This Lego Hidden Side Graveyard Mystery Building Set comes with the characters - Spencer (the dog), Parker, Jack, Mr. Bronson and a Skeleton. It's recommended for ages 7+, there are some very small parts so it's not suitable for younger children or older children who still like to stick small objects up their nose and in their ears.First of all - the build. This is great. The set comes in two numbered bags, be aware there's also a small sticker sheet loose in the box, and the instruction booklet which is 110 pages long. The set takes 2.5 to 3 hours to build depending on how proficient you are at Lego building and/or how often you get interrupted by other members of your family either wanting to help or wanting you to help them with something else.

At time of writing, the app wasn't available - I looked everywhere and scanned the QR code, but it doesn't seem to be up yet. I'll update this review when it becomes available, as the VR interactivity was what I was most excited about this set by.The set is a lot more complex than other ones of it's size; lots more small parts and fiddly parts. Personally I prefer the bigger bricks and the bigger sets, but this one is intricately detailed in a way i've not seen before; Lego are really upping their game! I like the leaves and the dog, I haven't seen these in lego before. I'm not sure I like that the characters now hold mobile phones...I know it's neutralised in society nowadays,

I was so pleased to be able to review a Lego set. My children are obsessed with Lego and don't play with a great deal else these days so having a brand new set scored me lots of Dad points.The set itself is well-priced for what you get. There's a lot of detail and it looks pretty cool. My son loved building it and has now decided he'd like to ask Santa for some of the other Hidden Side sets. He usually only asks for Ninjago, Star Wars, or Marvel sets so this must be good to make his wishlist.The only downside is the app. It's great but make sure your or your child's device is compatible if you want to use the app with it.We struggled to get the app at first because it was released later than expected.

My interest in the new Hidden Side theme is based on it's similarity to the old Monster Hunters theme. This particular set was the first I went with because I was drawn to the price-point and the graveyard design. There are a lot of fun playable elements built in and plenty of small details (like the inside of the gravedigger's shack) that add character to the set. The other reviews I have read mention issues with the app support only on newer phones. While I am sure the app adds something to the playability of the set, I really got it just for the design and pieces. While this new theme is obviously directed at children, I am enjoying the pieces and new characters.

This is one of the smaller Hidden Side sets but also one of my Son's favourite builds.This was quite a straight forward build and my Son didn't need any assistance.The set works best if you can access the AR app however please note that the app only works on newer model phones and tablets and as such we haven't been able to use this part of the set. I can confirm on a build basis only that this is a lovely small build and goes brilliantly with the other sets released so far but can also be played with as a stand alone set too.My Son loves Spencer the Ghost Dog and the Jack character and the whole theme.

This Lego set is great for those who like hands on and also gamers as it integrates both the building side and the app on the phone with gaming afterwards. For our family we enjoyed the building however the gaming seemed confusing however being a non gaming family this could be why... the instructions on the app were very fast however and so I’d suggest if your son/daughter is of the age where they are just learning to read at a reasonable speed that you go through the app the first time with them.The building was a really fun experience and took several days of entertainment as there were over 120 steps!Definitely a challenge

This is really good. It's Lego so it's already guaranteed to be good quality. It's a fairly simple build, although younger users might need a little adult help, but it doesn't take too long to put together which is a good thingThe app itself took a little while to be available. But it works really well and adds a really good level of dimension to the set, although at the cost of never being allowed your phone again because the kids want it. But then that's true of everyday anyway so I'm used to that ;>A great Lego set, and a really good purchase for Halloween given its themes

The lego set is a fantastic quality as always. My 6 yr old nephew loved making this set. The ghost dog and the hiding places and movable pieces were a big win for him. The app ... not so much. It was too hard for him to use and I'm not sure it really added to the experience. I think this set is fab and it great to play with, I'm not sure the app adds to the experience and the ability to be imaginative. I don't really think hidden side is for us. Set is high quality and fun without the app anyway though so worth it if it's a theme your child will engage with.

I am a massive Lego fan, although I have not built any for a while. In recent years I have leaned towards the Licenced products such as the Star Wars or Harry Potter Themed Lego, so was really pleased to try this new set out.It took me just over an hour to build, and it reminded me how clever the people at Lego are. This small but intricate set is brilliant. I am not able to review the AR, as the App is not released until 1st of August, but I look forward to trying it as soon as it is available :)

My son and I took our time and completed this set in about 3 hours which was very enjoyable as any lego lover would know. It's quite intricate at times but looks fantastic when complete, however that's not the end, download the lego hidden sides app and it turns into an interactive game full of ghost and ghouls perfect for halloween, it is quite amazing. Be aware though it was not compatable with my lads tablet so it was downloaded onto my phone which made it a little fiddly with a small screen

This was an interesting Lego set to build as the finished product wasn't a car or a truck (the usual sets we buy). The pieces were clearly packaged and the instructions were fairly clear but as many of the pieces were dark, it made a few of the steps quite tricky to see. It took about 2 hours to build. The interactive feature was disappointing as the special app wasn't compatible with any of our devices. It looks like you need a bang up to date phone or tablet. Not everyone will have these.

As somebody who enjoys the season around Halloween, this set appealed to me. The features and details of the set are perfect for the spooky ghost hunting theme. There were very few stickers (a big plus). The most difficult part of assembling the set was the tree, and that was not very hard. In addition, the AR app was fun to interact with the set. I'm "on the fence" about buying other Hidden Side theme sets at this time, but I am very pleased with graveyard set purchase.

What a great toy to have, very creative and educational for children, my 8 year old spend a lot of time, thinking and reading instructions to build up hid Lego, he has now collected all hidden side Lego. And the advantage to have is to be able to use your iPad to reveal the ghosts on the hidden side Lego. With all the collection we didn’t see my son for 3 weeks in the evening cos he was busy building his lego!

In isolation this is quite a nice standalone lego set. The pieces create good creepy looking imagery, they are straightforward to assemble and are a bit more interesting to look at and interact with. The augmented interactive element is a bit of an added bonus though I found it a bit confusing myself and it's not really strictly necessary to do though it's nice at least to have the option.

Fab lego set, my children all helped building this set. They loved the 'Scary tree' that moves and the tomb that opens with a skeleton inside.Really good set thats a bit different. I was a bit sceptical about the interactive app, but it works and the children all loved it. Great for all ages, mine range from 5 - 12 years. But fab for all ages. Can't upload pics as camera not working,
