I bought this item for my nephew's 6th Birthday. I was very pleased with the price as it seems quite reasonable. And lego is usually very over priced. And I was delighted when the item arrived at my door as the box was, I think, VERY big. I asked my boyfriendf how much he thought I had send on this item just by lookig at the size of the box and he xclaimed "£50at least." So wonderful value for money indeed. My nephew loved receving and I would highly recommend others to purchase.

My son thinks this is ace - so that's the main thing.I was disappointed that the grabber arm doesnt really grab ie it cant hold the lava monster on its own - you have to hold the grabber yourself to keep the monsters in the grabber. Also the base to it keeps falling apart - needs more cross struts to keep it together in my opinion.The cool drinks machine is very cool and so are the monsters but the jail itself could have been stronger I think.

All my sons, grandsons and friends have loved all the lego sets purchased over many years and this set was enjoyed by my son, husband and grandsons as per the previous lego sets bought. The Power Miners 8191 Lavatraz was a hit with all the family.

My son is a big fan of Power Miners. He already has almost all collection. "Lavatraz" is going to be find under the Christmas tree ;). Thanks Amazon team for so quick work.

My 7yr old son absolutely loved this lego set. I have to say that the best bit is the little drinks vending machine - it's so clever! Thumbs up to the Lego design team :-)
