I love this movie accurate scene! The “night monkey” or stealth spider-man mini-figure is one of my favourite mini-figures and how he earns his name is a comedic scene in the movie (no-spoilers). This is an exclusive mini-figure appearing for the first time in this set and the print on this figure front and back is amazing! I give it a 5/5. I really enjoy how the web attachment can stick to the Fire Elemental’s hand as Night Monkey swings, this is also a really cool poseable feature. Mysterio is a great looking mini-figure with good print on his front and the back. The head piece for the mini-figure is grey with Mysterio’s helmet/ astronaut-looking-globe preventing us from seeing his face. One suggestion I have which would’ve made this a 5/5 figure for me is if actually included Quentin Beck's actual face-print from the movie with his beard. Including Mysterio’s real face & making his globe opaque (foggy) preventing people from being able to see his face would’ve made this the perfect figure! Due to no face print, I give this figure a 4/5 as it still looks great. The fireman mini-figure isn’t from the film as far as I can recall, but it’s an appropriate figure to include since the Fire Elemental is burning everything in sight. The print on fireman as well as his hat and fire extinguisher are decent, so I give this a 3/5 rating. The Fire Elemental is known as the "Strongest Elemental" and it looks amazing and scary! With dripping pieces of lava, fiery chains, part of a car lodged in his mid-section, and lamp posts stuck into him only adds to this intimidating figure. The face on the Fire Elemental is decent & I really enjoyed the molten rocks and lava exterior pieces. The only thing I don’t love about this figure are the legs joints as this can make the Molten Man difficult to pose and often this figure will end up doing the “splits” as the leg joints aren’t super stiff. Leg joints such as those used in the Hulk Buster or War-Machine-Buster would have made this figure easier to pose. I love the fiery colour, scheme used on this figure and everything that’s been lodged into the Fire Elemental. I’ll still give this a 5/5 as it’s super well done, great work LEGO!

This is one of the only times in my life you'll see me say this:Wow, that's a good mech, LEGO.We can all agree that LEGO can get a little mech crazy, but in this case, not only is it justified, it is clearly passionate and thought through. The Molten Man is a great figure for display and likewise, play. He's vivid, threatening, and huge! This reminds me of that LEGO Batman Clayface set, but with marked improvement over the mobility. The "Night Monkey"/Stealth Suit Spidey is a neat figure and my word. Mysterio is PERFECT. I've been impressed with how good each LEGO Spider-man villain design has come out, but Mysterio is top tier. His helmet is shiny, his cape is glorious, and his outfit is very detailed. My one complain is the nameless fireman who probably could've been left out entirely, but someone is better than no one (unless it racks up the price...). Couldn't we have had someone like Agent Hill or one of Spidey's school friends? I dunno, it's fine. We're here for a great mech, and we got a great mech. I don't wanna complain too much. If mechs came out less often, or at least to this degree of excellence, I'd be much happier.

This thing is awesome! The build is overall similar to the Power Miners Crystal King from 2009, but so much better. I love the translucent orange, gold, and gray color scheme the use of antennae pieces to create dripping lava and Crystal King armor to create molten rocks, etc. My favorite thing about it is the asymmetrical look, with little greebles througout, and more importantly, various pieces of street sticking out of the figure. The street lamp, car hood, sign post, traffic light, and (I think) fence peices) come together really well to give the illusion that he's coming out of the road. The minifigures are great too. Stealth Spiderman and Mysterio are great new figures with a high amount of detail, and some great play features in spiderman's webs. The fireman is the ultimate examlpe of "it's the thought that counts" since he's going up against a giant sentient humanoid molten lava monster with a fire extinguisher. My only small complaints are that the stickers can be troublesome and that the line overall has no Ned minifigure. Despite that, this is still one of my favorite sets.

I’m not a huge fan of Marvel characters. Well, to be honest, I’m not a fan at all, so it’s perhaps a good thing that I had help from a friend who is not only a Marvel fan, but a Lego enthusiast, and perhaps more importantly, 9 years old. So having ticked all the criteria on the list, we – he – set to, while I watched. There are so many small bits and pieces in this box, but he had them all sussed in no time and before I knew it. This kit revolves around Spider Man and Molten Man (who thinks up these names!), and Molten Man’s Cunning Plan is a quick easy fix – instead of arguing and fighting his enemies he just melts ‘em – a handy talent to have if you ask me. I love the “melted” items: half a car, half a lamp post, and the three little mini-people.A good few hours of fun was had by my 9 year old helper, and this was declared “cool”. The price is about what I would expect from this brand, and considering the hours of play, and the fact they’re virtually indestructible, it’s good value.

