, trimming, prepping and assembly. Plenty of hours for both of us to enjoy together, which includes researching vintage footage to choose out paint scheme, and perhaps an action diorama. Great model novice and advance modelers!

Great model kit from Tamiya with detailed historical background and easy to follow instructions on the manual. Definitely not a toy as it requires assembly of small parts, gluing, and painting (requires adult supervision if thinking of buying for a child). Once assembled, it is only meant to be displayed. This model is a lot smaller than any other 1:35 scale models I've built.

The best way I can describe this tank is that it was just a lot of fun to build. It was also my first tank, and as such, surprised me with how basic and somewhat simple it was to put together. The figures looked good and so did the tank when they were completed. I would highly recommend any modeler of any level to get this kit.
