This is a superb A wing design - you get all the iconic features in a model that’s very playable and robust. The landing gear is simple but well done and a nice touch - it’s also fairly easy to build with logical stages. The pilot in the green uniform is unusual as well, which is a nice touch.It loses a star for me because of the accessories - it’s good they included the mechanic and his tool trolley but with it having no wheels this limits it a bit - while i get the idea it’s supposed to float, that doesn’t apply in most houses that I know of!Lando being included is also completely random - it’s great that you can get him in a smaller set but there is absolutely no link between Lando and an

This is a truly beautiful model. Take a look online at previous A-wing Lego kits, they're all angular and clunky as hell; this is smooth and clean, and easily the best version yet.It's easy to assemble, though some care is needed with sticker application getting them nicely lined up. Definitely put these on when the bricks are being assembled, not before, or any misaligned ones will stand out like a sore thumb.One problem - bearing in mind that this kit is still being sold by Lego's store for £45, why on earth would you pay the current asking price of sixty quid? It might be an option once the Lego store runs out, I suppose, in which case this is one of your options.