Ok I know there’s some 3,4, 5 year old Lego genius who can build this unaided but on the whole there’s also some children who struggle with the more complicated sets and this is a rather fiddly one which is possibly 7+ to attract the young Spider-Man fan more than an indicator of the ease.My daughter loves Lego and we use it partially for the STEM creativity aspects and partially to help her build strength in her fingers and hands as a form of home based OT/physio. She loves to play with the finished creature but this was a build for me and my husband to do whilst she gleefully played with the minifigures. If you’re buying it for the post-build play value it’s not bad,it’s not quite balanced enough with a heavy torso and spindly legs but is fun to play- she mixed it up with the ninjago and Disney sets she had. But if you’re buying it for w young child new to Lego but loves to build they may need a little help.

This Lego set is for the new Spiderman movie Far From Home, and features a big creature called Molten Man and three minifigures (Spiderman, Mysterio and .... a firefighter!)Molten Man is a big figure that has joints like the Lego Hero Factory builds. He's got street furniture and even a car sticking out of him, and also some cool chains hanging off him. One hand is a claw that can grip a minifigure inside, and the other hand is a rotating wheel that shoots Lego studs, a bit like a Gatling gun. He seems to be a bit top heavy though, and easily slips and slides when you try and stand him up.The minifigures each has accessories. The firefighter has a fire extinguisher,Mysterio has weird blue things that you can shoot off his hands, and Spiderman has a lot of webbing (some build up to form a big web).

For a little bit of background, I am a LEGO collector who is largely interested in Marvel sets, building them with my family and displaying. Overall, I have found printing in the Marvel sets recently to be quite disappointing. This set is no exception, with weak, scratched painting on the majority of the Molten Man panels, including the edges of the face. Spider-Mans leg printing is also faint and is slightly rubbed off. The set looked nice until the later half of the last bag, the biggest problem of which is the horrible head design. When trying to pose the Molten Man build, I found the legs did not have enough friction to keep him in any interesting poses other than a straight legged stance. The set is fun to play with, and makes a great display anyways!

I am mirroring what many others have said, but this is a very fun set. The Molten Man build is more stable than I thought it would be. I was worried the extra bits (road signs, lampposts, etc) would fall off every time the set was moved, but this is not the case. All of those extras also add to the great design. It's also great to get a new Spider-suit (and the black "stealth" design is very cool)! The one issue is the inclusion of the firefighter. I'm not sure why he is there (there didn't appear to be firefighters involved in the Molten Man fight in the movie). It would have been better to get Ned or even a Shield agent instead.

ROARAROOROAOA!!!!!!! LOVE IT!So the only odd but... Mysterio, the character inside, unless I read the box and realised this was from the Spider-Man set, I thought it was a cross-franchise Dr Strange... I just did, I can't help it.But, other than that you get a "Venom" style spider-man in there, and you get plenty going on, but the molten man has lots of delicate parts, so when it says 7+ it does mean it, I'd say 11+ in places with this set there's a lot going on and the younger lego-er can quickly feel out their depth. There's no real good articulation here though, the molten man it best left posed statically.

This is for 7+, so my nephew will have to wait before he can have it. He loves Marvel. HOWEVER... I am an AFOL. Therefore, I get 2 years of building this set before my nephew is old enough. No wonder I am called Evil Uncle Paul... ha ha ha ha...HA!!This set features quite a few small pieces. Molten Man can even fire some of those small pieces. That's why it's for 7+. Any younger and adult supervision is recommended. Molten Man has ball socket joints and thus is totally movable. The set is fun but of course just 1 in a series of the Far From Home movie.

Great simple build,Based on this summers new Spider-Man film. The set builds one of the films ‘elementals ‘ which are based on fire, water etc, this one the fire based one, made to look like it’s made of street parts ie lamp-post, traffic light, car parts plus fire, molten rock etc.Looks good once built. The three figures are all great, a fireman, a new spidey in stealth suit which looks fantastic plus the brilliant version of mysterio, all nicely detailed! Great set well worth the price for what you get!

Great fun for those into Marvel characters, especially Spiderman. There's a lot of small parts, this is not an easy one to put together, therefore hold off until at least 8, though of course, children vary in relative maturity. At 295 pieces this is complex and feels a great achievement once together. There's three small figures to go along with the main(18cm approx) character. All in all, huge fun, and will keep a fan occupied for hours - and become something to be cherished.

.....and still think Lego is awesome! However, this kit wasn't actually for me. I bought it for my 11 year old nephews birthday and have it on great authority that this is a super cool piece of kit. Price wise.. competitors were cheaper online, but I still appreciate my high street enough to pay the bit extra and buy from Argos. I collected the next day. All good.

My son bought this set and another set at the same time after saving up his money for months . He enjoyed building this set as it has lots of interesting pieces and was fun to make and not too hard to build and would be a good set for beginners who like a challenge . It is of very good quality as always and would highly recommend it . Thank you .

Great Lego set as it contains the key characters from spiderman homecoming, and for a low price. However this set does suffer from the same problems as other similar figures in that it often breaks and requires repeated rebuilds, and is fiddly to play with. It seems lego haven't quite cracked articulated joints on these sets yet
