The Marvel Spider-Man 'Far from Home' Lego set is an impressive product with lots of detail and some great features. It comes with a boat with an oar and Hydro-man's ice mount that he can stand on. There are four characters: Hydro-man, Mysterio, MJ and Peter Parker, who each have their own independent styles. Peter Parker and MJ have heads that show different facial expressions when turned... This allows you to make or customise your own action scenes. Peter's iconic mask can be swapped for his hair which gives you more than one choice for any specific scene. Mysterio has two blue flames that when clicked, shoots out of his hands. I think this is a very interesting feature that looks cool because it again gives you more choice and has a satisfying click.

Lego always seems to be popular with kids of all ages and, although it is quite expensive to buy initially, it lasts very well offering a lot of fun for the price. This Marvel Spider-Man Hydro-Man Attack Building Set is from the “Super Heroes” range and is suggested for boys and girls aged 7 plus – although I guess this set was designed primarily for boys. The main section features a Venice scene and comes with Hydro-man, Mysterio, MJ and Peter Parker, plus a good selection of Lego accessories. The Venice scene has a canal-side café, a bridge,a gondola and a buildable water base for Hydro-Man. This is a bit of a specialist Lego product, so is best selected for a child who is a fan of Spider-Man,

This is one of the more "simple" Lego sets out there (though it still causes me trouble) in that the build is relatively small and has no flashing or battery operated moving parts or anything like that. Although you can fire the included mini-figures through the air with the "explosive action". Which is great fun.But it's Lego, and great fun for those who love Lego and/or Marvel's Spiderman.It's builds a "Venice" set and has the bonus of coming with four mini-figures as well as having a number of "spider web" pieces that can be placed in various locations/with various figures to make it a bit more customisable than some set.It was easy to assemble, and great fun to do so.

The Lego Spider-Man and Hydro-Man Attack building set looks complex and time consuming with 4 bags stuffed full of (some quite tiny) Lego pieces and the thick 90+ page instruction manual. Yet the manual is so concise and easy to follow that assembly is easy and surprisingly quick for someone a little younger than the 7+ recommended age with close supervision. In fact I don’t think the young age range fully appreciates the level of detail that has gone into this Lego set …. there is even a tiny coffee machine. This Lego toy is also more than a static construction. You can move Spider-Man’s webbing around the bridge and attached building, plus you can ‘explode’ parts of the bridge during epic battles featuring Spider-Man,

I have always loved Lego and genuinely believe it’s probably the best toy any child (or adult) can have as it fires imaginations and develops problem solving skills, as well as being great fun. I love just about every set we’ve ever purchased and we have a few Avengers sets. This one keeps to the same high and ingenious standards and will provide a lot of fun for younger kids (6-9 in my view) and the included mini-figures are a nice addition. It can, of course, be transformed into anything you like. There are no batteries, beeps or flashing lights and that’s always good in my view. The downside (and reason for loss of a star) is my usual gripe about Lego and it’s simply too expensive.

This is a really good LEGO set, filled with fun and unique pieces.Obviously, the most stand-out of these is the minifigs: You get a bunch here (four!) and the hydro-man, in particular, is really characterful. These almost make the set worth its low price on their own.However, there are a bunch of other special pieces here that both look great when added to the scene, or can be deconstructed and used in other projects. These range from the great espresso machine design, to spiderwebs and a neat gondola.Construction for the scene is pretty minimal, and can be easily accomplished by an adult within an hour, making it perfect as a gift for a child aged 7 or 8.

With just over 500 pieces, this is a major building project for a child. However, the instruction booklet is extremely detailed, with accurate pictures of the pieces, and the project is broken down into four easy stages. What is very helpful is that the pieces are packed in four bags, one for each stage.Assembly is quite straight-forward, and my eight year old grandson managed it, with a little help, without problems.The completed project is a Venice set with four mini figures, accessories and a gondola so, having completed the construction, it’s ready for fantasy games, either alone or with friends.Like all the best toys, this is educational, but fun.

My daughter and I are huge fans of Lego, particularly those from the big franchise universes - Star Wars, Marvel etc. As sets go, this has all the usual lego benefits - top quality, great detail, clear instructions. Where it falls down (to my mind) is the absence of a spiderman figure. Sure you get Peter Parker and a mask, and yes you might have Spidey in another set, but it would be good to have him in the kit. There's also not a huge amount of scope for building your own creations, as this is a relatively small set for the money. That said, the Mysterio and Hydroman figures are very cool, nd there's plenty of fun to be had with the set.

A lovely Spider Man Far from Home LEGO set. The set allows set up for various settings of how you would like to roll out the action. Its possible to vary some of the characters whilst in play. The Lego set has very high level detail that has had careful attention input into each part. Its really quite wonderful when you can identify the detailed subtlety put into this quality set. Set-up and the assembly was no great challenge. Given the high level interest that Spider Man attracts given to the right person this is bound to please.

I'm really impressed with this Lego set for the price.First of all, it comes with four minifigures and secondly, it's bigger than it looks in photos and on the box.The 'explosive action' flip seat isn't amazing but it's still fun and I wouldn't expect it to be much more on a set of this price. No, this doesn't include the types of complex mechanics you'll see on larger sets but they are more expensive for a reason, and this is much easier for young Lego fans to build.A good addition to any Lego Marvel collection.

The box images are a little bit odd with this one. They make the finished model look smaller than it actually is. Really there are some fun details in there, like the mini coffee shop and the sewer rat with its gem and pizza slice. The action feature on the bridge is good, although I wasn't too impressed by the flippable seat - it doesn't work that well, and it seems like it was tacked on just for the sake of having another action feature. But that aside it was a fun build and a good few useful bricks for custom jobs.

My four year old son loves this set. It has "super cool" features like Doc Oct arms on the boat, and the plane shoots disks. Easy but not too easy for my son and he felt very proud to complete a Lego set on his own. Must buy for any Spiderman fan.

A lot larger than I was expecting but I enjoyed building it in my free time.Wished Hydro man was able to spin his water stand as it’s kind of boring.Stickers were a pain to put on hydro man I would of liked to pay around £5 less than I did.

This set makes for a fun little set piece action set for the new spidey film.Parts of the bridge can be made to be pop out and be destroyed as the battle rages on.Lots of fun was had building and playing with this set

Happy with purchase, you cant beat lego, always keeps children occupied and happy, wouldn't say value for money as it never has been priced reasonable but we buy it because it is very popular with the grandchildren.
