Got this set for a dark fantasy MOC I've been building. I got the Monster fighters castle set so I can compare.The good:Decent display piece.Castle opens up inviting play, is also very sturdyMain Badguy mini-figure is awesomeThe colours look great.The Bad:Rooms themselves feel lacking in details. 2 prison cells with nothing in them...The mouth moving/trapdoor play feature is mehLight green parts SHOULD glow in the dark like monster huntersIt feels like they were trying to make an improved version of monster fighters. But I feel as though is less interesting all up. It's a solid purchase for castle stuff but would not say essential.

This was purchased for my daughter as it’s going away for Christmas , We are all mad on Lego and wanted something new so with her getting a new mobile I thought this would be a great build as well as interactivity , It’s a great size and looking forward to her receiving it at Christmas.

Grandson (7) is obsessed with Lego & pleaded for this set. He loves it and plays with it for hours. His wee sister enjoys playing with this set too. As usual with these sets, there's loads of cute details & hours of fun to be had, both building then playing. Recommend.

This set has the attention to detail and is by far probably the best hidden side set available to date, the haunted school is the closest in comparison. The play ability fantastic to, not sure a 9 year old could build it though it took me 3 and a half hours

My son will love this for Xmas. Got for a great sale price too! Delivery was delayed for a day which wouldn't have been great if I was relying on that delivery and when arrived the box was v wet and damaged. Luckily the Lego box inside appears to be ok
